Cannot express how beautiful the setting of this property is! The view alone was enough for me to give 5 stars. The cottage is small but has everything you need. Healdsburg is just a short drive and there are a number of great wineries just around the corner. I hope to go back soon!

The Nest is tucked away in a beautiful garden overlooking vineyards as far as the eye can see. Tiny inside, it nonetheless boasts a king-size bed with the most comfortable mattress, a kitchen area and functional bathroom. Someone had paid attention to the small details prividing a make-up mirror, a night light and furniture that’s easy to re-arrange to suit your needs. The only thing I would suggest is tw o chaise lounges on the side porch. The Adirondack chairs are miserable after five minutes. But, all in all, a very magical little “nest”.

Well maintained properties.
Quiet and secluded.
Loved sitting on the porch with the constant breeze arriving from over the neighboring vineyard.
Excellent launch point to the local wineries, Healdsburg and the Pacific Coast.
Bathroom is tiny as noted in other posts. Shower may not be large enough for people over 200 lbs.....
No complaints.
Excellent communication with owner.
Well stocked for what we needed which was just breakfast snacks and drinks, to include coffee.

The Good
The cottage was very cozy. The gardens are amazing. Great location for exploring different areas, from Napa to the Coast. We almost had the place to ourselves. Enjoyed coffee each morning on the deck with the smell of flowers, pollinators doing their thing, and quiet. At least that is how it felt...until
The Bad
There is a vineyard right below the cottage. We were awoken around 3 or 4 am, on thr 3rd night, to a tractor and a very high pitched noise. This lasted for about an hour. At first we thought it was a siren due to a wildfire thay had started the day we arrived. Not the owners fault by any means. Just be aware that this is farm country.
The last morning we were awoken a bit early to mowing and very noisy leaf blowers. It was very irritating. Couldn't enjoy the last morning on the deck. We actually hurried to checkout due to this. Would have been nice to know this was going to happen. Not a great way to finish the vacation in our opinion.
All and all. We recommend the place. Just be sure to check with the owners on what is happening on the property. They are a wedding venue, so understand the need for ground care.

We thoroughly loved staying here!!!

We went to Healdsburg to visit friends and enjoy the sunny weather. We were delighted with the beautiful vineyard views and comfortable cottage, spacious deck, and many other amenities that the host provided. Being in nature was so relaxing that we spent most of our time at the cottage.

There's a reason why there's so many 5 star reviews. Can't wait to come back and stay at Ru's farm again.

Lovely cottage for our extended weekend stay. Beautiful facility, quiet, clean and 5 minutes from downtown Healdsburg. We will stay here again if we come back! The bathroom and shower is small ( we didn’t mind but it is tight). Host was very kind and communication about check-in/ check-out was super easy!

The good:
Checkin was very easy. Bed was excellent. Grounds were pretty. Plenty of space to park our bikes out in front of the cottage. Easy bike into town and over to the winery areas. Short drive into town to all the outrageously priced boutiques. Good restaurants.
The not so good:
This cottage is very SMALL, especially the bathroom. Yes the description says small, but until you’re in it you don’t realize how small. We are not big people.
It says “newly renovated” but keep in mind it is not insulated. We didn’t find it “cozy”. The weather became somewhat unseasonably cool while we were there (April) and the gas heater is completely inadequate to heat the bathroom on the other side of the room. The bathroom was freezing all the time. The was no mention in our check in letter about the electric space heater way on the top shelf in the closet. We only discovered it as we were leaving. If you leave the gas heater on while you are gone all day or overnight, you’ll end up with a sauna. So, I would not recommend this place during cooler weather. It is not “cozy” when cool. Would be fine in the summer when you can enjoy the porch. We didn’t spend any time out there due to rain and cool temps. We are not high maintenance people and have camped throughout our lives. This was like camping.

