Our family of 4, including a 4-year-old and 1-year-old, had a very pleasant stay. Everything was as advertised and our hosts helped us handle the airline losing our bags by receiving them when we were not present.

Perfect location. 1.5 miles from groceries, shopping, numerous restaurants but sitting on back porch it's quiet and peaceful. Park with tennis, basketball, and nice playground is a 5 minute walk. Very friendly and helpful host. Hope this place will be available should we have opportunity to visit the area again.

This is second summer I, my ex and our two daughers have stayed at the Heuffners, both times for two weeks. The cabin is great, stays cool in the heat, has a nice kitchen and we loved eating our meals on the outdoor patio. The location is excellent if you want to stay on west side of portland. I always take the "little suite" which is a small room that's mostly bed but has its own little bathroom. My ex and one of the girls would share the big suite connected to the big bathroom, and my youngest would get the back bedroom.
Outside is also an adjustable basketball hoop and Bill will give you a basketball to play with. I enjoyed daily neighborhood walks up and down hills through the beautiful trees.
The only nits is there is only a single shower in the big bathroom so sometimes we had to wait for each other. The bed in the little suite is an air mattress, if you stay for a while like we do it slowly deflates, but it has an electric pump so just takes a few seconds to refill it to the level of firmness I prefer. The washer/dryer are a little small but we never had any problems getting our laundry done.
Other than that its perfect and I hope we are always able to stay here for the rest of my summers.

The homeowners were easy to communicate with especially after I communicated that it was my first time in the state and that we would be visiting family. Beautiful guesthouse. He even found a couple of basketballs for my kiddo. Overall great experience!

Property was adequate for our long term stay. It was home-away- from home! Bill and Marina were always available for contact, and very courteous to our questions. The location was very convenient to stores and park area. We enjoyed many walks throughout the neighborhoods. We really appreciated the abode!

We arrived late and they left the key for us in the mailbox. The host instructed us to drive through a gate and keep it closed for their dog. We liked the location in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. The house was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. We never saw or met our host. The kitchen has the necessities to cook a meal, and some spices, including a coffee machine and ground coffee provided. There were a couple minor things that we think would have improved our comfort, for example, the mattresses were very firm, and one of them was a queen size air mattress, and the front bedroom and bathroom had no power plugs. We also found that the air freshener plug-in was overwhelming and we had to unplug it and put it under the kitchen sink to clear the air. Otherwise we enjoyed it very much.

Very satisfied with house, my wife was disappointed in the bedroom and living room furniture's comfort. Needs A/V throughout the house.

Entire family greatly enjoyed our stay. My daughters loved the swings and basketball court. Ioved the great location close to downtown beaverton, Nike and freeways to downtown and lake Oswego, as well as the quiet compound that enabled me to get work done. We were here in July, so we’re grateful for the A/C. My ex enjoyed the back deck where she sat and read. We have stayed in Portland every summer for nearly twenty years and it’s the best accommodations we’ve ever had.

We liked the location in the suburbs, close to shops and restaurants. Also the rental was freeway close but with no noise.
We enjoyed sitting on the back patio in the evening .

The home is in a nice location with lovely gardens. The home was advertised as having two bathrooms-in reality is one and one half. The home was not clean. Surfaces were sticky and dead bugs and spider webs had been there a very long time. The sheets on the beds were clean but the comforters had not been washed recently. We were given two rolls of toilet paper for a four day stay with three adults. One of the beds was sitting on the floor and should have been on a frame. I took pictures to illustrate the issues should the owners need clarification.

The space was plenty big to accommodate our family and had fun and quirky decor. I wish the rain would have let up so we could have used the basketball hoop, but Oregon delivered its on renowned wet weather.

We had a great vacation at Portland. This house is located at a great location, close to the 217, yet very quiet and convenient to shops and restaurants. The place was very clean and functional and met our needs as a small family. Our 5 years daughter loved the pink bedroom.

Hosts were very helpful making the house kid safe. Unfortunately the listing said 2 queen beds and the beds were a full and an air mattress. Also the kitchen was not full stocked with cooking utensils.

Property owners were supportive and communicative. Wonderful neighborhood. Took runs every morning. Easy to get to and from the city and to grocery stores and such (needed a car). Property was as described and had many items we needed (iron and such). Recommend this property for families..

Bill's guest house was perfect for our family with young kids (4 and 6). The neighborhood felt very safe, and the guest house was very spacious and comfortable. We visited in the summer when Portland was nearly 100 degrees, but the guest house remained cool. There were several window AC units and fans in the property, which help keep the whole house comfortable. Highly recommended to stay here.

A real GEM!
My wife and I have just spent three wonderful weeks at this quirky property. It is perfectly located and superb value for money. The friendly owners, Bill & Marina, are on site if you need anything, but they are not imposing at all. We certainly hope to spend another vacation there, and soon.
Thank you Bill and Marina

Nice place in a nice neighborhood
We enjoyed our stay. The property is in a great neighborhood, and conveniently located to highways and shopping/dining districts. It was clean, quiet and well equipped. Beds are really firm, but we slept surprisingly well on them. Two bathrooms, but only one shower, so it will sleep 6, but the shower situation is limiting. Owner communications was good.

Nice place and friendly host.
Easy check in and good communication with the host. The swings in the backyard were a big hit for the kids. We had everything needed to spend a great time with the family. We particularly enjoyed the deck on the back while the kids played on the back yard. The host also let us use his basketball hoop on the parking area. I'm planning on booking again next time.

Quiet home, conveniently located
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. While the home is a little older, it’s well kept and it met all our needs. The location was great, close to restaurants, parks and the highway. Communication with the owner was excellent. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and we felt very safe at all times. We would rent this home again if we ever travel to the area in the future.
