Lovely staff and great location, room was incredibly clean. Great value for money perfect for travellers in need of a crash pad!

The room was ok size, the shower was small but good water pressure. Shower gels and soap were provided. The fridge worked fine which was good to keep stuff cold.
The bed and pillows were awfully uncomfortable and old. The mattress felt more like a backpacker than a hotel. The whole place looks dirty, the toilet seat was wet with who knows what when I went in, there was hair in the shower and crumbs of cookies on the floor. Not aircon, only a small fan. I could hear people snoring from the rooms next door and the noise from the street at night, definitely need to keep your windows shut. The whole area/neighbourhood was so dirty and it felt very unsafe specially at night!. Definitely not a city you will be comfortable as a solo traveller, first thing a stranger told me was be careful of pickpocketing as a lady was being stolen of her bag right in front of us!.. I got my phone stolen at Nice Train station.. the true French signature! Voila!

Hotel in downtown Marseille. Pretty close to Vieux Port, metro and Cours Julien. Nice room with amenities. Microwave. Tea, coffee, fridge. Clean bathroom. Marseille is expensive. This hotel gives you really good quality for the price paid. Staff is helpful and friendly.

Very friendly stuff. Excellent location near the Old Port. Very clean. The room was small and basic but there was everything you need for a short stay for one person. Tea, coffee, sugar and kettle were provided which was helpful.
This was not unexpected but you have to keep in mind that there are plenty of steep steps (I was on the third floor) and if you travel in the summer, like I did, there is only a ventilator, no air conditioning. So be prepared for this. I was absolutely ok with it.

Central and basically clean.
Noisy.

Good Price you get a full room with small fridge and bathroom
It was a bit smelly, some stains on the sheets and pillows

Neighbourhood was a bit noisy at times.

The hotel is centrally located in Marseille, within walking distance of the city's highlights and right next to one of the main tramlines. For the price, it has a confortable and clean bed and a large room with decent heating. There's the possibility of self-catering, with a microwave and a tiny kitchen.
Be warned: there's no elevator in case you desperately need one. If not, don't be warned.
The cleanliness of the rooms left a bit to be desired - specifically the shower and the chair need some deep-cleaning love.
My room was right next to a busy main street, and there were some night roadworks going on.

Staff was very nice and helpful. The only thing they couldn’t help was that extra instant coffee sachets, which is let’s face it is not essential.
Nice view from the window (Rue Rome)
Also nice that checkout times are human times.

The staff was friendly; the location is good.
There was almost no wifi in our room. Some mildew in the shower cabin and the room was a bit dirty.

Location was good and typical of Noailles. Staff was very welcoming.
Pictures and reality may be disappointing. The price was cheap but adding 30 euro of parking nearby makes the overall stay not worth it.

good location, about a km away from the main train station, but the neighbourhood wasn’t that good.. even though the man in the reception didn’t know English he was ok..
it didn’t has heating and it wasn’t clean! I was really cold during the night..
there wasn’t a door to separate bathroom with bedroom (wasn’t clear when I booked the room)

very cheap, perfect for solo travellers on budget. rooms compact and clean with essential provided, staff very friendly
In an unsafe and loud area, you need to go through an alley way to get in and can be sketch at night keep guard up,
more pillowes would have been nice

It's good money
Not really clean

The guy on reception refused to help me with my suitcase up the many fights of stairs. The cleaner helped me as I was struggling. They guys didn't seem at all interested in helping. Would not recommend this location for a female travelling alone. It's down a narrow street which is busy but the atmosphere wasn't very inviting

During the day really loud, during the night it was fine.

close to central
too many things, actually this place should not be on the list as a hotel, it was filthy, noisy, no air conditioning, very bad room.

close to the city Centre
Huuuge rats outside on the street, front door was always open I am glad I didn’t met them inside or maybe because I was at the third floor . Bathroom was too small . Room was tooooo small too. Front door is locked late in the night and they didn’t gave me keys. One of the guests heard me knock and call multiple times . If it wasn’t him I had to stay in the street with the rats .
The cute guy in the reception doesn’t drink rose wine :(
