We didn't stay - shared bathroom
Very friendly welcome from the owner
Description on Booking.com says the rooms have a shower - the room we were allocated did not and we were expected to use the shared bathroom along the corridor. Parking is on-street with no private parking.

Its a nasty tiny room, barely larger than the bed. Everything is filthy!
+ You can feel like Harry Potter in his tiny room under the stairs. + Its close to Didcot train station
- Everything is filthy! - Furniture and carpet floor are very old and need replacement. - Breakfast is as cheap as it gets ( instant coffee, etc.) and there is no comftable place to sit. (Wintergarden if the only place with chairs and its very cold in winter) - Shared bathroom with very tiny sink and a bath tub where the water does not run off - No privacy! You can hear everyone in the house and they can hear you.

The owner genuinely cares about your stay and that's so refreshing
The landlord is an absolute gem! I broke my hand prior to staying here and the guy came over in his free time to carry my suitcase upstairs for me. If that doesn't scream brilliant service then I honestly don't know what is. It's also perfectly priced for what it is and nice and close to both the train station and the high street.
The banister on the stairs is a bit weak and could do with being reset or replaced. Also, just as a side note, the door handle and lock combo on the doors is rather difficult for one handed persons but I'm being picky.

A great place to stay and a wonderfully accommodating host.
Close to railway station, Didcot Railway Centre and high street - clean room with nice towels and comfortable bed! Lots of variety for breakfast. Philippe provided quick and responsive communication and was accommodating to our needs.

Fantastic host, nice facilities and a great location.
I really liked the host, Philippe. He was very welcoming and made the stay a very pleasant experience. Lynn who is there to keep the place looking tip top was also there daily, and was a wonderful lady. I would definitely go there again. It was such a good location, just a few minutes walk from Didcot station. There is a pub opposite the station if you want to stop off before! The washing machine and tumble dryer were a real bonus. It was pretty quiet. The other guests weren't noisy or anything so it seems to be a place for working people to stop by, or people on the odd trip to events or places nearby (a festival called Bunkfest was on whilst I was staying). It's also really easy to get places from there as the station is so close. There are plenty of taxi companies including a really nice one called 'Ali G Taxis' who weren't extortionately expensive. Sainsbury's is a 5-minute walk and there seems to be an increasing amount of things/places to go within Didcot.
I mean it was pretty good so not much to say here. In retrospect I would've preferred a room downstairs, which I'll know for next time as bathroom facilities are downstairs.
