Come escape with us in our quaint community, Sargent, TX! This beautiful two-level waterfront home is situated on tranquil Caney Creek!
The home is ideally located for many outdoor activities, including fishing, boating, bird watching and much more. Some of the best fishing around!! Great outdoor space with tons of decking and a large yard. Sit on the deck in the evening with a cool drink and enjoy the gorgeous views or tell stories around the fire pit!
This five (5) bedroom, two (2) bath home features an open living & dining area with a well-equipped kitchen and features attention to every detail to make your stay enjoyable. The house can sleep 15 people comfortably (This includes 2 guest on a nice queen air mattress that is provided, or you can bring your own).
This home is a split-level home offering multiple families the space they might need. The upper level of the home offers three bedrooms one has a king bed and the other two each offer a queen bed. This level also includes a kids loft with two twin beds. There is also a queen blow up mattress available for use. The lower level with private entrance and own coffee bar has two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other offers three twin size beds.
The home has a large breezeway downstairs along with an abundance of deck space to relax in the shade. The winds blow through the breezeway ensuring pleasant weather on even the warmest of days.
Access to the public boat ramp that is seconds away from the house. Take a walk down our beautiful beach and witness the beautiful sunset and rises here in Sargent.

The place was beautiful, great location and quiet neighborhood. However, we paid for early check-in (for 1pm instead of 4pm) and we didnt get checkin info till almost 3pm. Also, after looking for 15 minutes we FINALLY found the lockbox. Once inside and turn kitchen light on...ROACH!
We however ended up having a great time. Once back home i reached out about our issues, with pictures, and was only told, "so sorry, it happens" basically. I have stayed in many homes along the coast and this was the 1st time with these issues and the response i got was just icing on the cake i suppose.

Fun on the Creek
This was a great property to entertain. The porches were absolutely the best part about it. We spent our days swimming in the creek and hanging out on the porches. The house was clean and decorated to perfection. When you walk in you felt like you were at home. The beds were so comfortable! The bedding and pillows were great. The one thing I would change is the parking situation. This house sleeps 15 people which means more than likely there will be multiple families sharing. There is only enough room for 4 cars.

Family fishing vacation
This location was really nice, but there were a few things that were misleading from the VRBO add. The grass was not mowed and VERY tall. We ended up finding a blower on the upper deck & had to blow the whole property because of all the build up of leaves dirt. There were 2 rooms downstairs that had no entry to the actual house which is not described in the info for this house. We went on a vacation wanting to spend time as a family yet we had to separate part of the family because no where in the description did it say these 2 rooms are completely separate from the house. I had questions about lights that weren't working and as soon as we got to the property I no longer had communication with the lady I did my contract with so I guess once your there your on your own. Figure it out! The location is perfect the actual house was very clean and beautiful! There were some things about this house that were a surprise and let down when we got there. Other than that it was great we really enjoyed ourselves.

A wonderful property. Well maintained and plenty of space for a large family group. Excellent choice if you want to sit back, relax, fish and throw out the crab traps. We had an excellent time. It was just what we needed - to slow down and enjoy each other.

Better than the pictures!
This house was PERFECT for our family getaway. The home accommodated all ages and pets. We were so thankful for the full pantry and refrigerator condiments!
The beds were very comfortable as well.
If you have kids or pets, look no further! The home was “baby proof” and the upstairs deck had two gates that lead to the stairs which was SO helpful with a toddler and two dogs.
We enjoyed are stay and hope to be back soon!

Fun weekend getaway
Only 1 1/2 hours from Katy, this was a very weekend spot. We fished from the dock. The children were delighted by the 4 varieties of swings and the hideaway loft. They want to go back again.

Fun Fun Fun
We had such a wonderful fun time with our children, their spouses and our grandchildren. The property is beautiful and had so much for the kids to do. We enjoyed fishing, ping pong, the fire pit, and the watering hole. Our grandchildren set up a store at the bar and sold us crackers and Powerade. They loved it!! None of us wanted to leave and are already planning to come back. Thanks for the wonderful family place to visit.

The house is amazing, very well kept and beautiful. We have stayed in many houses but this one by far is our favorite. The only complaint is the mesquite problem but that is out of the control of the property owner. Highly recommend this house for your home away from home on your vacation!!

Everything you need
This place was amazing, the pictures hardly do it justice. We came for my fiancé’s birthday and everyone who joined loved it. There is plenty of outdoor space for activities and for your dog to run around. Beds were all extremely comfortable!

