We had a lovely time, big, older house very close to the village. We had so much space for my family of 5 and my sisters family of 3. I loved the vintage magazines and newspapers to flip through!

Hello,
We had 10 people stay in this location. It was well stocked with towels and bedding. It accommodating us well. I would say that the house has enough rooms for everyone, but, should be decluttered. We packed a lot of food for our trip and it was hard to find spots to put the food in. I did have to reach out to the owners. There was an ongoing issue with the washing machine and dishwasher also had an issue. The owner was very goodfor getting back to me with responses . In addition as a frequent VRBO customer communication is always good.

We enjoyed our stay. The house offers lots of space for everyone. We loved the back deck area and spent most of our time out there. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and serving. The house also provides well for beach trips with plenty of chairs and towels. The closeby beach was disappointing, but we loved the Bolton Beach and took advantage of the tennis and pickle bar courts there throughout our beach days. There are vintage items throughout the house that remind you of the past.

My family had a great stay here and can't say enough good things about this house. There was lots of space and it was so well stocked, we felt very "at home". Great backyard for sitting and hanging out and lots of room for games like ladder ball and cornhole. BBQ was great as well as the firepit. Also, the proximity to both Lake George Village and Bolton Landing was super convenient. The family took the trolley to Lake George for fireworks on 4th of July and it worked and had an awesome time.

This house was beautiful. It had some lovely old 1900s character and charm. There was plenty of space and rooms, along with all the appliances and linens that one could need. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back.

Excellent location. Kitchen is perhaps the best equipped I have experienced in my 40 years vacationing in Lake George… if only the stove was gas 😂
Great patio and great grill. Comfortable and clean!

My family had a great week at Bearly Inn. The house had plenty of room for 6 adults and a 2 year old. It also had a large, beautiful deck/patio combination for outdoor living. The large kitchen table and outdoor tables provided ample seating and game space for all of us. The house was spotless and was stocked with everything you could need for a vacation - including all your linens, indoor toys and crafts for kids, indoor adult board games and puzzles, outdoor yard game equipment, beach chairs, coolers, grill equipment and an amazingly well stocked kitchen - including a second ice maker. Kathleen provided such lovely and personalized touches to make our stay a nice one - including fresh rolls and wine for the adults, and cookies, popcorn, bubbles and chalk for my granddaughter. We were greeted with a lovely vintage tablecloth and flowers on the kitchen table when we arrived. Kathleen even came over to personally drive me into town on my first full day there to show me where the beaches and good restaurants were. The house location was great - it was a short drive to both downtown Lake George and to Boltons Landing. We went to the public beach in each town and enjoyed walking around both lovely towns.

The house is in a quiet area just off the main street, five minutes to the main strip. It was clean and organized well with all the necessities. The only thing that I missed was a clothesline to hang suits and towels after returning from the beach, otherwise it was a great property to rent. I highly recommend it.

The property is impeccably clean and provided ample space for our family of 8. Everyone had their own bedroom and the common spaces are large enough for a group. The back patio is incredibly private and we enjoyed eating outside and making fires when the weather permitted. The property is close to town, but much quieter! If we return to the area we will certainly stay again.

This house had it all! We were a group of 10 for the week, plenty of room and yard. We were noisy at times because we all wanted to have a great time( dance party on huge deck), no one bothered us. Fire pit was so calming. Close to beach, village, restaurants, and grocery store. Kathy was amazing and gave us awesome suggestions for boat rentals and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again, she was so accommodating!!!

Our stay at Bearly Inn was absolutely perfect. The house was a beautiful older home with charm and character. The house was packed with everything you could imagine, and the owner was more than helpful with any and all questions we had, from restaurants, take out food, and things to do. It was centrally located to anything you might want to do in Lake George. The house was located on a private street with a beautiful, very private outdoor area. My entire family and young grandchildren loved it. We definitely would stay at Bearly Inn whenever we visit Lake George again. Thank you to the owners!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Lake George and this home was one of the highlights. The home is charming and comfortable. The beds were great (this is important to us), the kitchen was very well equipped and helpful as most meals were cooked at home. The outdoor grill and back porch with fire pit were awesome as we grilled every night and finished with s’mores! The wifi wasn’t great but expected when up in the mountains. The toilet was often left running on the first floor and should be replaced but not enough to affect our return. Kathy was a warm and helpful host. She gave us many recommendations for things to do and restaurants worth going to and was never intrusive. Overall, we would definitely return if we plan another trip to Lake George!

My family and I had a fantastic stay at this Lake George home. The house was close to everything and had plenty of room for us all. The house was well stocked. It is an older home, but was very clean and well maintained. The backyard is great and we enjoyed having a fire in the outdoor fireplace. We would definitely stay there again in the future.

Perfect location. Very peaceful and enjoyed the back deck and fire pit. Ample bedrooms and kitchen/eating area. Appreciated the character of this well maintained older home.

The property and house were as described and comfortable. We were 6 adults and 2 children, but if we had been a larger group the common rooms would have felt cramped. Property needed some upkeep: the dishwasher was not secured into the cabinetry so it had to be maneuvered to close tightly (otherwise it couldn’t be turned on); the toilet on the first floor had a leak around its base that needed to be mopped up several times a day; worst was the front steps were worn badly and required caution (one of us fell when we were packing up to leave).

This was a beautiful home in a serene setting in Lake George. We enjoyed the short ride/walk to a small community beach which was beautiful and easy access to other activities such as boating, hiking, and kayaking.

Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful house with us Kathy, we all had a fantastic time in Lake George and this beautiful big house and deck area really made it comfortable I have to say the fire pit was a real hit with everyone! overall a very enjoyable stay thanks again

The house accommodated my family of 10. It was located near everything. The kitchen and big table in eating area was very accommodating. The appliances were rather new and very serviceable. Outside in back was a great Weber grill and a fire pit that we used and enjoyed. The house was stocked with linens and towels., beach chairs etc. the only things needed were food and personal items. There were rags instead of paper towels. The cable did not work. My major complaint was the condition of the sitting room furniture. It needed a major cleaning or replacement. The house is old and filled with things and thus dusty. As I am allergic to dust mites, I suffered a respiratory infection. With a few adjustments, the house was terrific for a family or group of friends.
