Lovely location for what we needed, there were 5 of us so we had 2 cottages which worked out good value for the space.

Location great for us, good sized rooms, nice furniture, generally well equipped kitchen, good communication with the owners. Clean and comfortable. Picnic tables in the courtyard where we ate were useful.

Bare ceiling bulb in one bedroom and no lamps, one wine glass, not enough spoons, blind in bedroom in poor condition, decor could be a bit cosier.

Very good

The setting and location was very good, a taxi ride into Chepstow.

Not enough kitchen equipment for a self catering property(frying pan, baking trays etc,) and furniture in lounge and beds were uncomfortable, but based on how much we paid it was good value for the money.

Location

Lack of cooking utensils- no casserole dishes, etc to use in oven All the shelves in the fridge door were missing. Bedside lights were too high so you had to get out of bed to turn them off.

very dusty,I could not stop itching and sneezing . outdated . no extra bedding. nowhere to throw bins or cleaning stuff. tiny TV .

Prefer self catering, so ideal for us. Large rooms, plenty of parking

Fridge missing door shelves, so milk had to be laid down & consequently leaked. Toaster not popping up. One lot of burnt toast 🤨

Convenient spacious accommodation in quiet area near the town.

Peaceful location near the town. Plenty space for us. Well-equipped properties. Easy parking on site.

The noisy cow in the adjacent barn! - but hey, we're in the countryside.

A fantastic location. Very quiet and peaceful apart from the Cockerell early in the morning which was a great alarm clock.

Unfortunately the couches and bedweren't very comfortable Had quite a few bugs running over the floors. It was a very warm property

Lovely country location

Lovely quiet location within easy walking distance of town. Very spacious with good facilities, was fab being able to cook & do washing. Great heating the place was nice and warm.

Previous guests had used the oven and left trays dirty. If the bathroom was done up this place would be amazing, I really didn’t like the fact there was no lid on the toilet. The TV was tiny.

Nice cottage, warm, comfortable, lovely countryside, good instructions to find, host was helpful when we had questions

Small things - kitchen could be a little better equipped, e.g. baking trays. More storage space / hooks in second bedroom. But generally very good, very clean.

Ideally.placed just outside chepstow. Nice spacious rooms and bedrooms.

Homely, Affordable and Quiet space.

The cottage had everything we needed for the stay and the shower pressure was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was quiet but also very near to the main town.

The property is cold but soon warms up significantly once the heating is on. The TV was rather small but not a major concern.

Lovely property, some updating would easily give it 10 out of 10

Easy to find, plenty of parking. Lovely and warm throughout our stay.

Some updating required, larger TV needed, light bulbs missing from lamps, new light shades throughout. General upgrade in places and a deep clean.

the cottage could be lovely, location was remote but lovely. the kitchen looked new ish. the property was dirty and furn

sadly it was dirty rusty rails in the bathroom dust dirt on the floor behind sofas no toilet seat cover sofa - animal hair and dirt holes in the sofa dirt dust lampshades strong animal smell ( air freshener empty) bathroom fan was so noisy and vibrating bed was uncomfortable, springs noisy. walls dirty