This cozy cottage is nestled within beautiful and scenic grounds with a fabulous view of the vineyards below. You have a great sense of privacy and security, and the right ambience to enjoy romantic nights seated outside on the Adirondack chairs sipping wine or other beverages. The king bed is very comfortable for a great night's rest for the day ahead for exploring all that Healdsburg offers. The host, Lele, is very friendly and approachable, which adds to the joy of renting this accommodation for getaways. We came here for our anniversary and will consider coming again for other occasions.

Sweet 1BR/1BA cottage on a working farm about 10-15 min. drive into Healdsburg. Very nice amenities like bedding, large throw, 2 chairs, table, small fridge, kitchenware. Small gas furnace--takes almost an hour to warm up comfortably. Tiny bathroom with shower but no counter for toiletries. Downside was bed was too soft and lumpy. Porch area w/ BBQ, table & chairs--didn't use due to rain.

We absolutely loved our stay! It was a charming cottage overlooking the vineyards with a fireplace to keep us cozy. The grounds were beautiful and it was a fantastic location close to Healdsburg shopping and dining and close to many great wineries. A perfect couples getaway for a wine country getaway.

Spectacular property, rustic but lovely and comfortable inside, we couldn't have enjoyed it more. Check it/out was a breeze. We'll definitely be back.

This one room cottage had everything you need for a short stay. The bed is super cozy and the views are beautiful. It is a short dive to town and right in the middle of wine country.

Really great spot for a couple. Ideal and quiet farm location to stay at. Its also just a short distance from town. Nice little cottage it was perfect for myself and my wife.

My best friend and I had a lovely time at the cottage. The bed was cozy and the grounds were beautiful! During the day, we walked into town. After dark, it was a very short drive.

Cute little cottage near Healdsburg on a pretty property. Five minute drive to downtown.

The Nest was perfect for our two-night stay in the fall. The corner fireplace kept the morning chill at bay, while the porches were perfect for an afternoon read in the sun. The views of neighboring vineyards was incredible. Everything was well appointed, and the location is so convenient to Downtown Healdsburg. The bathroom is tiny, but the hosts are upfront about this, so nothing unexpected. We definitely will be back!

Quiet. Did not see another soul on the property

I don’t know if I will enough space to tell you how wonderful our stay was. It was our first time visiting wine country and Lele (host) did not disappoint with all her amazing recommendations. The property grounds are absolutely gorgeous. You will find grape vines, fruit trees, olive trees, and the most beautiful landscaping. The pictures on the listing don’t come close to how beautiful this cottage is in person. The cottage is perfectly equipped with everything you need to have a relaxing time. The views from the wrap around deck and the kitchenette were breathtaking. The bed is like a dream! I have never slept as good as I did that week. We initially had plans to go to other parts of Sonoma and Napa, but with hundreds wineries with in minutes of the cottage, we stayed local. If you book, be sure to check out Bella and book the immersive experience, you won’t regret it. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and helpful. This place is truly magical. I cannot wait to go back!

Well-appointed cabin with beautiful views, an amazingly comfortable bed and close proximity to town and wineries.

Fresh white paint outside, rows of vineyards next door, calm grounds and stately, historic barn alongside walking paths, and spotless interior with a comfortable new bed and just enough sitting area--everything one needs for an effortless getaway. We made the best coffee we've had with the new, electric pour-over pot, found great dining and bakery suggestions from the hosts, and we definitely did not want to leave after two sunny days. Thank you Lele and LJ!

After a long drive and busy day, arriving at the aptly named “Nest” was like stepping into a cozy hug. The cottage is one of just two rentals on the property - which includes a private event space used several months of the year - and the outdoor “curb appeal” lived up to all the charm of the photos, set off from the property’s main driveway by a wooden gate and curved pathway winding through a small garden… leading up to a quaint wraparound porch. The cottage interior may not be huge (bathroom micro-vanity, I’m lookin’ at you!), but the overall living space was actually ample room for two. The view of the vineyard is picture-perfect - and since we arrived after dark, provided a special wow when opening the shades in the morning. The Adirondack chairs overlooking the vineyard were the perfect place for coffee in the morning and a pre-dinner glass of wine. We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Nest. The location was convenient and the grounds were absolutely stunning. While not a large space, it is thoughtfully appointed. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This is a perfect place to stay for a single person or couple! Gorgeous views from the wraparound porch, with Adirondack chairs, thoughtful amenities like locally sourced coffee and toiletries. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the property is amazing. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Healdsburg!

