Waste of time

Breakfast and staff.

They absolutely false advertised on their website regarding just about everything. Said they would provide a free bottle with the room, did not. No staff there overnight and we were the only ones in a huge building without a warning alone. The wine was laughable. Would never stay here again.

beautiful place, great rooms and great staff

have a beautiful indoor space but left guests the option to listen to live music outside in very cold weather with one fire that didn’t have space for everyone. Additional fire spot was on your own with wet smoky wood, no help…..so after being cold and smoky we just headed in. The singer came in on break and wrapped up in a coat. We love Deer Creek, this has never been our experience, hope they maintain prior great service.

watch for deer along the drive - they could ruin your experience if you hit one with your car.

the location is very remote. you kinda expect things to be different. Check-in carried a surcharge if we got there after 7:00. Also the kitchen closed early. the whole experience is not customer focused, but rather things are done so that the staff as the focus.

room wasn't ready - well, ready but things didn't work (TV). We were moved to another room. The room had a hot tub, but that not a "bonus" if you don't want to use it.

It was a cute vacility. Dinning area was cute, but not real comfortable.

The staff was not very knowledgeable. They were very confused of the day to day services. I still have not received my refund from a Bingo that they were to have held on the Tuesday we were there. I was told when checking out, I didn't owe anything then I was charged over $76 on my credit card. I thought they had taking the reimbursement for the 2 Bingo tickets and deducted it from what we owed. But, no! We just got charged for the $76 which was nit authorized by me.

Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. The room was spacious and the hot tub was awesome. They took the time to personalize a greeting on your breakfast table. There was entertainment. It was very relaxing and inviting. They really didn't miss a single detail.

Not really a huge problem or anything but there is only 1 designated smoking area on the property. With all of the outdoor space it would have been nice to have one or two more areas to be closer to where you were maybe sitting.

A great place for a quiet getaway to connect with your spouse and relax.

The location is set back in the quiet country and I loved that. We chose a room with an in room jacuzzi to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. We loved the free bottle of wine in our room. And enjoyed our choices for a nice steak dinner and build your own breakfast with mimosas. We live an hour away, and it felt like the perfect getaway not too far from home.

It was nice. Nice little place to get away for a day or so. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly. Very quiet place, relaxing vibes. I am not a wine drinker but I found something I really liked.

I found the beds too soft but that is normal for me no matter where I go.

Very poor

Let me just start by saying I’ve never written a poor review, but I’m so disappointed. Im really bummed about the service here. The staff member that checked me in barely tried to be welcoming or hospitable. I get it, I work in the hospitality business as well, some days are tough. There was a note saying I could trade the complimentary wine given for a wine of my choice. When I went downstairs to politely ask for a trade from the red I was given to a white wine of their recommendation, I was treated like I was being annoying. When my hot water / water pressure/ AND WiFi didn’t work in my room, the same staff member came to try to help and acted unconcerned and didn’t even offer an apology on the inns behalf. They left to attempt to fix the issue and I didn’t hear back for 40 minutes. I then called the front desk to say I’ll be fine for the night (I was completely exhausted as I drove from Chicago). When leaving in the morning, I told the woman on duty my experience, she acted uninterested.
