The ceiling fans were dirty, the pillows were flat and yellowed, the toilet seat in the master was stained. The kitchen had no dish towels or pot holders. The hot tub smelled awful. Very disappointed with this rental. I texted the number listed to call and the lady responded that she had not managed the property in 7 years. Bad experience

Perfect spot for big groups. Convenient location to bus stop for transportation to downtown and the ski resort. Great time!

As advertised
Bear Hollow is just a short drive to the base of the canyons which was great for us. Pictures represent the place accurately as do the descriptions. The kitchen was well stocked and the management staff were always quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again.

I have three suggestions: Invest in additional bowls and spoons. Only four of each which is frustrating when you have six people. Replace coffee maker with one that has an auto shutoff. And lastly, the furniture in the family room is not very comfortable and does not accommodate six adults very well.

Overall we enjoyed our stay amidst a small problems.
We did enjoy our stay here. The kitchen was clean as well as the rest of the house. There were a few things that we had problems with. We had a hard time adjusting the thermostats. We were only given one dishwasher soap pod and a small amount of dish washing soap. We also had to look around house to find more liquid hand soap. When we called to state the lack of soap, we were told to go buy more and they would pay us back. Yes, that was nice of them, but when I go on vacation my purpose is not to have to go shopping in order to wash the dishes. When we first got to the house, there was part of a broken bottle on the garage floor. Nothing a broom couldn't fix, but not what I really wanted to deal with. Bottom line, it was a nice house and we enjoyed our stay, Just needs a few minor improvements.

We've stayed in many rental properties over the years, and it gives me no pleasure whatsoever to write this negative review. But honestly, the owners of this property need to understand that the condition of the home is unacceptable. If it were just one or two issues, I'd say "fine, it's a rental property." But the list of concerns is long, well documented, and disconcerting:
- Empty propane tank on gas grill
- Gas fireplace in main living room does not work
- Broken glass in cabinet and sitting in drinking glasses -- a true hazard for children
- Burned out, mismatched and missing lightbulbs throughout
- Dead batteries in all (ALL) remote controls
- Maggots in kitchen cabinets (not kidding)
- Dirty, worn carpet
- Accumulated junk everywhere...old electronics, half-used paint cans, random useless pieces of furniture, packages delivered to prior renters, I could go on...
- Duct tape on vent/ceiling
- Electrical outlets that do not provide power
- Broken lampshades
- Worn and broken furniture (I have pictures)
- Dishwasher drawer does not close properly
- Garage door opener unreliable
- Peeling paint/stain on exterior
- Etc., etc., etc.
Unfortunately we rented this place for THREE WEEKS! So after a week or so I went to the property manager's office and explained the situation -- I even sent them my list of concerns in writing. They promised to rectify, but only came to the house to organize cabinets and drop off new cookware. They addressed virtually NONE of my concerns.
Honestly, if you're looking for a place to stay while you ski, play quarters and eat pizza with your college frat brothers...this place is probably fine. But if you want to bring your children, family, cook meals, live like a civilized adult, you'd be wise to look elsewhere. And I repeat...it gives me no pleasure whatsoever to write this review. None.
Respectfully submitted,
Andy

Adult Family Ski Retreat
This property really delivered as advertised. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed preparing our meals using the kitchen and grill. Great access to all the regional skiing.

Good spot for skiing but not great for remote work
The property was fine as a place to crash and ski, except that the fold out bed in the basement is horrible for sleeping. The property is as presented in the photos. Wifi is great. Location is terrific for all amenities and for walking the dog. We had trouble getting in because the code I was given did not work for the garage but after some calls and texting this was resolved.

We enjoyed our stay at Bear Hollow Village for our winter family reunion. All the pertinent details were emailed ahead of check in day. The unit was easy to access with both the door and garage codes. The garage was a great place to store our ski gear and the boot dryer was very handy. Our adult family of seven fit nicely in all the bedrooms and there were plenty of bathrooms. The main floor kitchen was large enough and became the defacto gathering place for meals and card games. The hot tub was clean and in good working order and made for a relaxing soak after our day on the slopes. A toilet handle broke and management was easy to contact and the repair man came promptly to repair it. Only complaints - the garage door remote didn't function well, too many remotes to manage all the TVs and the Apple TV wasn't useable because we didn't have the Apple ID and password for the owner's account.

The condo itself is very beautiful. Great floor plan. Does need some deep cleaning. I was a little disappointed at how dirty certain areas of it were. There are several areas that need a little handiwork. Master bathroom had burned out lightbulbs and we couldn’t find replacements. The lack of toilet paper and Kleenex was a huge disappointment, especially since we had such a large group of family. The Kleenex boxes in the bathrooms might have each had 3-4 kleenexes in them. We ran out of toilet paper on our last day there and had to share one roll. My husband had to defrost the ice maker in the fridge to get it to dispense ice. There was laundry left in the dryer I had to fold and didn’t know what to do with it. Broken chairs on front porch. There were quite a few things that just needed a little TLC. The hot tub was nice, the beds were fairly comfortable. I would suggest lowering the cleaning fee a little, because we had to do some cleaning ourselves.

The whole check in and check out process was really smooth. The property was beautiful. We were able to take a walk over to the grocery store for dessert one night and the view was breathtaking.

Great townhome in Bear Hollow
We have stayed in Bear Hollow numerous times and we were very pleased with this townhome. Everything was neat, clean and as described. The Bear Hollow location is very convenient for skiing, with all the local mountains only a short drive away.

Great stay for the family
We had a nice stay. We had 5 adults and 2 high school students stay at the property. It was fine for our needs. We did not cook, but the kitchen seem well equipped. It was clean. Easy access to the ski areas and also to restaurants and shopping.

Great property and location.
We have 6 people in this house and has plenty of extra room. Enjoyable vacation spot.

Beautiful Home located close to everything
Our Family had a wonderful time staying at this home. Very close to town, shopping centers and the slopes. Plenty of room for everyone.
4.3
Great Family Meeting Place
Our family reunion was over Labor Day Sept. 2017. We loved this place. the Open space between the Living Area and Kitchen had room for all, and we can all be together as much as we wanted. The master bedroom's large walk in closet served as a place to put up a crib so our Grand-baby had her own little private spot to sleep. We loved having access to the Pool and went there every day.
4.3
Summer Family Gathering
The property was very clean and stocked as expected. We were 4 adults, 1 teen and 4 children and all had comfortable lodging. The teen had the room on the lower level and that worked out well. The pool and hot tub were used everyday. Bikes in the garage were used as well because not all of us had bikes. Very enjoyable experience and nice home.