Family Getaway on Caney Creek
Our time at this property was wonderful, excluding the incliment weather from the Tropical Storm in the Gulf. This location is meant for families which provided more than adequate facilities and bedrooms to handle our family needs. Location is very very Clean, Quiet on the Caney Creek, relaxazation for all of the family. Great place, wonderful land owner/property manager, that allowed us to enjoy the location to its fullest. Family vacation
We really enjoyed this house, it had plenty of room for our large family and we were very comfortable. We loved the large sitting area on both the upper and lower porches and the large yard. We brought our boat and were able to use the boat lift which was helpful. Owner was very helpful when we had questions and helped accommodate an extra night when we decided we wanted to stay one more day. The pantry and fridge were packed with stuff available for our use. We had everything we could possibly need. Highly recommend

We stayed here for 3 nights over NYE. This house was great! Huge yard, playground for the kids, darts, fishing, plenty of outdoor seating, paddle boat, comfortable beds, nice linens, very well appointed kitchen, clean, fresh paint, surround sound, huge TV, outdoor TV, great dock, close to beach, essentials supplied, I could go on and on. The owners have thought of everything. Would love to go back.

Great location, beautiful house equipped with everything you need.
We had a great Thanksgiving weekend at this location. From the beginning we had great communication with the manager and once at the house, everything was even better than expected. The house is not only beautiful, but it is also very well equipped. You could find more than enough towels for a large group, every utensil needed in the kitchen, extra blankets, TVs in every room, night lights, WiFi, etc. The backyard is great; it has swings, a small trampoline, and a lot of space for running. Kids had a lot of fun playing! We had a very pleasant stay and we will definitely come back.

Perfect place for family gathering!
I rented this house for a family birthday and getaway. Everyone was blown away by how great the house was! Nice and open spaces inside, with multiple outside deck areas. The younger kids loved the little ladder that led to a hideaway with beds and the older teens liked having their own separate suite downstairs away from the adults. There was plenty to do between paddle boating, air hockey, crabbing, and fishing. It was a very relaxing much needed getaway and perfect place for a big family to enjoy. It was also pet friendly which is a must for our family, and had gates to close the deck upstairs so dogs couldn’t get out. Very well stocked kitchen, nice gas grill, and we loved the swings and bar area downstairs. We will definitely be back again and recommend this to anyone looking for a place to host a lot of people!

Magical Family Fun!
This property is amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. My family and I were able to , fish , relax on the deck, watch all of our children play together on the ample amount of yard beside and behind the home. We watched boaters pass by on the river, roasted smore's on the fire pit, and drank pina coladas under the moonlight! I could go on forever, but the point is , we were able to be a family and enjoy each other. The inside of the property is clean, and fabulously decorated. The beds are comfortable, and it is more than enough space to gather and not feel crowded. Kandas is amazing. She really takes care of the property and her guests. There are so many amazing things to say about this property. My family and I will make this an annual event, we have found our home away from home.

Impressive property! lovely home, we enjoyed every inch of the land, the deck has plenty of chairs for all the children and adults. There are 2 games of darts, there is a large TV 2 swings and a trampoline on the deck.
The kids Loved the Air hockey table!! A bit of healthy competition, can't hurt! haha
The playground was an escape for the children, as well. :)
We enjoyed paddle boating and fishing from the pier, from the top level you can see forever up and down the Caney creek and the view is gorgeous with the sunsetting. Oh, my! I wont forget the beauty my eyes have seen. The swaying Spanish moss on the trees. We gathered on the porch and the neighbors had music playing it was so cool. It felt so tropical. We took silly selfies. We laughed, A LOT!
We hope & pray to return very, very soon! We would love to make this an ongoing family tradition.

My family and I enjoy renting places on the water. We have stayed at a number of places and found that this place, in particular, is the BEST we have stayed at thus far. The outdoor decks (upstairs and downstairs) are truly breathtaking. The indoor space was more than accommodating for our family. If you stay here, you will NOT be disappointed!

Very Nice!
I live in the area and needed extra space for friends to stay for a weekend gathering. We were all impressed with how very nice everything was, plenty of space, very nice furnishings, and very comfortable. The weekend weather was windy and very rainy, but we were able to spend the day outside under a covered porch area. We could have used a broom to sweep some of the leaves and branches that blew onto the porch and stairs.

Guy's Getaway
The house was great, clean, and plenty of room for 10 men. the outside area was where we spent most our time talking, having a few drinks, and fishing behind the house on the pier where we caught 2 Sheep heads, 3 Garfish, and 4 keeper Drum. The inter costal water way and beach for surf fishing were only 6 minutes away.
