The house is incredible, and it's situated in a breathtakingly beautiful part of the countryside.

Lovely renovated space with two bedrooms, bathroom, living room, and open kitchen/dining. Lots of space, very comfortable. Loved the views to the back garden, and horses in the distance!
Alison was very nice in communications ahead of time, and during our stay.
She responded promptly when we had a silly question!
A little hard to find, look for Laybrook farm (don't try at Dan farm like we did!). Our GPS had it on the wrong side of the street, too.
Wonderfully relaxing once you are there!

It was lovely to sit in the kitchen/diner and watch the countryside with the horses and birds.

Good facilities, clean and comfortable. Lovely and warm, very spacious. Nice big bath. Beautiful view from the kitchen window.
All in all a perfect first holiday with our baby boy.
No negatives but maybe upgrade the TV to a smart TV so people can access Prime, Netflix etc.

It was a lovely location in Sussex, Alison was very friendly and helpful and it was a lovely converted stone building. Best of all was the wonderful sunlit and spacious kitchen dinigroom. Lovely to have a patio area to sit out on.
The road was quite noisy Friday evening but no problem over the weekend. There is a constant low noise from something in the garden that you may or may not hear.

We liked the outlook from the patio. A beautiful garden and fields beyond.
No freezing compartment in fridge. Limited number of saucepans.
Disturbed by movement of occupants of hayloft above.

The property was very clean and has a sun trap patio to the rear, which overlooked the surrounding fields. It was well equipped with parking directly opposite.
Driving is essential as amenities are not close.

Alison, the hostess was very friendly, helpful and efficient. The cottage was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The information pack, Alison provided was very informative and we tried out a few of the walks she recommended, which we thoroughly enjoyed; especially the dogs!
We had a lovely stay and I’d love to come back.

Warm welcome from very friendly owner. Lovely conversion of stables. Good off road parking and ease of access. Really comfortable beds with spotless linen and lovely quality, freshly laundered towels. Spotless comfortable bathroom. Lovely outlook over owners garden. Wonderful walk from property.
Some areas not as clean as could be e.g-dust in bedrooms, kitchen area could do with thorough clean but owner is working hard on her own in very difficult conditions. The space itself enjoyable and comfortable.

The host Alison was very friendly and helpful. Communication before arrival was brilliant. The property was open and ready for us when we arrived. The location was pet friendly and perfect for peaceful walks with our dog.
We weren't aware that there was a small flat above our property. It didn't disturb us, but we were anxious that our dog barking was disturbing them.

As a terminal ill person we went away to get away from covid and to see a different view having looked at my garden for the last 6 months. The view and wild life were great, shame about the lack of seating to enjoy it.
There was no outdoor seating. Sofa's were uncomfortable. Limited WiFi. "Sharp" knives were blunt. No can opener. Wasn't the large bed that was requested.
3.5
Location was quiet and there were walks for the dog on the doorstep. Close to everywhere we wanted to visit

Lovely location on edge of South Downs. The cottage is a recent conversion of a farm building, spacious and comfortable.
Our host made us feel very welcome.
