About this cottage rental

Our cozy cottage has everything you need for your Snowy Mountains getaway. The cottage has Wifi, Netflix, classic DVDs, excellent heating and cooling, and fresh linen. Sleeps 9-12 guests in three bedrooms, two separate lounge rooms, two toilets, One bathroom, kitchen/dining room,60 in' Smart TV,
Electric blankets, comfy dooners and soft pillows.

Set in the breathtaking hills of Talbingo this home away from home is in perfect location to enjoy a Summer or Winter getaway.
5 Minutes to Talbingo Dam
40 Minutes to MT SELWYN
The local activities include; mountain biking, Water Skiing, Snow Skiing , Fishing, Bush Walking, Hot springs, Caves, Golf, Tennis, Basket Ball, Children's Park and much more.

Bedroom 1 = 1 x Queen bed + Porta cot

Bedroom 2 = 2 x Bunk beds (one bunk had a double bed on bottom, single on top. The other has single bottom and top)

Bedroom 3 = 1x Queen bed

Main lounge room has a Queen fold out couch and the second lounge has a single futon

Great location to stay overnight for snow activities at Selwyn. Clear instructions provided for access. Enough heaters povided for each room.

Great for families! It was clean, warm and had plenty of room for our group of 9 people. We enjoyed watching the kangaroo’s, peacocks, and found a bower bird nest in the front garden.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage. Talbingo is delightful and this property was conveniently located. Perfect for a quiet little getaway from the hustle and bustle. The property manager was very accommodating.

Host was lovely to talk to but the house was under par.Gone off milk in fridge,fridge not working,pots and pans unhygienic,BBQ unusable,house not clean.

We had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of blankets and heating to warm the family after our days at the snow. Tori was a pleasure to deal with, answered all our questions and was very accommodating. Will definitely be back

The house itself was really cozy. Had everything we needed for cooking and plenty of both blankets and heaters to keep us warm. It was very clean and loved the quiet town. Really helped us have a relaxing and peaceful getaway.

We had a lovely time in the holiday house, the heating was amazing and warmed the entire house up. Lots of room for family dinners (3 adults, 2 young children) and lounging / chatting. Easy stroll to shops and nearby parks. Communication was excellent with the owners and check in was at the door. Beds were all clean and very comfortable but there was only really storage for clothes in the main bedroom, a few shelves in the other 2 bedrooms would be really handy (especially I can imagine if more people were staying there). Only downsides were the 2nd TV not being connected to an aerial and the Xbox drove me to distraction on trying to work it to even play a DVD. We forgot to bring our own DVDs and all of the DVDs in the property were scratched so the TV was rended useless (which we'd planned on the kids using which was a bit of a pain as we chose the property for having 2 lounge areas with TVs). The only other negative was that the washing machine didn't work, it washes but doesn't rinse, and with 5 people and 2 under 5yrs we needed to wash and it was a long and painful process, which we didn't really want to have to deal with on holiday. Getting unspun clothes dry was a challenge and with no clothes rack either, we ended up stringing lines up in the lounge room and drying things overnight. Other than those blips, the stay was lovely. Other people had left a few things behind like coffee pods, cereal, salt, pepper & sauces etc. which we were free to use. Kangaroos in the backyard was a delight and they visited us a few times! We definitely recommend this house, yes it's an older house but everything was clean and warm and the price was fantastic!

We had a pleasant and comfortable stay at “Wijoda”. The lounge area was lovely and cosy at night and early in the morning with the gas heater and air conditioner providing ample heating. Electric blankets were provided on all the beds so cold nights weren’t an issue. Everything worked as it should and we made use of the Xbox, dvd’s & jigsaw puzzle included so much appreciated. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend to other travellers. Just a word of warning if visiting in winter - bring your ugg boots. The kitchen floor was freezing in the morning. P.S. The kangaroos making themselves at home out the backyard in the mornings was a great touch.
