It served its purpose but I was disappointed

The area was quite and relaxing.

The floor wasn’t clean. The shower water smelled awful and the water pressure was way way way too light. The water was so bad that we could not even brush out teeth with it. We had to use bottled water.

Happy with and would come back!

Nice and clean. Staff was very cordial and helpful. We were in the turner building. It had a really nice view of the river and the dock right off then balcony. After we had dinner at a nearby restaurant we enjoyed the sunset and had a good nights sleep. We went to check out and our car battery had died. We called the front desk for help and within 5 minutes security came and helped us out. They didn’t act like it was a hassle. It’s things like this that make me want to return to this quiet, peaceful place to stay. I’d have no problem recommending them.

Not much. Itis a bit confusing where to go for the rooms as it’s a large complex. But the people there are so helpful they took the time to help.

Overall positive, and I will certainly return...satisfied with the value proposition

Overall the facilities were good. My room was fine and parking convenient. I've stayed here before and will stay again.

My only complaint is the bed. The mattress, while I'm certain is durable, is VERY firm and did not lead to a good night's sleep. I've noticed the same thing at previous visits.

Very relaxing and just want we wanted.

The view was absolutely beautiful. The room was very clean and cozy. The bed slept well and was very welcoming to a tired body. We were very happy with our room and all the space we had to put our things.

The only complaint we really had was the shower. The water pressure was very low and it felt like it took forever to rinse off. Other than that we cant think of a thing wrong.

Impeccably clean and comfortable. Spacious room with a balcony overlooking the grounds. Couldn't have been better. We stayed again the night of March 2 and they gave us the very same room. Couldn't ask for more!!

I payed extra for a balcony but every room had a balcony so the ripped me off Defoe $70 extra!!!

the view and the staff was very nice!

there was banging around upstairs with water running both nights, all night! the refrigerator didn’t work! the toilet paper fell apart! the soap and shampoo was horrible! no coffee in the room and the room smelt like mildew! the door wouldn’t stay shut unless you locked it and you had to slam it when you left!

The best part of the stay was the show was on the ground of the property

The breakfast was not good wasn’t worth the $11.00 per person we got there around 9:00 closed doors and didn’t put anymore food out.

The Tv in room was small need to be bigger. Didn’t have a coffeemaker in room and my husband likes coffee at night.

There was several churches and the Tabby Slave Cabins on the grounds that was interesting.

The grounds was nice. The hotel is right on the river. Great view for sunrise and sunset. Breakfast was good.

The staff could be much friendlier and be able to give recommendations on things to do on the island or give brochures to assist with things to do. It would have been good to have weekend events at the hotel.

Beautiful and peaceful!

This was our 2nd stay at Epworth. We travel to the Golden Isles regularly and have stayed at several area hotels. Epworth is definitely a new favorite. The view from our balcony was so beautiful and the grounds so peaceful that we spent most of our first day just hanging out in our room instead of on the beach.

The only thing I would improve on is the bedding. The beds and pillows are comfortable, but the cover is literally just a sheet and a slightly thicker sheet. I knew this from our first visit so I brought a comforter from home and it was perfect. So if you are used to a sleeping with a blanket or comforter bring one with you!

If there was breakfast served Noone told us about it .Those who was at the desk wasn't as friendly as we're use to . But the bed was hard, and my husband nor I could rest properly. But the scenery was gorgeous.

Location on the island is excellent. Room had a partial view of the river, I stayed in the Robertson Inn part of the complex. Has more of a dorm feeling than a hotel.

Very good

I didn’t realize it was part of a shrine for Methodist, but it on a beautiful landscaping and history. Room was clean and facilities were clean. It was 15 minutes from downtown so it was convenient. I had beautiful view of the river and even saw dolphins. I would stay here again . There were 2 weddings while we were there.

Bikes for rental could’ve been nicer with baskets. They were expensive too.

The furnishings were dirty, outdated and warned. The bed slept horribly. We were definitely expecting more. I didn't complain during my stay because my spouse asked me not to. Disappointed
