Envie de revenir....

Le gite est bien situé, facile d’accès avec plusieurs places de parkings (un commun + 1 place devant chaque logement) A l’arrivée, vous trouverez une boite de biscuit et une bouteille de cidre au frais (désolé de gâcher la surprise 😊) Nous sommes venu hors saison, ce qui fait qu’il n’y a pas grand monde dans la région. A l’intérieur, tout le confort moderne, le gite a été refait il y a quelques années et tout a été pensé. Electroménager complet, plaques au gaz + 1 électrique, microondes, cafetière Senseo, lave-vaisselle (prévoir lessive), aspirateur. Chaque chambre donne sur la piscine couverte et chauffée. Au même endroit il y a un salon avec un grand écran ainsi qu’une buanderie (le jour de notre visite, il y avait de la lessive) Cet endroit ferme à 21h max. A l’extérieur des jeux pour enfants ainsi qu’une table de ping-pong. Vous aurez également à disposition des vélos en libre de service et des antivols qui se trouvent dans chaque chambre. Boulangerie à 5min à pied et carrefour market a 10min en voiture. Bref très bel endroit pour passer quelques jours dans la région, nous avons visité le Mont St Michel, St Malo et Cancale. La pluie nous a gâché le jour du retour, nous avions prévu les plages du débarquement. Dernier point, ne faites pas comme moi le dernier jour et lire la petite note affichée dans la chambre pour savoir quoi faire le jour de départ. Merci à Claire (et son discret mari) pour leur accueil 😊

Petit détail, mais juste pour dire qqchose, une télé légèrement plus grande dans la chambre n’aurait pas été un refus. Mais bon c’est vraiment très secondaire.

Super séjour en famille

Super gite avec tout le nécessaire pour se sentir comme à la maison, très spacieux et très propre. Le top avec la douche qui donne accès direct à la piscine et coin détente avec télé, jeux de société… Tout est pensé pour être bien et se reposer. Claire est une personne très sympathique qui nous a accueillie chaleureusement et nous a conseillé sur toutes les activités à faire.Emplacement génial à proximité de tout, à faire en vélo( gratuit) ou à pied.Mont St Michel à 45 min, walygator Bay a 5 min à pied, St Malo a 40 min en voiture.

Un séjour parfait, merci pour l'accueil.

L'emplacement est top. A seulement 10 minutes du Mont Saint Michel. La résidence avec piscine dans le patio est un véritable +.

La distance avec une vraie grande surface. Car le carrefour market de Pontorson est faible en produits.

The owner is very strict and unpolite. She does not to extend her very limited check hours, so we had to live without our caution money. Actually I am sure that she prefer this way, so she can keep the caution. Be carefull, even on booking site it is not explain what are the conditions for release your money, you will be oblige to clean your gite. Like a pro..... I travelled alot, but this is my first time with this way to treat guests. Horrible

Really brilliant idea, great place to stay, 20 mins to cycle to Mont St Michel

Oh my goodness, what an amazing find! I wasn't entirely sure what the layout of this place would be. I kind of imagined a Centerparcs kind of place with gites/static caravans on a site with a shared pool facility. With that in mind, I thought the size of the pool in the photos looked a little small and might be too busy. I was totally wrong about all of that haha! I want to describe the accommodation for anyone thinking of booking, because honestly the description doesn't do it justice. There are 9 separate gites, arranged in a circle, with a large covered atrium at the centre. It's all one building - you collect your keys from reception and walk or drive around to find your door. Inside is a living room/dining/kitchen area, and stairs leading up to the bedrooms/bathroom. At the back of the living area, there is another little room with a shower and sink and a back door - which leads to the atrium. The other gites all have doors leading into the atrium as it's a shared space. There's a small, warm pool (nice to relax in, and great for the kids to play in) and a comfy seating area. Lots of places to sit and relax, and a hammock! There are plenty of bikes of all sizes, each with its own lock and key, and you can just take them out for the day - no need to book them out or anything. From the accommodation, it's about an hour's walk to the start of the bridge that leads to Mont St Michel (and from there, another 20 minutes' walk or a free 5 minute bus ride - the buses are every few minutes). With the free bikes, you can cycle that distance in 20 minutes (leave the bikes at the bike park next to the bus stops). The path you travel along is all off road, it's all flat, along the river, so you can't get lost and it's very easy to travel with no horrible hills! The lady who met us at reception was lovely, so friendly, and I can't recommend this place highly enough.

