I'm so upset about my experience

I just like how clean is it

I didn't like how difficult to get to the room and walk between buildings, I didn't like the absence of the AC even though the weather is too hot. I didn't like how they are opinionated when I ask them to cancel the reservation because it was impossible to live in this room. So I lost the whole amount of money for three days without a refund even partially.

It was good but could’ve been better.

The property was clean

Our bathroom was not attached. We had to get out of our room and go to the bathroom which was not a pleasant experience. You couldn’t really see that much of the lake from the balcony. Plus booking through hotel website gave you free breakfast however we booked through booking.com and that did not get us free breakfast. Breakfast was 10 per person.

Amazing

An incredible stay!!! Everyone from the staff was extremely caring and always willing to help. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again !! Cannot thank them all enough. 100% recommended. The view of the lake from our room was breathtaking.

awesome small hotel with a great staff

everything was great, from the kindness of Rosana, Gaia, Claudia and Mattea, to the charm of this small but awesome property, which gave me a time to remember in the towns surrounding Lake di Como.

Hotel Loveno a lovely spot

The staff were brilliant, very helpful and friendly the view from the balcony was lovely, though that does of course mean a bit of a steep climb up from the town, if you are reasonably fit you will be fine. Worth it for the view . Breakfast worth getting, very good value

Some noisy people that were on a balcony opposite us though that's not the hotels fault, no air con.

The staff are extraordinary! So helpful with everything, even gave us a ride to the bus station. Can't praise them enough.

The walk up to the hotel is a little hard but this fact is openly advertised so we knew about it. To be honest the view and the peace make the walk well worth it.

charming small hotel on budget with nice views of the lake

a nice little hotel just off the road close to Menaggio. we got a free room upgrade with the view on the lake, which was fantastic. overall enough space and the room was clean. we also loved the breakfast in the morning and staff were super friendly

since the hotel is located just next to the road, it was a bit noisy at night. I’d suggest having a pair of earplugs if one wants to get a full night sleep

Beautiful hotel

We had a room without a balcony which was a shame but our fault for booking so late. The room was spacious and clean and the grounds were lovely. It is a walk up a hill to get to so bare that in mind when booking but we didn’t mind.

The most lovely gem of a hotel with five star hotel service!

The staff were the most generous and kind people who treated us like family. The rooms were spacious and clean and had lovely decor. Our view was incredible! Lastly, the breakfast was generous and delicious.

We loved our stay there. The hotel is a little bit up the hill. It’s really cozy and looks exactly like the pictures. There are rooms with balconies facing frontal the lake. Our room was on the side of the hotel and you still were able to see the lake from the balcony. They have a small restaurant/bar and you also can sit on the terrace with a lake view. They also have parking for guest around 8 cars so it was no problem. The staff was really friendly, we even were able to eat the breakfast at our balcony. All in all, a perfect stay. Menaggio itself is a cute town, with a few restaurants and bars. make sure ti make reservations for dinner as it was nearly impossible to eat without one

No AC (traveled in August) and the journey up from the ferry with luggage in the heat was pretty awful. The bus system in the town isn’t great

Friendly, family run hotel with great views

The view is amazing from this hotel. The staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you. Breakfast is nice and you get the fantastic view from the breakfast room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a powerful fan that made the room cool enough to sleep in.

The walk back from town is hard work in the heat. We managed it but if you have mobility issues you would struggle.

Amazing Hotel with marvelous view

It's a villa Hotel with a very kind and friendly staff and owners. The room was fantastic and well equipped, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good (crispy croissant, omlett, egg, etc) and fresh. You can eat in the garden also. Menaggio center is around 10 minutes walking from the house, you can park at the hotel free of charge. I can recommend them!

No Aircon but great staff and beautiful hotel.

The property is beautiful with a great view and kind Staff. They were very accomodating with me being vegan; making sure there were options at breakfast and dinner. The restaurant at night is great with a stunning view and some of the best food we have eaten.

It is an uphill walk to get to which is hard with luggage when there are no Ubers or Taxis. The room had no aircon which made it uncomfortable and hard to sleep at night.

beautiful property, courteous owner operator, clean rooms

no a/c, no shuttle service to get there and taxis don’t want to come get you. far walk to anything and step grades. owner was kind to drive us to ferry for departure.

Small simple hotel for.a short holiday

Pretty location with lake view. Nice garden. Owner and staff are very friend and the food is good.

The structure is old, hence.no facilities. Rooms are quite small. Quite a long walk to the village center.

stunning views and genuine people. very comfortable!!

stay at hotel loveno! the gorgeous staff were so helpful to me as a solo traveller. thank you! the property was gorgeous! very well kept garden and the jasmine smelled delicious! the room was large and quiet. I was in an upstairs garden room and the view from the balcony was gorgeous - the cliffs above and the tropical trees below. the common area inside and out have the best view out to the lake. I loved my stay! breakfast was fantastic, I asked for the eggs each day. I even stayed for dinner one night and had the eggplant parmigiana which was delicious.

The view out onto the lake from our room was amazing. Paolo and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great.

Where to begin... Probably from the fact that I regret very much that it was only one night in this wonderful place. Charming guesthouse / hotel located at the point from which there is a fantastic view of the lake. Rooms clean and well maintained, and again with a wonderful view from the terrace. Plus the atmosphere that makes you feel at home :) We'll definitely come back there again and this time for longer :)
