My friend and I get a cabin for 4th of July to escape the fireworks with our dogs. This was a pleasant cabin to stay in. Nice area to walk our dogs, bbq with large deck that’s also perfect for coffee in the mornings amongst the trees. The kitchen is amazing to cook meals and there’s plenty of space. Nalani is easy friendly, considerate, and easy to communicate. She also responds quickly to questions/concerns. I would highly recommend and stay here again.

Beautiful cabin. Cozy and plenty of room. Great kitchen and living area. Great location! Close to ski resort and Lake Arrowhead.

The property seemed like it is in middle of renovation or upgrade as there were tools & stuff in kitchen drawers and rooms had open electrical outlets. Other than the kitchen and the master bedroom everything other area needed lot of upgrade/work.

We felt very much at home at this property, and it was quiet. You can tell the owners of this property care about their guests

We’ve stayed here before and will stay again. Great location! Host are very responsive and quick with any actions needed. We had a water leak and they were up and fixed it quickly.

Very nice stay for our ski trip! The place had everything we needed to cook! Nice spacious rooms too. I would definitely stay again!

By far one of the best cabins we’ve stayed, considering coming back in the summer!

Property was as described and represented plus communication was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

This property was beautiful and well maintained! It was perfect for our ski weekend and we had an absolute blast. Loved getting to unwind with a big fire and movie after a long ski day. Highly recommend!

Perfect cabin in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Cabin was really spacious.

Host communication was excellent. Area surrounding cabin was very nice for a mountain community. Cabin was very cozy for 4 adult 2 children and 2 dogs. We would rent this property again for sure. Thank you Nalani & Bill!

We had a relaxing time out and about. Kitchen was nicely remodeled, but the house could have used a better cleaning; massive cobwebs everywhere; ceiling fans where filthy and the beautiful windows… so dirty. More outside furniture would have been nice. Couches sagged and we’re extremely uncomfortable. The deck was a bit scary. They advertised “air conditioning” but should mention they are portable units. Neighborhood is full of nonstop barking dogs. It was nice spending time with family and enjoying the Big Bear area. I wouldn’t rent this place again or even recommend it.

We had 4 adults and one 10yr old. Although the outside of the house looks a little weathered and work stuff piled in the carport, the inside is a cozy, nicely remodeled cabin. The kitchen is nicely stocked with utensils and spices. Bedrooms are nice and the upstairs master bedroom is quite nice. We were all very happy there for the weekend. We'd consider staying there again on our next visit.

Unfortunately, the property was not as described. There were cobwebs(huge) throughout the cabin, making me want to leave immediately, it was dark so went to bed and stared at more cobwebs from the ceiling fan over bed. Next morning tried to make the most out of it. The entire outside patio is weak. My husband fell through one of the broken steps ( luckily it wasn’t my child). Looking around more, the weight bearing beams are broken and being held up with a rock. The front picture of the cabin conveniently doesn’t show the carport (attached)full of trash. Quite a bit of trash outside the property. Parking spots barely 2, not 5.
So, needless to say I was disappointed. The area and neighborhood is nice.

This property - out of several that we have stayed at in the area - is the one that truly delivers exactly what it promises. A beautiful kitchen space, open concept living room and nice bedroom furnishings make it a total winner. Our family has now stayed twice and will definitely stay again- my kids insist we always seek out this one first! Nalani makes it easy to relax, and the location near to quaint Running Springs and Snow Valley can’t be beat. We love it!

The upstairs loft was beautiful, spacious and offered nice views. Kid's room with bunk bed was a hit with the little ones and could easily fit up to 4 younger children. We loved the main living area with the huge windows, lovely fireplace, and amazing kitchen. Updated appliances, tons of cabinet space (I like to bring all my own food from home), plenty of counter space. The bar was great for entertaining. I think I spent most of my time in the kitchen, happily! Close to snow valley and town for any essentials you forgot. Could not have picked a better place for a snow trip! Very happy with everything!

Beautiful place surrounded by trees. I liked their set up and decoration. The owner is really nice and easy to communicate with. We will be back.

