Enjoy all the comforts of home during a stay at this adorable Gearhart vacation rental with room for four guests and a great location close to the beach and the golf course.
Located right off 3rd Street in Gearhart, there are exciting activities around every corner, including a few fabulous eateries and the well-loved Gearhart Golf Links! Plus, the beach is only three short blocks west for building sand castles, long walks on the sandy shores, surfing, kayaking, and much more.
This charming A-frame has a welcoming cabin feel, and is casually furnished and decorated to bring you all the necessities of home. The living area is open and airy, with bright natural light flooding through the front wall of windows. Take a nap on the over-sized sectional couch, watch your favorite show on the TV, which comes with cable and a DVD/VHS player, and snuggle up in the armchair by the fireplace to read a good book.
Adjacent to the fireplace is a round dining table for four, great for eating home-cooked meals together after a fantastic day of sight-seeing. After your meal is cleaned up (which is easy with the dishwasher), grab a few board games from the entertainment center to play. WiFi access is provided.
The well-equipped kitchen makes budget-friendly meals a snap. Just bring along fresh ingredients and use the included major and small appliances (a microwave, coffee maker, coffee grinder, and blender) to whip up tasty meals for the whole group.
A washer and dryer and small sink are available in the main bedroom for your convenience. Dogs are welcome for a small fee.
Grab your tennis rackets and walk the three blocks to the public tennis and basketball courts for some fun exercise. If those aren't quite your thing, the golf course is only half a mile away. Walk down Cottage Avenue to the Pacific Way Bakery and Cafe for a delicious meal on your way to the beach. Shop at local boutiques, or head two miles south to Seaside to walk the Promenade and window shop at the carousel mall.
Rain or shine, your group of friends or family will have a blast staying at this quaint Northern Oregon Coast vacation rental.

Nice quiet neighborhood within walking distance of beach. Could see a bit of golf course. Fenced yard was great for our dog. Had all the basics, nice towels. Couch comfy and tv is nice. Could use a bit of refreshing and up dating inside but sufficient for our short stay.

We had a great stay, right in the heart of Gearhart. We would stay here again!

Quiet neighborhood, view of the golf course, easy walk to the beach and tiny little 'downtown' Gearhart. A warm, dry weekend made it possible to spend a lot of time sitting on the deck with our books, enjoying the lovely surroundings. However, we weren't able to use the BBQ that was on the deck. Not sure if it was out of propane or another problem. Again, no written instructions for use.
The house was just the right size for the two of us. Enough space for a couple or a family of 4 with very young children. Even with the sofa bed it would be tight quarters for four adults. Only one very small bathroom.
Would like to come back for a couple of days in winter but not sure the little electric fireplace would keep the main room warm enough.

Conveniently located to beach and seaside towns.

This delightful house offers a perfect escape from the city. Tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood, it's still just a short drive away from Seaside's downtown. The tranquil environment creates a relaxing haven for lazy days. Board game enthusiasts will find a variety of options available. Curl up with a good book or enjoy a movie night - the house is great for both. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking a delicious meal. All you'll need to pack are your clothes and your favorite things to unwind with.

Quick walk to the beach (or drive if the weather is not great), a quick walk to a lovely bakery, and a short drive to Seaside/Cannon Beach or Fort Stevens. The property is perfect for a couple people, the backyard was great for our dog to run around in. I will definitely stay here again in the future the next time we plan a coast visit.

My husband and I enjoyed the home and thought the location was great! A lovely experience all around.

My husband and I, along with our yellow lab Lottie, had a wonderful three day stay. The view to the golf course was a treat and the two block walk to the beach provided sunsets, lovely views and peaceful paths to walk our dog. Going two blocks the other way, we were able to access the fabulous Gearhart Ridge path. The home was cozy and kitchen has wonderful natural light from two large skylights. We have no complaints and we certainly will be back again.

The property is definitely old but it was clean and well stocked. The location was also great. The fenced yard was helpful for our dog.

The home itself was nice, clean and cozy. As advertised. Problem arose when attempted to use TV and found no instructions for the multiple devices. Tried and failed on our own. Phone calls to VACASA were pleasantly received, but no follow-up on our request to have someone tell/show us how to operate the multimedia devices. After repeated calls over several days and promises that we would hear from someone, no one followed up with us. We were there four nights without the use of the TV, which we had counted on. But primarily, very disappointed with the lack of follow through or contact by any local host. We have used VRBO in the past and never run into this problem, but will likely not use this agency again. Not sure of the relationship between VRBO and VACASA, perhaps that was the problem.