I would repeat living here

Just best personal, they agreed to check in 4 hours earlier, they agreed check out earlier so we can reach bus to train station, they helped a lot giving us some medicine for my wife’s injury. The pool is really nice option after a hot day. Most important is free bikes, they are in quite bad state but still work. Bikes are must have for this area, so nice we save some money on renting.

On check in you have to give 100€ as a deposit and returning back depends on how clean the apartment on checkout, so we had to spend an hour to clean it perfectly

Exceptional

Very friendly manager. Great location at 20 minutes by foot to the Mont Saint Michel. Our apartment was very confortable with a gas stove, oven and microwave. Nice heated swimming pool and possibility to use bikes. I highly recommend this gîte to visit the Mont Saint Michel as well as the region.

Very good location but with non acceptable rules from the host (in my opinion)

- Location is perfect, very close to Mount St Michell - There were free bikes available, which it is very convenient to get to the mount - Very nice indoor pool - Quite place, perfect to rest - Bed was very comfortable

- Host is simply non-flexible at all. We asked to leave the property EARLIER in the morning (we understand it is difficult to accommodate to leave late, but early?) since we had to drive back to Paris to catch a flight. She simply did not admit any change as much as we asked: check-out started at 8AM and she would not do any minute earlier. We were so close to miss our flight - It is kind of humilliating being a grown-up having somebody checking if you cleaned after you to return you your money, like if you were a kid and she is checking how you behaved - Host speaks poor English which makes communication difficult some times - You have no towels, no gel bath, no shampoo...you have to bring all of that even if you just come for 2-3 days, consuming a lot of space in your baggage - You are being repeated over and over again "this is not a hotel"...well...you are charging for accommodation. I understand there might be different rules but some of them are...again...unacceptable to me

One of the best stays after four months traveling

Location was perfect, bikes available to take at your leisure to bike all the way to mont Saint Michelle, easy close distance on a bike path by the river, host quick response to all questions, washing machine, park in front of your apartment, lovely new place with smart tv, could change the tv settings to put the few American shoes back to original language, walk to small town for drinks or dinner out

No bath towels, that was the only thing you had to provide, traveling from overseas we did not have our own with us. You must give euros at the property for deposit, we were leaving and did not have enough 100 plus and they would not take sterling of other currency. These were by no means a show stopper, just be prepared.

Clean, comfortable accommodation with a fantastic swimming pool.

The property was clean and comfortable - no air con though if it was really hot. The swimming pool was fantastic, and the ease of accessing from the property was great. There were lots of bikes, including with child carriers and crash helmets, available. Parking was available at the property. The surrounding area is lovely - great shops and restaurants.

Daily 7am church bells weren't the alarm clock we'd hoped for! With young children, the "20 minute walk to the Mont St Michel shuttle bus" is somewhat optimistic. After 40 minutes of walking with them, I turned back and got the car. The park and ride works really well, with regular shuttles (but 15 euros for the car park was unexpected).

Huge potential but shouldn't be advertised on Booking.com

The location is great for kids and have a great space. The building is new, offer an indoor pool, kids games, easy access with car and free bikes. The interior should be a bit more high standard to match the building design (which is super stylish). Overall good location but need improvement on his operation.

As it is currently managed, this place shouldn't be on booking.com but on french "gites" website. Booking.com imply a certain a number of basic services in hospitality. The host doesn't offer self checking, has no flexibility on late check-in arrival, doesn't accept credit card for the security deposit (ATM is located in the next city ...) and you have to do your own cleaning. That wouldn't a problem if I booked this place on "gites de france" but it not the case. The host need to charge cleaning fees or let people the choice on the cleaning. If you are ok with all that, this place is great. If not, you will feel frustrated during your vacations...

Opening hours of pool are not suitable for guests who come to Normandy to go sightseeing as pool opens late and closes early. Cobwebs and spiders in unit. Having to clean unit before leaving.

Lovely hosts and super clean!

The friendly and welcoming hosts are one of the best things about this property! Next to that, everything was super clean, new and well thought out. We loved the free bicycle use, indoor swimming pool, relaxation area, outdoor playground and picnic tables. Definitely recommend this place for families with children or simply for people wanting a bit more space.

Superb

Warm and welcoming hosts. The location looks brand new, has a quite smart concept, comfortable, well maintained green and calm area, children friendly and offering in terms of facilities: large rooms, new furniture and appliances etc, terrace, front parking, a small pool, bicycles, playground, table tennis, mini-football court. Equipped kitchen but also nice restaurants ar walking distance.

You have to leave a deposit when check-in. Poor internet on the terrace. I hope the obligation to clean the apartment was only temporary, due to the special covid-19 conditions.