This is a cozy cottage excellent for a couple who appreciate a small space in a great location. The cottage is clean and tiny, but perfectly adequate. Much more space outside on a be wrap around deck surrounded by herb garden, vineyards, in wonderful setting. Quiet setting just 5 minutes from downtown Healdsburg and the doorstep to Russian River River Valley and Dry Creek Valley vineyards. Just a bit further to Alexander Valley. Would stay again.

First of all, it is called the nest which is so appropriate. It is cozily tiny, but we had everything we needed: little kitchen with coffee cups and wine glasses (no stove
which was no problem! Who wants to cook anyway?), nice tv, and a very comfortable bed. I booked based on the outside. The Nest has a wrap around porch with beautiful views of gorgeous landscaping and of green vineyards. We enjoyed the sun setting on the vineyard every night. We met Leighann while strolling the grounds, and what a delight she is. After inquiring about any needs we might have, she let us peek at the only other rental visible to us, The Coop. We fell in love! Anyone who wants a family getaway with peace and quiet, the beautifully appointed Coop is for you. Modern with rustic touches, the Coop has a dream kitchen, gorgeous dining area, and cozy, but elegant living room. This is a house with lots of room and rooms that invite you to relax. As the Nest is little and cozy, the Coop is a home with lots of outdoor decks with a hot tub with views of great landscaping and vineyards, a grill (which we had at the Nest as well), and a large patio table nestled under a sweet trellised pergola. Large windows are everywhere you look, so it’s light and bright and spotlessly clean. I am a recent widow so the privacy and soothing atmosphere was just what I needed. Each residence is private, large separate gates beddecked with vines… I’ve used up my space, so go and see for yourself. ❤️

Very nice. The place is small, as expected. Conveniently located to downtown Healdsburg and the wineries. But far enough out of town that it is quiet.

My schedule only allowed a 2 night stay here while in the area. But so worth it! Charming cottage & surrounding gardens & vineyard vista! And the most comfortable bed & linens I've slept in! So close to town (Healdsburg) & enjoyed a couple meals at Braves & Barndiva on final night. Both were recommendations when I booked this cottage. Was partly a work trip so didn't have time to visit town during the day but, would love to on a return trip. Thank you for a wonderful couple days away! Surpassed my expectations :)

What a delightful little cottage and the perfect spot to spend a long weekend in wine country! The cottage was a quick drive into town, had easy access to the highway, and was truly the perfect quiet location I was hoping for. The grounds here are lovely and there are killer views of the surrounding vineyards. I’ll definitely e staying here again during future visits to the area. Really a great place for one or two people looking for a quiet spot close to Healdsburg!

Though small, a beautiful and relaxing cottage close to the Dry Creek Valley and downtown Healdsburg. Would recommend if you are going wine tasting.

The “Nest” is the best place that we have stayed in Sonoma. We would get up early each morning and hike nearby at Shiloh Springs Regional Park. Then on the way back we would stop at Quail and Condor for bread/goodies. We enjoyed the French Press and Fellow water heater and would enjoy our breakfast on the back porch overlooking the vineyard.
We always find our way to the Healdsburg Market on Saturday morning for gourmet foods and beautiful produce. We also check out the Bohemian Creamery for great cheeses.
It was delightfully cool in the mornings and late evenings so we could open the screened windows and enjoy the country air.

Cute little cottage. Peaceful, clean, comfortable, and private. Great location to visit local vineyards! First day was really hot so we sat on side deck and let the wind tunnel cool us off while we enjoyed the view. We loved our stay!

This magical cottage is absolute perfection! Every detail was flawless, from local whole bean coffee, to the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Waking up to birds chirping, with views of vineyards from the Adirondack chairs on the deck, was the perfect way to spend a few days in wine country. I can’t wait to stay here again!
