Staff was very friendly. I loved that the room came with a binder full of local suggestions and a room-by-room listing of songs that have been composed in the hotel. Super comfy retro spaces. Easy parking. Central, walkable location. Firepit available. I appreciated the personal touch of all the little notes in different places around the room to let us know the best outlets to use for the fridge... how the drapery pulls work... etc.
The air inside felt a little damp, but we also had some rainy days. No real complaints.

The updated retro style comfortable beds and bedding
The employee or owner was not particularly welcoming and information r/t being loud you would be asked to leave was repeated excessively.

Location, kind staff, clean cute rooms.
The mattress... Hard as a rock.

The Holiday Music Hotel is one of a kind and fantastic. The vintage, mid-century vibe was like nowhere I’ve ever stayed, and with all modern amenities included. I love that I was able to bring my dog, too. The owner was helpful and welcoming and lives on premises to help out with anything at any hour. The location was perfect— in sight of the historic steel bridge and the water and one block from all the restaurants and shops of Third St. I plan to stay here any time I return to Door County.
Everything was great.

We loved all of it Great retro hotel Staff was very nice and accommodating
There was absolutely nothing we didn't like about this hotel

The little diner was cute with coffee and tea but there was no breakfast.
LOVED the little clips to hold the curtains closed. That's always an issue for me as I don't like light coming through curtains that don't close all the way. Ingenious!
More shelves in the bathroom.

At this property there is no breakfast. Myself and my friends were so happy this is the protperty we chose to stay at in Sturgeon Bay. The owners were so very accomodating, the rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable, and the location was close for us to a walk across the bridge and to the coffee shop. We liked the retro vibe of the hotel.

So much character, love all the little notes telling you how stuff works (we’ve all been in that hotel where we can’t figure out how the shower works), perfect location, I wish I could live here.
Nothing.

Cute retro spot with good staff. Great location
Should have brought my own pillows- theirs were very hard. Bathroom sink leaked non stop. Given the holiday weekend they couldn’t fix it.

Quite charming and clean. Near shopping and restaurants

Don't judge a book by its cover. The outside is not real appealing, but the room was super clean, the bed great, and the little amenities were wonderful.
Just the looks of the outside.

Love the location and decor of the place. The staff there was super friendly and I would highly recommend staying there and plan to in the future. My wife and I loved the 50s and music retro theme. We also loved that it’s locality owned and not some major hotel chain
My only issue is a minor one. Due to retro theme there’s a lack of counter space in the bathroom and a lack of an elevator. The hotel attempted to stay retro by adding a medicine cabinet and shelves to help, and it did help and kept the very cool 50s retro theme

There was no free breakfast as in many other motels; however food truck immediately next door is open for breakfast. Location close to the business district, close to the bay. The major feature we enjoyed was the property's uniqueness and the friendliness of the staff. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable.
The building and room decor were vintage 50s and what I called a blast from the past.
Good enough location for touring the entire door county area.
No complaints, the property met our needs and expectations.

Very clean 50s style motel in a fantastic location. Within walking distance to shops and eateries and local museums. Bridge into Sturgeon Bay right across the street. Could walk across bridge to harbor, maritime museum and local attractions. Motel has a fair amount of 50s memorabilia inside the small lobby area and the rooms. Motel has a nice vibe.
They have a breakfast area downstairs but because of Covid they couldn't provide anything to eat. You could use the area for your own food and they supplied silverware, plates and cups for tea. They didn't have a coffee maker in the area but an appliance for heating water for tea. Just a minor inconvenience and nothing to suggest you shouldn't stay here. Staff is very helpful. Nicest I've come across in a while.
