Cabin has all of the necessities needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay near Mount Snow. Furniture and appliances a little dated, but everything works just fine.

Perfect location to Mt. Snow! Tucked in the woods for some privacy, made for a great family getaway.

Great stay. Nicer than the pictures

The house was amazing and we will return to the area, however door lock codes didn’t work for the house. We were locked out every time we left. Customer service for the management company stunk, and their key box was empty! It took us nearly 2 hours to get in, very frustrating process.

We loved the peace and quiet and being surrounded by forest.

Very cute, comfortable cabin a short distance to Mt Snow. It provided all the amenities we needed. Dog friendly and priced great.
It could have been cleaner. When we turned on the ceiling fans they kicked up a lot of dust which activated the kids allergies. The fans need to be cleaned and the home dusted better. The staircase is very steep. Both kids slipped down it. Could use a second railing. Loved the wood fireplace.
Overall we had a wonderful time. We would visit again.

I would be hesitant in recommending this house. As others have mentioned, there is a slight odor noticeable as soon as you walk in. It's a bit dated, which I'm fine with, but having to fight with the utensil drawer to open and not fall on your foot each time is quite annoying. The interior stairs are uneven and seem very unsafe. The driveway, walkways and front steps were complete ice when we arrived. We needed a running start with an all wheel drive SUV just to get up to the house. We did receive snow over night which was great. Anticipating this, we parked so we could go straight down the driveway in the morning if it wasn't plowed. Later that morning I reached out to make sure the driveway would be cleared during the day as there was no way we would be able to get back up. I never heard back. We arrived back at the house after skiing around 5 PM and it seemed this was the only house on the street that wasn't cleared. With no where to park on the street I began walking up to the house to grab a shovel so I could clear a spot on the road. Luckily we saw a plow truck and was able to flag him down to clear the driveway. I'm not sure if he was contracted for that property or not, but he saved me a nightmare of a time shoveling. The location was close to the mountain which was great. A little maintenance and updating would go a long way for making this a great rental.

We had a great time at this cabin just relaxing. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed (except a baking sheet for some reason). It’s a little worn around the edges but just in a homey way that tells you a family has spent a lot of time there. It was spotlessly clean.
My only complaint is that the stairs to the second floor are dangerous. The staircase is open with each step independent of the others. A couple of them are not level, which means you have to be really careful. My daughter slipped on one of the slightly slanted ones and fell about half way down the staircase. She was banged up but ok. Luckily the glass she was carrying didn’t break and cut her.
Despite the wonky stairs, we enjoyed the cabin and would definitely return.

The home was cozy and clean and just the right size for a family of five. Location is great - super close to mount snow and not a bad drive to Stratton. Space to explore outdoors was also fun when we were not skiing.

This was a lovely rental. But I had two safety issues: 1) the kitchen utensil drawer (which is heavy and contained sharp objects) wanted to fall out every time we opened it. 2) We are older adults and the top 4-5 steps on the stairs were not level so we felt we have to be very careful going up or down. We did not want to fall. The other issue is that an animal is getting into the outside garbage and dragging garbage up the hill. My dog kept getting into it until I went out and cleaned one bagful myself. The cleaning people forgot to check inside the oven and I found a pan full of bacon grease in there. I did not know how long it had been there. More dishwasher tablets should be provided for longer stays. I LOVED the fact that a small dish soap container, salt, sugar, spices, coffee filters and plenty of bar soap and pillows and towels were provided. The information about things to do should be updated. Co-Vid put many of the local restaurants out of business it seems. We found the cottage very easily. The beds were comfortable. It is so quite and peaceful and I enjoyed looking at the ferns and flowers in the woods. The location was perfect and we enjoyed going to The Tavern in West Dover a few times. Live music is the best!

Great cabin in the woods!
We loved staying off the beaten path in West Dover VT. The cabin comes with everything you could need: cooking supplies, board games, outdoor furniture, firewood and toiletries. Far enough into the woods where you don’t need or see anyone but close enough to cute towns like Wilmington and Brattleboro if you feel like exploring. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Getaway
We had a long weekend in this house, very comfortable and had all the amenities needed. Off the road and secluded, in the mountains, it was great. Plenty to do within a short distance, we hiked, kayaked and saw amazing views of several mountains.

Snowy Trip in March
The house was great, close to Mt. Snow, three full bedrooms with two beds out in an open area on the second floor. Super clean… Great fire place. Everything you would need for a trip to VT!!!

Clean and scenic
While the home is about a 10min drive to the base of Mount Snow, it's a quaint home in a nice location off the main road. It takes 2 min. to get to Route 100. Very close to the shops in Dover.

Great house
Comfortable, convenient to mt. snow, and clean. Enjoyed our stay very much. Had some precipitation during our visit and appreciated that the homeowner had the driveway sanded promptly.

Cozy mountain home
It was a really nice home that had anything you need while away at the mountains. Wi-Fi was super spotty. That is a problem when you need to make calls and have no service. Also there is quite a lot of cat dander and I am allergic. I felt it on the sofa and the carpets so I had to make sure I covered them with our own blankets that we brought with us. Otherwise everything was spot on. Lots of room, towels, etc. We loved the fireplace! That was our favorite!

Happy with our stay and happy that it was pet-friendly. Would book again. Only recommendation is to add a outdoor grill.

Very nice place!
This was a very nice place. There were 2 problems, the first was that it had a musty Cat odor. The second, was there were cluster/ maggot flies the first night. The 10:00am checkout, was too early. 11, or 12 noon would have been better. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Nice place but smells bad.
We had a great time staying at this house and overall, it was a good place. The main problem with it was the smell. The house is pet friendly and they really mean it. The carpeting must be saturated with lots of pet friendliness, especially in the first floor bedroom closets. We could not put anything in there and had to keep the doors closed and windows open. If you can live with the smell, then everything else about the house is great (although we also wished it had a fire pit outside).

Great stay
Our family and friends (5 adults and 5 kids) rented this house for Memorial Day Weekend. It was an overall great experience. The place was clean and super cute and cozy, just perfect for what we needed. The kitchen had everything that we needed as well. Great location. Quick communication. We will come back!

A great home base as we explored Southern Vermont
I spent 10 days at the cabin with friends and family while we explored the local towns, farmers markets, ski mountains, and breweries. This house worked perfectly as our home base while exploring Brattleboro, Wilmington, Bennington, Manchester, and all the little stops in between. The proximity to Mount Snow and Snow Republic Brewing was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again!
BONUS: There were wild ramps and blackberries in the yard!

Vermont stay
The house is adorable, cozy and spotless. Extremely comfortable. However, our experience with the management company was not good at all. Extremely poor communication. I don’t think I would ever rent another property that is managed by Vacasa, I’m very sorry to say.

Got the bill
A cute little house very close to Mount Snow. Check in was easy, beds were comfortable, and it had everything we needed for cooking and staying entertained. Two negatives were one of the twin beds had old blood stains on the sheets and comforter. The other negative was the very steep driveway… More regular plowing and sanding would have been helpful. But I will definitely stay here again!

No air conditioning! Just fans in the house. Not a great house to rent in the summer!
This house could potentially be a nice place during the winter months for skiing but definitely not for the summer unless they install an air conditioning unit or central air for the entire house especially the loft and upstairs bedrooms.
