simply best hotel in Elvas

the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, also hotel rooms and corridors are extremely clean , the breakfast menu have some gluten free items , spa is really amazing.

Tout. Très bon accueil. Le responsable du spa nous a bien conseillé sur Elvas. Piscine agréable . Grande chambre confortable, jolie. Parking sur place. Petit déjeuner excellent. Hôtel bien placé pour visiter la ville.

Exceptional hotel

Superb location, and exceptionally spacious luxury hotel with spa available free to guests This hotel was exceptional in all respects and in our group stay was a class above the Paradors. Breakfast was superb with an omelette chef and a massive array of fresh food to savour

Quarto muito, mesmo muito afastado da entrada. Acho que conseguem fazer um acesso alternativo por fora do prédio.

El edificio, la decoracion y la amabilidad del personal

La piscina, imposible bañarse, muchos niños saltando, gritando y tirandose de cabeza al agua y salpicando. No nos gusto nada la comida de la cena del restsurante, minimalista y poca calidad, estaba fria. El servicio correcto.

Misleading room detail to include air conditioning which it did not.

Beautiful historic hotel in a very nice location. The staff in the bar and restaurant were wonderful. The breakfast was plentiful with a variety of pastries and made to order hot selections. Dinner in the main dining room was excellent. Very enjoyable. If it weren’t for the comments below we would definitely come back.

When we got to our room it was very warm. The hotel itself was cool. We attempted to turn on the air conditioning with a remote control which only produced hot air. We went to the reception for assistance and one person came and could not get it to work so she brought another person and a maintenance man. They kept turning on the heat and insisted that the hotel room did not offer air conditioning, only heat. I showed them our booking conforming indicating air was included. They disagreed and told us to open the window which we did. Unfortunately misquotes and flies came in so we had to close it. Even though it was cool at night without the window open the room was very warm. With no help from the hotel we emailed booking . Com which was supposed to go directly to the hotel. We never heard back. We did not change rooms because we were told non of the rooms had air. I can’t imagine the discomfort in a warmer month. Very disappointed and unfortunately will not stay here again.

Agradável e tranquila.

Local tranquilo e ao mesmo tempo central, empregados atenciosos e hotel muito agradável. Comida com qualidade sem ser soberba, variedade do bufê e até da carta algo limitado comparando com outras unidades Vila Galé.

No me gusto que Page por cena en bufete y entiendo que no abría gente para cubrirlo pero si es así no hubiese cogido cena. Page de más por un servicio que no tuve.

Hôtel très décevant

L'emplacement et l'ensemble sauna, hammam..

L'accueil et le bâtiment étaient glacials. Les chambres étaient confortables mais vieillottes. Énorme bémol sur le restaurant : nous avons consulté la carte dans l'après-midi. Mais à l'heure du dîner, nous nous retrouvons devant un buffet digne d'une mauvaise cafétéria. Nous avons insisté pour manger à la carte, malgré la réticence de la serveuse. Un repas médiocre, surtout pour un hôtel 4 étoiles. Le gaspacho était étiquetté comme végétarien. Or, il contenait du porc. En définitive, nous avons très déçus au vu de standing affiché de l'hôtel.

Para volver una y mil veces

Todo maravilloso, como siempre. Y el personal inmejorable tanto la chica de recepción que nos recordaba de otras ocasiones, como el camarero del desayuno que estuvo muy atento y amable.

Por decir algo, la puerta de entrada que doble y al ser manual y estar tan cerca es algo incómodo cuando vas cargado.

Superou as minhas expectativas

Gostei de praticamente tudo. Não estava à espera. Limpo, agradável, um local que é uma mistura entre hotel e museu, com boas instalações, piscinas, bares, restaurantes. O pequeno almoço é muito bom, tudo fresco e muito variado. Além disso tem estacionamento praticamente à porta do hotel. Uma excelente escolha.

Um pormenor mínimo, não tem secretária. Como estive alojado por razões de trabalho, dava jeito uma secretária no quarto para poder tratar de alguns aspetos relacionados com o trabalho.

Renovação e adaptação muito bem feita, bem decorado. Ótimo pequeno almoço. Bem localizado. Um pátio interior muito bonito. A sala do pequeno-almoço é no átrio com vista para o pátio, muito agradável.

Quartos demasiado simples. No caso do duplex, a casa de banho fica situada num piso diferente do quarto.

Living in ancient times with nowadays facilities

The location was unique, although walking around wasn’t easy due to hilly area and stone roads. The facilities offered varied experiences. The a la carte menu has great dishes like the duck confit and bochechas, which delighted us

Very good stay in Elvas

The historic building in the heart of the city is turned into a hotel with a very nice pool, large rooms and friendly workers. It is just minutes away from the town center and it has facilities which makes you spend time in the hotel. All in all it is an amazing facility

The breakfast is ok but we thought it would be even better with a cleaner approach, especially around the section where they serve omelettes. Otherwise all is fine.

The location on the edge of the Elvas historic center was excellent. The 300-year-old history of the former convent was still on display. Private parking though about 200 meters from the entrance.

The hotel restaurant did not quite meet the high expectations.
