About this house rental

Our home is a unique A-frame style lake house located on beautiful Lake Hartwell. We offer a family friendly home with amazing views. A gentle slope to the lake with a dock for swimming or fishing. A large deck, that can be enjoyed day and night, outdoor grill, plus 2 kayaks. Our home is an open floor plan with an unobstructed view of the lake. The main floor features a fully equipped kitchen with laundry area, dining area for 8, a great room with a sleeper sofa, stone fireplace, a bedroom (queen) and a full bathroom. The second floor features a sitting room with a sleeper sofa and a second bedroom (queen) and a full bathroom.

Lake Hartwell is 56,000 acres where you can enjoy all aspects of water sports, fishing, and swimming. We are minutes from Tugaloo State Park (hiking, miniature golf, volley ball), Harbor Light Marina (boat rental available), the Poplar Springs Boat Launch and historic Lavonia where quaint shops and restaurants offer a pleasant change from the hustle and bustle of the city. Also a 30-minute drive will take you Commerce, GA--home to the Tanger Outlets--or to Clemson, SC.

We provide linens/bath towels. Washer and dryer on site for your convenience.

Stay was great, house was just like the photos, clean and comfortable. Loved seeing the deer walk by the back deck every morning and evening. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Lake Hartwell! The home was beautiful. The back of the house windows, the view of deer, birds, and the lake were breathtaking. The house had a lot of personality and was clean. The check-in and checkout instructions were easy and clear. We would absolutely stay at this location again!

Nice house on Lake Hartwell. We caught bass and catfish off dock. Neighbors are close by and could hear them but overall we had a great stay.

My family was in town to attend a Clemson graduation for the daughter of our close family friends. The location of this house was very quiet and peaceful, and the views of the lake were outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed waking up and looking outside and enjoying the beauty of the lake. The beds were very comfortable, and we all slept great. I didn't read all the details and missed the fact that we needed to bring our own soap to shower, but that's on me. We bought some the next day. We couldn't figure out how to work the coffee maker. We're not sure if it was user error or if it actually wasn't working. I also would have liked to have had an iron and ironing board. Since we were going to graduation, I needed to iron my dress and I incorrectly assumed there would be an iron and ironing board. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Only complaint there was no power to the dock to charge the boat everynight. We brought our generator. Enjoyed our stay.

We needed a house for a fishing tournament and this was above my expectations. The house is in a nice quiet cove with easy access to Tugaloo State park. The house was very clean and had plenty of room for a whole family. I look forward to staying at this house again for any future trips to Hartwell.

We rented this property, specifically to allow my brother and I , to prepare for Seventy48 human powered race. We live in different states and Hartwell Lake was our logical choice. It worked out great ! Thanks for your hospitality.

My family and I didn’t want to leave. Everything was amazing! If you’re looking for a place to heal, to connect with nature and most important with your family, this is the place! From fishing to watching the deers and visiting the Lake Hartwell Safari to just being in the living room looking at the lake was a blast. I will definitely be back. ❤️❤️ Thanks for sharing this amazing and beautiful place with us.

Great cabin. It is very generously stocked with everything from linens to laundry detergent. Beds were very comfortable. Neighborhood was very quiet. Neat seeing deer in backyard in the mornings.

The house and property were beautiful. Loved going out in the morning to see the deer and look out over the lake. Had a fabulous stay, only complaint is the beds are VERY firm. Everything else was fabulous.

The house itself was not only aesthetically pleasing but also boasted great amenities. The decor was tastefully curated, striking a perfect balance between modern elegance and the charm of the natural surroundings. The highlight of this extraordinary stay was undoubtedly the close proximity to the water. The house was thoughtfully equipped with everything one might need for a comfortable and rustic stay. From the fully stocked kitchen to the cozy bedrooms, every detail had been meticulously considered. But what truly set this bed and breakfast apart were the visits from the local deer. Their presence added an enchanting, almost magical touch to the entire experience. I can't recommend this bed and breakfast highly enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well kept home with lovely views. Home is well stocked to meet on your needs for outdoor enjoyment, cooking utensils for cooking both indoors ot out. Quaint town of Lavonia nearby with good restaurants and loved the state park also close by. A special treat was seeing deer crossings periodically during day into dusk. Perfect location and well worth the value of what we paid. Hope to be back again soon. Thank you!

