Polished and sophisticated, this 3BR/2BA beach beauty indulges you in luxury and comfort with quick and easy access to the white sand beaches of St. George Island. Situated inside the gated community of the St. George Plantation, you will find yourself immersed in the beauty of the natural vegetation and lulled by the soft hues of this comfortable and inviting beach cottage.
The first level houses the main living area with open kitchen, living and dining spaces and 3 large, sliding glass doors which open onto a spacious and furnished sundeck looking out toward sparkling Gulf waters. The living room offers 2 large sofas, inviting you to sink in and relax after a long day at the beach or to enjoy a movie with family on the 50’ TV w/ DVD player. A Bose stereo streams your choice of music and vaulted ceilings add to the airiness of the space.
The dining table seats up to 8, with additional seating for 4 at the breakfast bar. A nearby writing desk is the perfect location to setup a laptop or to simply journal the days activities and beach memories….don’t forget to sign our guest book! Just beyond the dining area is a room dedicated to leisure and doubles as an excellent reading nook or game space….a comfortable spot for the kiddos to begin a board game as lunch or dinner is prepared nearby.
The beautifully designed kitchen boasts granite countertops and a large, stainless steel sink. Upgraded appliances, a fully stocked kitchen and an open-shelving concept all combine to make an enjoyable cooking experience while a convenient wet bar adds to the ease of cocktail hour.
Just past the main living area are 2 inviting master bedrooms each with large, walk-in closets, and Smart TVs. The first spacious Master suite offers a King-sized bed and private bathroom with separate vanity area. The second Master suite has a comfortable King-sized bed and bathroom that opens from either the bedroom or the hallway for added convenience, also with a separate vanity area. Both bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans for your comfort and have brand new mattresses September 2022.
The top floor not only offers a 360 degree, panoramic view of the Gulf and lush vegetation, but is also an enjoyable space for children, teenagers or a small family. Two single beds, 1 double and a soft-to-the-touch single velvet futon allows for plenty of sleeping accommodations while a game table and flat screen TV w/ DVD player can occupy the senses as nightfall approaches.
For further convenience, you will find a hot/cold, enclosed outdoor shower to rinse off the salt and sand after a long day spent frolicking at the beach, as well as a fish cleaning table to prepare your catch of the day.
Under-house parking is available for up to 2 vehicles with an oversized parking area on the north side of the .5 acre property for boats or additional vehicles. A full size washer and dryer can be found in the ground-level storage room.
The community beach boardwalk is easily accessible, just a few steps down the residential street and The Plantation Clubhouse is just a short stroll from our home (only 1 street over!). This amazing state-of-the-art Clubhouse offers amenities that include a fitness center, tennis court and Olympic-sized community POOL, all available to our guests.

Lovely house. Great location, beach access across the street. It was nice to be inside The Plantation community. We didn’t realize that there are areas on the island that can only be accessed from inside The Plantation so that was a happy accident for us.

My wife and I enjoy visiting St. George Island when it is winter at home. This cottage was the perfect retreat for us with additional room for another couple to join us. The upstairs has sleeping room for children and others. There are 2 master bedrooms with master bathrooms. The upstairs guests would need to use one of the easily accessible master bathrooms. There are 2 convenient beach access walkways in front of the cottage. The Plantation is safe and the environment was quiet during our visit. My only concern is that the internet service and cell phone service at the cottage is very weak. This is a great place to go offline, but don’t expect to work from this location. We will be returning.

We had a very enjoyable stay at At Last. There were lots of books,puzzles,kitchen utensils, things like that. While it was not beach front we could see the water which was nice. Deck was great. Our only criticism was the Internet/tv was out until Monday....not good when an NFL playoff game is on but the technician was able to get things up and running, however you could only use streaming on the tv which we did not have and the dvd player on the main tv did not work, fortunately we had brought our own. It was an inconvenience but not enough to make us not was to stay there again. We do plan to rebook for next year. Enjoyed eating at the Beach Pit and the Blue Parrot

We visit St. George Island every year for Thanksgiving. You cannot go wrong on the plantation with beautiful beaches, biking, tennis, and bay access. We have stayed in several homes on the plantation and At Last definitely a favorite. We have rented this home multiple times. Close to the clubhouse and beach access. Forgotten Shores is always a great company to work with.

Everything worked so we didn’t. This is our 25th annual St George Island visit. This home is spacious and ideal for two couples. Sure the house with all its amenities will accommodate more We chose to not do that. And just relax.

Beautiful home! Clean and well maintained. I don't say that lightly because I was a hotel manager for 30+ years and rarely does a rental meet my standards, but this one did. There were only two in our party and we each enjoyed a separate bedroom and bathroom. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the home, so plenty of privacy. We did not use the upstairs, but did see how that would be great for a family (though anyone sleeping upstairs would have to use one of the downstairs bathrooms, which are attached to the bedroom areas).
The color scheme of white/neutral decor is very brave for a rental! As adults we loved it.
We also appreciated that the house is tucked away from the road, and surrounded by trees. Again, privacy from nearby homes.

The house was definitely not what I would consider clean. The floors were definitely dirty. The vacuum at the house didn’t function correctly. We sprayed the house down with lysol, and cleaned the bathrooms before using. I am not sure why, but at night the queen bedroom doesn’t seem to stay cool. We would wake up sweating in the night. The location is great, and house would be fine if it had a good deep clean and a few updates. I am thinking the floors couldn’t be cleaned good bc of the lack of cleaning equipment. FYI the washer and dryer is outside in garage closet. It wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but you do have to go outside. It’s super hot.

Our visit to At Last in early June 2022 was very nice. We found the property to be updated in some areas and needing an update in others. Overall the property was nice and there were no major issues. The main living area and kitchen have been mostly updated is was very nice. The two bathrooms are in need of updating, but we had no problems with them. And it would be great to find a way to relocate the W/D into the main home.

The house was as pictured/described. Bedrooms were good size with comfy beds. Kids loved the area upstairs. Was almost like having two family rooms. Beach and clubhouse were very close/convenient. We were there the week before Memorial Day, so was very quiet and not crowded until final Saturday night when everyone arrived for the holiday weekend. There was a bad outlet in the bedroom that I called about and never heard back. Also, we don't go on vacation to watch TV, but the cable or Internet TV or whatever they had was pretty much unwatchable. Kept glitching/pausing/stopping no matter the channel or which TV you used throughout the house.
