About this house rental

Fantastic house for two families or friends wanting to holiday together. The five bedrooms include a bunkroom downstairs with its own bathroom and a self contained flat with a queen bed and ensuite. Upstairs there are great views from the living areas and the spacious front deck plus three bedrooms and two more bathrooms - the master bedroom has an ensuite. There are five TVs one of which is set up for a Play Station (in the downstairs self coantained area). This area is obviously perfect for children or teenagers. The back deck has a ping pong table. This great beach house is walking distance to Home Beach and the pub and allows for maximum 8 adults.

All up, there are 4 bathrooms, Dishwasher, microwave, WIFI, DVD Players, FOXTEL, auto washing machine, dryer, gas BBQ on the deck. Internal split level steps.

Linen Supplied and beds are made for your convenience.

It could do with a tidy/freshen up, like the furniture and having one wine glass etc.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a nice stay here recently. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Lovely view from the balcony. The bunk bed was not super comfortable. The house was in a great location though the driveway was very steep and not practical for parking a car in the garage. The house was lacking in cleanliness in some areas. Under the beds and couches were particularly dirty. A backyard would have been well utilised as we had young children staying. Overall, we did enjoy our stay at this properly.

Excellent balcony, beautiful view and large living areas. Internet and Foxtel provided. Plenty of beds, cookware, plates for large groups. It was quite dusty and not cleaned well. Some of the rooms get very hot as you can't leave the door open because they aren't secure and can be accessed from the road. The fans provided aren't effective and the curtains are sheer so let a lot of morning sun in.

The furniture in the bunk room and the downstairs unit needs attention as it is could become dangerous and the airflow downstairs is very stifling. despite this we still had a fabulous holiday and have booked for our sons wedding and will continue to book as it really is a great home with all the amenities and supplies needed.

Beautiful views, walking distance to beaches on each side of the island for all weather swimming. Cool and plenty of rooms and bathrooms.

Unfortunately there are a few things that need updating :Oven, the seal needs replacing Vacuum would be very helpful Double bed in the middle room upstairs is extremely uncomfortable Queen bed downstairs needs a decent mate and not a cheap foam mattress

Reviewer Comments: The staff at Ray White were very helpful, friendly and professional at all times. The property 19A George Nothling Drive was in a great location. Nice views and very spacious. However.... This house needs some money spent on it. It needs a deep clean of basic things like window venetians (dirty) fans, window and door tracks. Dirty and off the hinges. Tops of kitchen cupboards were dirty dusty, as were light fittings. The oven and cook plate were greasy. Light bulbs in some areas did not work. Some of the bedding eg spare blankets and doona were marked and stained. The owners need to allocate some money for this property.

You can fit multiple families and it's walking distance to the beach.

Reviewer Comments: Property had a good layout particularly for two families with the downstairs kitchen proving useful. The property was reasonably well stocked with utensils, movies, books etc. And has a great collection of boardgames. However, there was a high amount of broken items such as multiple faulty sliding doors, missing door handles, broken main tv, broken oven door etc. Also there was a fairly severe cockroach issue particularly downstairs.

Good location but definitely wouldn’t stay again. Pros: close to Cylinders Beach (easy walking distance) & good layout with lots of space for a large group or family (we were 8 adults with 2 infants and there was ample space). Cons: house needs a thorough deep clean, it’s absolutely filthy apart from the main elements (linen, bathrooms). Pretty much all internal and external doors & windows are broken and don’t open easily (a 7 month old baby got locked in one of the rooms alone due to the handle being broken). The garden was completely overgrown, the back entertaining area was too dirty to use, all windows are covered in dirt and cobwebs, the downstairs area smelt strongly of mould and had mould on the walls. The road is also extremely busy with hundreds of loud 4WDs & trucks going past all day as it’s a main thoroughfare on the island. There was also not enough basic cleaning products for the 5 nights we booked.

Our 5-day stay was too short. We wish we could have booked longer. The house set up, location, the view is perfect for us. The house was very clean and all the appliances we need were provided. It’s like 2 minutes walk to the beach so it’s perfect to do walking early in the morning. We can watch the whales from our deck.

Located just near the beach and pub, this comfortable, beautiful and spacious holiday house is clean and provides you great views.The staff at Ray White are very helpful and the booking and check in process are quick and easy. The house provides you with a very comfortable stay, has good rooms, a large kitchen and 2 living rooms and a fantastic deck with ocean views.Our overall experience was awesome.Highly recommended.

We've just finished a stay for a week and this property was great to accomodate 3 couples, an extra adult and 4 kids. We'd definitely come back. Only issue we had was the early checkout time of 9am.

We stayed here with two of our children and grandchildren . Perfect for a couple of families . Plenty of space and nice ocean views . We would stay here again . Only complaint was the security lights on the neighbours place shined into the bedrooms .
