Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Einfach ein schönes Flecken Erde inmitten der Natur im Sauerland. Für Kinder gibt es viel Bewegungsmöglichkeiten und Tierbegegnung. Man nimmt alles nicht so ernst, es geht locker, ehrlich dort zu.

Es war leider sehr hellhörig und die Ausstattung etwas in die Jahre gekommen z.B. konnten die Fenster nicht vollständig Verdunkelt werden.

Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal dort! Wir kommen wieder! Alle sind so freundilich da. Auch Anja macht einen tollen Job .

Wirklich tolle Wohnungen und super sauber. Alle sind echt super lieb dort! Ein richtig toller Familienbetrieb.

Toller Bauernhof für Kinder mit besonders netten Gastgebern

Herr Homann war überaus freundlich und auch den Kindern sehr zugewandt. Unsere Jungs (6 und 9 Jahre alt) waren täglich im Kaninchenstall und auch das Ponyreiten und -striegeln hat ihnen viel Freude bereitet. Wir hatten maximal schlechtes Wetter ( 2 Grad , Regen), aber haben das Beste draus gemacht. Der Kamin war dabei sehr angenehm.

nice farm stay with a few caveats to be aware.

The Ferienhof is great for families. There are lots of activities available for kids, like pony and horseback riding, feeding the rabbits, swimming in the pond, tractor ride and more. the property is beautiful and has lots of pretty and relaxing places.

Overall we had a pleasant stay, but there are a few things where things could be improved. There was not a lot of communication with the staff. when we checked in nobody was in the office. Only on the next day we were told that some of the activities (like horseback riding) are charged extra and learned about the prices, which were not mentioned anywhere. There is also no information about how to get e.g. more trash bags, more toilet paper etc. The office was typically empty and no-one picked up the phone on the numbers that were provided. We were in apartment 2, which has a terrace and is in the “Bauernhof” building. the apartment has 3 doors, the 3rd door can only be shut but not locked, as no key is available. This was a bit unfortunate as that door goes directly to the street, and the kids could just open the door and be right on the street. It was also noisy, in addition to the faming machines that drive past you can hear everything that happened in the apartment above and there was construction across the street. The house is also not very well insulated and even in June the heater was running despite really warm weather.

Good for one time, but never again

Big place Friendly staff.We have needed an extra bed, and they provided a mattress for us.

Wifi doesn't work at all. And on top of that due to the propriety location your own mobile data will not work. So, if you need information to go around there you make sure to go prepared. We were not informed that we have to bring our own bed sheets and towels, and we had to pay there 12.50€ per person (about 100€ for all ). You can read about that only in the general description and not in policy and important information where I've checked. I would have appreciated a short info about it being sent to me. You remain with the impression that they are doing that on purpose.

Very good

the location is great if you want to be on a ranch. the location is lousy if you want to be in the city. the reason we chose this place is because it was the only place around that was accessible for wheelchair. so it says on the website. But even then we had to deal with 2 small "steps" and 1 normal size step. the place was huge and very very nice with warm colors and heavy fabrics. It was very very comfortable and very nice bed. It had a kitchen but we were there for less than 24 hours. It's a great place if you have kids and want to spend time in a nature area. we were just passing thru and needed a quick over night someplace. it's one of the cheapest in the area. but for one night with the cleaning fee, it turned out to be the most expensive. it's a fantastic deal if you are there for a week. Should you decide to stay here, you absolutely must go to one of the most amazing restaurants in the nearby village of Alme. google maps says it's 11 minutes away. excellent food and service. worth ever cent. It's called Restaurant Alme Schlossmühle (castel mill) just off highway 480 which was the way we came in.

I didn't like that the site said wheelchair friendly but still had to fight over 3 steps. if you are not in a wheelchair then everything at this place is perfect. It's too bad there are no photos of the rooms on booking dot com. there is on their own site in German. But the room was very nice - really
