Great location and well within walking distance to all the sights, bars and restaurants you could want

This is a delightful, comfortable, compact studio flat situated in the basement of an old, characteristic house. The road is only a very short walking distance to the center but really quiet, so location is just perfect. Marjolein, our wonderful, caring host, was great at making sure we had all we needed and gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and sight seeing. We would have no hesitation in recommending this charming place.*****
We can't think of anything we didn't like.

Check-in was uncomplicated. The host was reachable, friendly, helpful and welcoming.
Living room: The apartment's partially below street level. It felt private enough but you can also just close the curtains and still have light come in. Comfortable seats, working table, enough sockets; it was cosy yet spacious. The heating works well.
Kitchenette: A generous offering of breakfast items was provided, which is also covered in other people's reviews! Kitchen is functional with small luxuries, storage room and little extras like things to pack your lunch with. Enough cups/plates/glasses, cutlery.
Bedroom: Comfortable and warm bed, but like someone else mentioned it's two separate matrasses. A gap filler could make the place even more attractive to travelling couples.
Bathroom: I was worried when I saw photos of it not having a door, but it's not a problem for couples. It's also warm with extra heater and not too drafty. We stayed here on a very cold weekend (below zero) and it was fine.
Neighbourhood: Just around the corner of a good shopping street with plenty of supermarkets, bars and restaurants. You can walk to the central station in 20+ minutes, but the route isn't easy to remember. The bus connection is great, though!
Quiet: It's surprisingly quiet! You'll hear people walk/cycle past because the window is literally next to the street, but foot traffic stops fairly early. The host lives upstairs with a wooden floor so you'll hear some footsteps but they're very mindful. The fridge is close to the bed but not too loud. We had no trouble sleeping.
The toilet and hallway were freezing cold during that weekend. We'll bring night gowns next time, haha.
If you're carrying heavy suitcases you might need some help getting them down the stairs (you can ask the host).

This little souterrain studio is a real gem. Its in a perfect location, and walking distance into the city. Great shops and restaurants nearby. The host is warm and very welcoming. I loved the little extras and treats. The bed is comfortable and the compact shower lovely and hot. I very much enjoyed my stay here and can highly recommend it.

The location was perfect - just out of the city centre but only a short walk. There are a lot of shops and cafes, everything you need is right on your doorstep! The apartment had snacks and refreshments, and Marjolein was an exceptionally friendly and helpful host.
Nothing!

Location was excellent: a 10 minute walk to Dom Square, but in a neighbourhood that had its own character with restaurants, supermarkets etc. The apartment itself is on a quiet street.
Marjolein the Host was perfect: welcoming, helpful, flexible for arrival and departure times, responsive to chat in the app. She provided a selection of teas, coffees, butter, cheese, homemade jam, yoghurt, muesli etc and a bottle of wine, which was a lovely touch.
The apartment was great: perfectly clean, new shower room with great shower, nicely decorated, comfortable beds

The apartment is clean, comfortable, ideally situated for the centre of town without being in the middle of all the hustle and bustle and is very well provisioned. There's a supermarket just around the corner too.
Nothing. It's great

Great location, quiet road. The studio had everything, appliances, some snacks, tea, coffee, milk, fruit. Even some nice quality shampoos. The host was very nice and welcoming.

We truly loved staying at this cozy flat. The owner has really thought of everything: for example, even though the flat does not have a proper kitchen, there is a lot you can use to cook, like a microwave and steam tupperwares, a kettle and a fridge to store food... Enough to prepare a small breakfast or a cold dinner. The owner was also very sweet and left a couple of things for our breakfast, like Nespresso capsules and some fruit. We truly felt at home outside of home!
This is not the owner's fault, of course, but if you travel in winter like we did, bear in mind there is a considerable temperature difference between the main area (bedroom, shower, kitchenette and living room) and the toilet, which is across a small corridor. It can get quite chilly in the corridor and toilet, so I'd recommend bringing slippers and perhaps wearing some extra clothing when leaving the main area.
Another minor remark: the bed isn't actually a double bed, but two single beds together, which is not too clear in the picture on Booking.