I genuinely don’t have enough good things to say about this home. It’s small but so cozy. It’s right by the beach, walkable to some shops, & just so lovely. Close to Seaside without paying those Seaside prices & I had a great time with my husband & our dog. I will absolutely recommend this spot to family/friends.

Nice place
A very nice place for our short stay in Gearhart. A short walk to the beach where my son and I went clamming for the first time. My young kids loved staying in, "the triangle house." My only suggestion would be to add a larger pot for boiling water in. Otherwise, we had everything we needed.

My fiancé and I stayed her for the weekend and I have to say I never write reviews unless I’m unhappy with something typically. But I could not wait to write a good review! This charming little a-frame will definitely be our go to spot from now on. It was perfect for just the two of us. It had everything we needed. It was very clean and offered anything we needed or forgot. The bed was comfortable. Could the place be updated, sure. But it’s so charming the way it is. This is what we expect when coming to the Oregon coast is a little bit of character and we got that. We can’t wait to book our next vacation here we are already planning dates. The only thing we wish is we could go upstairs and see the loft. If we had more people staying with us that would be a bonus to have that extra space. But all in all what an amazing little spot. Can’t wait to come back!

Great Weekend.

Nice little cabin in great neighborhood.
It would be very difficult to sleep 4 people here in less they were small children. Great for a couple.

Perfect Spring Break
This cozy, airy, little A-frame is really charming! Skylights, adorable kitchen with all the things, comfy couch and chairs. Loved the big enclosed backyard for our pup to run and play, and the walk to the beach was short and pretty, over the rolling dunes. You can hear the ocean while sitting on the wraparound deck. Spotlessly clean with so many towels and extra blankets, too! Gearhart is really the perfect location…so quiet, and away from the crowds and traffic at Seaside, but close enough that we could drive over, shop, and walk the promenade anytime. Will definitely be back!

Nice little place for a short trip to the coast.

Awesome experience
Close to the beach but out of the commotion of tourists. Quick drive to seaside or cannon beach, and a short walk to have a fire by the beach and watch the sun set.

Maintenance needed
Several items did not work as expected. Sliding glass door opened with minor problem , closed with major difficulty. No propane in barbecue . Screen door falling apart. Fdn on stove mad loud noise when turned on..

We loved staying here. As others have said, the bed isn't very comfortable. Other than that, this place had everything we needed to have a fun getaway. The beach in Gearheart is more private than in Seaside.I wish I could buy this cabin and give it some TLC like new carpet and upgrade the windows and doors. It does make sense that they would show wear since it was built in the 60's and gets used by pet owners.

Cozy, quiet, and a short walk to beach where there were few people. Everything was perfect.

No Clamming
Beautiful weather. Nice location. Great food nearby. Came to dig clams but red tide had beaches closed for clamming.

Great location if you can't get ocean view/oceanfront with 2 blocks to the beach as well as a nearby cafe and diner on 101. Mcmenamins is also nearby. The back yard is great for your dog and the decks around the house provide good outside seating. Bedroom is very small with a quasi-comfortable bed. Bathroom could use some updates-like a low flow (chair height)toilet and better lighting and a rug for those cold floors. Tiny shower doesn't look inviting but is functional. All in all a relaxing stay.

Poor communication, and a lock box from hell
Property was cute and worked for us. The lock box is a mess, and you need a new one. The deck in the rain is deadly slick. I got WAY too many emails from VRBO telling me over and over stuff I already had been told. I got three requests to provide my car info. By the time we were to leave for Gearheat that morning, no information had come on how to enter the home. I'd written your contact people (and you list WAY too many contact people, most of which are phone robots.) I needed a person I could always get to easily, and you did not provide that, in a manner that was easy to find. The marketing materials are poorly written, so I had to search and search every page in the binder I had to create for this trip, you sent me so much unnecessary stuff. So, while my stay was pleasant, it was mostly due to us, and little to do with you. I won't be booking through your service again. It was much too much "paper and text trail" heavy, and I was not able to access a live person easily. This is key for us.

Cute and Quaint
This place is super cute. We had a nice time. The bedroom is a bit smaller then we believed based on the pictures but over all was a good stay.

Good Location. A Bit Uncomfortable.
The bed was particularly stiff - which led to a major loss in sleep over our time there. This coming from someone in their 20s who's never had an issue with something like that before.
The top of the house is locked, though not explained within the listing I think. Backyard was usable for a dog - though unfortunately no door directly there, nor any window to keep an eye on them. Barking is prohibited in this area as well...
The rest was good! Location is a close walk to the beach, cabin (from the outside) was really cute, and there is a small cafe a block away. I do wish they had checkout instructions.