This was our second time staying at this property, and it's just an easy, breezy way to spend a long weekend! The space is perfect for our family of four, plus each kid got to bring a friend. We rented a boat at a nearby marina and also enjoyed swimming/kayaking at the property. We brought additional tree hammocks and enjoyed the outdoor space every day. We love this spot!

Our little family wanted a place that would be special, and to celebrate our last month or so before the newest member of our family arrives. This place delivered! Great kitchen and living room setup, plus the wall of windows was spectacular! Full summer leaves on the trees and you could still see the sunshine sparkling on the lake. The deck was fantastic! Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the view! The walk down and back up from the dock was an easy one even for my pregnant belly, and had lighting to make it even easier at dusk. We enjoyed watching tons of wildlife and floating around in the refreshing water. The bed and pillows were comfy, as was all the ample seating. We will definitely keep this place on our list to come back again!

We came to this beautiful home for my nephew’s graduation and everything from start to finish was perfect! The communication with the property managers and this is very spacious & perfect location! Kayaks & canoes included….great outdoor space & over 11 out of 10 ;) Would definitely stay again!

The property has a Great Lake Home. Gentle sloping to the Dock.I brought my Pontoon boat. Very close to boat landings. Also not far to Harbor Light marina. Has Gas and a Great Bar Restaurant. My little Boston Terrier had a great time too. Management very nice and good communications. I have stayed at several houses on the lake. This is the best! Defiantly going to stay again.

This house is gorgeous and went way beyond our expectations. We caught the last of the dogwood blossoms and enjoyed the light inside from the grand front windows. All the appliances worked well. Kayaking on the calm water and enjoying nature were the highlights for us. Very comfortable place and we plan to come back.

This was a great place to stay for a short get away for Thanksgiving! We had a small feast, did some Black Friday shopping, went to Babyland, watched college football on Saturday, and relaxed. We would 10/10 recommend this place. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are very comfortable, and it is a great place for pets. We would go back again anytime!

We loved the house. It was very cold outside and so we could not do lake activities. The neighborhood is mixed with some nice homes and some trailer homes great if you want a quiet getaway, but not much to do in the area.

Worthy & Beyond We felt so very blessed to have been able to spend time in this most impressive LAKEFRONT Home! Coming from Hurricane Ian ZONE A, we so appreciated the togetherness and peace that the campfire brought. We saw 3 deer! The place has everything it should! A DREAM LAKEHOME! The rainbow on the mountain was sent from above! We can not say enough! THANK YOU!!

We were pleasantly surprised upon entering this lake house. The pictures did not do it justice. What a wonderful week. It is a great place to reconnect with nature and your family or friends. We especially loved swimming and kayaking in the warm clean water of Lake Hartwell. Everyday we had numerous deer, and hummingbirds in our yard. Beautiful Blue heron and ducks to watch daily also. The home is very comfortable and clean. We slept very well on the memory foam mattresses. We found that we had everything we needed to cook and grill meals. The home felt spacious and comfortable. We found places to hike nearby, cute towns and delicious restaurants within 30-40 min drive. Great place to stay!

My husband, two kids and dogs spent three relaxing days in this beautiful place. The house is very well appointed with whimsical “lake house” decor. The HUGE window-wall brings the outside in and provides a beautiful view. The walk to the lake and dock is down the hill. We brought floaties for the kids and they had a great time playing in the water swimming all day. There were no mosquitoes, just bees buzzing around and had no issues. We also saw lots of deer and a friendly neighborhood dog named Rosie who kept us company during our visit. Definitely recommend!!!