The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and very nice, the carpet seems new and was very plush and comfortable. Our only complaint was that the amenities say there is a TV in the master bedroom but there was not, there was a mount on the wall where it should be but the TV was in the downstairs bedroom closet, we assumed broken. Also there is not much parking, the carport was full of stuff so there was no room to park a car. There were little things that I feel may have been attributed to a bad cleaning crew perhaps, such as there were no trash liners in any of the trach cans in the bathrooms and there were only 2 rolls of toilet paper, we looked all over but there were none. Also the driveway was full of snow and it had not snowed in over a week, all the neighbors had cleared driveways but not at this address. Other than that it was warm and cozy and we had a good relaxing time.

We rented this home over Thanksgiving (Wed-Sun). The cabin location and overall interior upgrades look great. It was quiet and being at the end of the cul de sac gave our grandkids room to play out front. The hiking trail the hosts provided directions to was a very nice trail, although if you have little kids, it's better to drive to the trailhead.
The main problem with our experience was with the TV situation. When we arrived and turned on the TV on the main floor, we discovered it had clearly been hit with something. There were several black lines running across the whole top third of the screen and down the right quarter of the screen with an "impact point" where the lines came together. It was technically watchable in that it turned on and showed a picture, but did make it very difficult as much of the screen you couldn't see through the lines and couldn't see anything through the impact point. After contacting the owners, they told us they were aware of it and waiting for the insurance claim money before replacing it. We also asked about a missing remote for the only other TV in the house (master bedroom) and were told just to use the remote from the main TV as they're the same. We're pretty easy going people so although it wasn't ideal, we made do.
By Saturday morning, the main floor TV had stopped working altogether. The screen was all black. We contacted the hosts to let them know and never received a reply or return phone call. The only working TV was in the upstairs bedroom with no seating other than the bed.
We understand things happen, especially with rentals. However a few simple things could have made this into a much more positive review. At the very least, it would have been nice to get a heads up from the owners about the broken TV since they knew about it well before we arrived. (they said it wasn't the renters before us that broke it) It would have also saved us 30 minutes of searching if they would have told us one of the remotes was missing. Ideally, it would have been nice to get a temporary replacement TV knowing Thanksgiving is typically a holiday where people get together and watch TV, whether football, parades, movies, etc. You can get a TV for $225 at Walmart to use until the insurance money arrives. Since the TV stopped working altogether, it would have been nice if they offered a small refund, but at the very least should have returned our phone call about it. That was pretty crappy.

This cabin is beautiful on the inside without much luxury spared. The kitchen is a high end kitchen with gas range and convection oven microwave oven combo unit with beautiful granite countertops. Upstairs master bath left no luxury spared either with stone shower, double glass bowl sinks with waterfall faucets. The beds are extremely comfortable and will keep you very warm at night as the house appx. 20 ft. cathedral ceilings we didn't know how the hart would work. The heater had no problems keeping the house at 68 and plenty of hot water as well.
The only minor drawbacks are the exterior with it being a little rough looking on the outside and the porch out the master suit and front porch need rebuilding. Now with COVID eased they're going to fix it. Don't let distracted, this is a amazing place for a good price.
The food in town is excellent we ate at Neo's pizza first night with amazing pizza with no skipping in toppings, also old country cafe had amazing food also. I would suggest getting food before coming up the mountain or get food at Vons or Stater Brothers in Big Bear which is a 30 minutes from the cabin.
Bottom line host was very friendly and nice and handled anything that came up fast!! This a amazing place your close to Lake Arrowhead, Santa's Village, Big Bear lake , and if you wanted it's a short drive down to highlands and Redlands cities, I would avoid the city of San Bernardino as it can be quit tough.
We loved our 9 nights their with no complaining about anything. We saw no wild creatures during our visit not even a deer such was surprise being in the mountain.

This cabin is in a nice area and was nicely furnished. We wished the owner had gotten rid of the spider webs in the ceilings and corners but overall it was very clean. Would recommend staying here in the cooler months because they don’t have central AC so it was pretty hot in the house all day—even with the AC unit on in the living room. Great host though and lovely kitchen and master bedroom!
