comfortable, pleasant lady, Lesley and good off road parking

large bedroom, very comfortable bed free off road parking

tv channels unavailable much of the time because of poor signal I guess. Netflix would have been a good option but not available

Wouldn't stay again.

Price was good. Free WiFi. Parking. Location good.

Very old fashioned, dull and tired looking, cobwebs everywhere, bed old and creaky, old and past its best bedding, musty smell as soon as you walked into property, no bedside table, no lamp, kettle not clean inside with lots of limescale, no proper shower just rubber hose attached to bath taps, no information or directions as to locking up and leaving key on checkout.

The view over the small, "wild" garden at the back.

The estate is quite a long way out of town. I didn't see many facilities in the immediate area (but then I didn't explore much).

Good for the one night I required but I would be reluctant to stay for longer.

Host very amenable. Parking on-street at no cost.

No TV in room. Property extremely dated.

70s throwback house was the pits

Nothing, the room looked like it hadn't been decorated since it was built, the bathroom was discusting, it was obvious it was used mainly for contractors working on Hinckley point power station as the wardrobes had other people's clothes in it, work ware ect, we asked the proprieter if we could use her iron as we were going to a wedding that day, the answer was, I don't think so, that's the only time we saw her, the house was in need of a good clean and we will be looking for compensation as that was not what we expected

Good

Clean, and homely. Plenty of toiletries available in the bathroom. Good to have easy access to a microwave. Lesley provided us with additional crockery on request. Quiet area. Able to park on the driveway so off the road. My husband in particular liked the firm mattress on the bed.

The bathroom was a little dated. We did not use the shower as it was over the bath and the position of it meant it would be difficult to use without getting the floor wet particularly as no shower curtain.

Nice and comfy bed. Parking on driveway.

Shower - hard to get water temperature needed. Not enough space. No curtains to avoid water spillage.

The bedroom was spacious, the host accommodating to my late arrival and space on the driveway. The bed was very comfortable.

The bathroom didn't have a full shower, the slanting ceiling means that's only a shower head is attached to the bath and it isn't particularly comfortable. There is no mirror or bin in the bedroom which would have been favourable. Generally high value for money for the short stop over that I required for a job interview!

Hidden gem - excellent valuec

Free WiFi. Off road parking . Breakfast not taken / provided. But kettle in the room with tea and coffee. Microwave in the hallway was useful. Garden View from the room. Room was very spacious

Money saved not worth the sleep sacrificed

Good location for my bike trip, a quiet residential area that felt safe for leaving the bike out overnight. Tidy, well kept place, spacious cozy room, the water, tea & pastry were a nice touch.

The mattress was an absolute terror. It felt like the only thing separating my body from the springs was the sheet. I could not sleep all night & even thought about moving to the floor. This really affected my trip as what was supposed to be a several hour long riding joy was a struggle to keep my focus on the road. This experience certainly changed the way I will be making bookings in the future

Value for money. Comfortable Microwave available

Quite noisy between 9pm-11pm which I believe was coming from the neighbors. As I was travelling for work, it was not the best option for sleeping early Shower room ceiling quite low

Though the room was clean and quiet she needs to improve on her bedding

The location was fine & Quiet easy to find

The bedding was not clean nor ironed .l asked the host but she indicated did not ion them and l asked for the change of bedding but she told me she had no spare ones.l showed here things she was picking from the bed and it was like someone had just used and has not been changed wasn’t impressed by her response
