About this house rental

La Perla is a 4 bdrm 3 bath Ocean Front Beach Home.
She has a 1 bdrm 1 bath Sky Apartment
with kitchen on the property over looking the Sea of Cortez.
This property can be rented as a 4, or 3 bedroom vacation home.
The large 1 bdrm apartment can be rented as a separate unit. It has it's own access to the beach.
She includes a large Margarita Deck- SHADED. With Charcoal BBQ and sink accessible from the Casita walkway and stairs from the entry courtyard.

La Perla sleeps 15 in beds.
Oceanfront patios upper and lower span the entire length of home providing 24/7 shade, propane and charcoal grill.
This homes has multiple functions for your fun family beach vacation.
The Casita provides privacy as well as a 2nd kitchen for extended family or a fun teenager hideaway! Enjoy the cool breezes coming through the Sky Margarita deck and watch the beautiful sunsets from up above the other houses. The charcoal grill is up on the Margarita deck outside of the Casita. The propane down in the courtyard.
This Vintage Ranch Style home stays cool in the summer and warm during the cooler months. Complete with all new beds and 7 tons of new High efficiency A/C and electric heat.

We had a great time at La Perla. It's about 15 minutes past Las Conchas. We drove the road at night which can be a little tricky. The extra wait was worth it. Great house for a family trip. 14 beds total! The house was comfortable and functional. Every room has an individual AC unit which is great in the summer! The patio had plenty of seating for us. The beach was beautiful, clean, and unpopulated. Overall we had a great weekend here.

Spacious, clean, great open beachfront views from home and patios and an upper shaded deck too. Host let us stay for a discounted price because there was only 2 of us. The rest of the family was next door and we just needed another room. Thank you for the very nice staycation!

The property was perfect for our group. The inside was clean and had everything we needed. The exterior of the home had a few items that need fixed. The exterior upstairs grill needs repairing and the patios need to be cleaned. Other than these few issues, we had a great time at this property.

Playa Encanto is the best beach in puerto Peñasco / rocky point! Not many people on the beach so it’s nice and secluded. We have stayed numerous times at La Perla and it’s an awesome house! Has everything you need and a separate casita if you want to book that as well. Highly recommend the property. The host is very accommodating as well. Clean property. Looking forward to coming back!

Really nice well kept home. Kim and husband very respectful and responsive to anything we needed. The beach was a very low key and not as busy as around the resorts which is great and more peace at mind when having the children but you still get the vendors that come through which is great.

The house and location were amazing. The beach is so beautiful and clean. There are no rocks on the beach and the sand was so soft. It's the perfect beach to wake up early and take a relaxing walk. You can find so many cool sea shells (my daughter loves it) now the house.... it's very cozy and comfortable, it gives you the feeling of being at home. The kitchen isn't the biggest but it was still very nice. We cooked dinner every night we were there. Master bedroom had very large bed with a bunk bed and its own restroom. Second bedroom had two smaller beds and shared restroom with 3rd bedroom which had two bunk beds(children's room). There is a separate apartment that we had access to which was very nice except for the fact that there were 2 bunk beds in there we would have rather had one larger bed and a bunk bed or just one bed in there but we made it work. Overall we would very much stay here again. Kim and barney answered any questions promptly and made sure we had plenty of drinking water also. There were 12 of us and had no problems with running low or running out of water for the property. Highly recommended. *no washer or dryer

So much room & the set-up is amazing for families/little kids. Everything you need for cooking is already there & they even have blenders! The iron fence that is pictured (that closes in the cars) is no longer there but the neighborhood is so super safe & it wasn’t a big deal to us.

Loved this place! The beach is sandy no rocks which is a huge plus. Took my toddler to celebrate his 5th birthday and we all enjoyed the house. Town is not that far of a drive. Vendors come too you so it’s still easy to enjoy a fruit bowl or a Pina colada on the beach. We will definitely be returning for bike week.

The house had enough beds to sleep our 15 guests comfortably. The beach was amazing without any rocks. It was a little further from town (about 20-25 min) than we normally stay but it was very quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed renting from Kim and we will definitely rent from her again!

We had a great time at La Perla. This was our first trip to Rocky Point and we will definitely be back again. We had the beach to ourselves and enjoyed everything about Playa Encanto. It was close enough to restaurants, shopping, and the city, but it was far enough away to not have the hustle and bustle of the city, and get the relaxation and peace of the quite beach. It was the best of both worlds.

Beach house big & spacious, super clean & kitchen was fully stocked, fresh drinking/cooking water dispenser. Lots of clean towels & fresh bed linens, beds comfy. Host very responsive & sent detailed driving directions, and AC remote & stove instructions. (will need this to turn on, as it's not a regular U.S. type stove). AC worked great & TV in living room area of main house. Only issue we had was getting the tv to work in casita, (kept asking for USB card), so we were never able to get it going or figure it out. Back patio large & shady with lots of tables & chairs. Amazing views of the ocean. We enjoyed our stay & would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing beach vacation!

Playa Encanto is a drive away from town, but the sandy flat beach is worth it. The house is designed to host a lot of people--bunk beds in every room--without being cramped. The kitchen had all the necessities for cooking. Once we got settled in, we never left the house again.

The property was very clean and had plenty of space for a group of 17 people! We absolutely loved how close to the water we were and even how comfortable the beds were. The property manager is amazing and kept us up to date with all the details needed about the reservation. The area is very peaceful and you still get some of the local entertainment from the vendors with fruit, banana rides, etc. We love puerto Penasco and will definitely be coming back to La Perlas!

We Vrbo every year with the same group in Penasco. I am dissapointed it took me this long to find the perfect house in the perfect neighborhood. The beach, are you kidding me. The photos do not do This home justice. The photos should be 3/4 of house and 26 of the beach. Owner had a friggin fire pit to! Normally the las conchas houses we rent have so many stairs that we are always reluctant to have beach fires. But not here. Lanai,beach are same level. Cooper hooked us up with tomales, tortillas, and firewood. When I come back I’m coming here so don’t rent in June people! That’s reserved for the Rae’s

We highly recommend staying here. We had 18 in our party and were not crowded at all. There was plenty of room and space for all of us. The house was well stocked and very clean. The beach was beautiful and it was so nice to have it right out our back door. We will definitely be returning. Kim was so helpful and accommodating. She thought of everything and helped take the stress out of planning a trip. It was a relaxing, fun and memorable vacation.

La Perla; this review starts and ends with Kim and Barney our hosts. Their work ethic and professionalism made our trip so enjoyable. If you have questions and you call or text you get immediate response. They live just a few miles from their properties. They came by to see us after we checked in to see if we needed anything. The property we stayed in La Perla, is right on the beach. The home is so clean and well stocked with kitchen wares to make your stay perfect. I could go on and on about Kim and this property. I have been coming to Rocky Point for 40 years and never had a better experience. La Perla exceeded all our needs. Kim has several other properties to choose from.
