About this villa rental
Villa Febea is an historic residence dating back to the 1700's, originally a retreat for Cardinals and Bishops, and it continues to be a perfect place for relaxation and meditation.here also remains a beautiful church from the 1800's on the property which is still consecrated.
Guests of the villa's previous owners included famous names from the world of entertainment such as Federico Fellini, Anna Mazzamauro, Silvia Coscina and Corrado Mantoni.
The villa is reached by an enchanting cypress tree lined drive and is surrounded by 16 hectares of beautiful grounds, which can be explored using a network of wonderful pathways. The grounds are also home to a splendid Etruscan Grotta.
During Villa Febea's restoration I have retained many of its original characteristics, and at the same time with ten years of experience in the hospitality business I have provided all the modern conveniences to offer guests a comfortable and unforgettable holiday.

We had a wonderful 80th birthday celebration for my mom and everyone in our group aged 8 to 80 had a wonderful time. Alice, the property manager made us feel so welcome and made everything very easy for us. From restaurant recommendations to organizing meals at the house she truly went above and beyond. The home is even more beautiful than in the pictures and is perfectly located.

The villa was amazing. There were 14 of us ranging in age from 82 to 10 from New Zealand, Canada & London and there was plenty of room to spend time together as a group or have alone time.
The pool and table tennis table was used frequently by all of us.
We thoroughly enjoyed our welcome dinner and the traditional Tuscan dinner that was cooked for us at the villa and the pizza night was a hit also.
We had a great experience truffle hunting - this was something that none of us had seen before and the meal afterwards was delicious.
Alice was an amazing hostess and tour guide when we went on a wine & cheese tasting tour to Montepulchiano. Thank you so much for everything.

Our family of 11 stayed at the villa in early June. The owner and manager of the property were available and very helpful. The Villa was spacious and very clean. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces and the pool. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the beautiful view. Grocery and small shopping mall very close. Easy access to the towns in Tuscany. Highly recommended!

Awesome villa with everything you wish, communication with the concierge and all the organization was top notch!

First, I would like to thank Alice so much, who hosted us all week with a magnificent breakfast every morning with great conversation, Beatles and help with travel and tour advice and recommendations. She even made some reservations for us at restaurants and a cheese farm and wineries!! We had an incredible vacation at this villa. It is exactly as described and more beautiful in person. The architectural details and the cleanliness of the villa and the grounds were stunning! Jacopo really did an incredible job restoring this villa and updating all of the bathrooms and rooms. Every bathroom was beautiful, new and clean with excellent water pressures and heat and so much space! The views from the villa over the hilly Tuscan countryside were breathtaking! The grounds themselves around the villa with the olive orchards and wooded trails and then of course the pool and whirlpool were all immaculate, picturesque and gorgeous. I know I am ranting on, but it was so much better than we expected, and we went in with high expectations. Also, having the villa stocked with 50-100 bottles of fantastic Tuscan white, rose and red wines was also a great treat! We all drank plenty. We also did the welcome dinner and cooking class with Alice and her chef. I'm sorry but I can't remember her name. But all of the food was delicious and so much fun to eat on that enormous dining room table. Driving around Tuscany and then taking the train for day trips into Florence and Rome was easy

Our family stayed at the villa for a week. 20 of us, young kids, young adults, all the way to grandparents and great grandparents. We had an amazing time.
The property is stunning, spacious, ideally located. Couldn't have asked for anything better. AND the team that works there is world class.
I booked this villa because from the first email I sent, before I even booked, the team went above and beyond to help my family and I in our planning. They were so available to help throughout the whole process.
I definitely recommend the daily breakfast spread that the staff can do for you. Makes life so easy! And we loved the heated pool and hot tub! I can't say enough great things about the property or the team. I hope to return one day!!

Three generations of our family spent two weeks at this beautiful villa, and it was a very special vacation. The villa, grounds and pool are maintained in perfect condition - just the right combination of old-world charm with modern conveniences. The kids loved the pool, and the adults very much enjoyed the cocktail hour in the beautiful grounds by the pool at the end of the day.
We love to cook, as a family, and found everything we needed to prepare meals in the huge kitchen. We also had several dinners prepared by the staff - the welcome and traditional Tuscan dinners were delicious, the food plentiful - more than enough for some big appetites.
But the highlight of our time at the villa was the daily breakfast prepared by Alice - a large selection of breakfast foods and several daily surprise specials at a very reasonable price. As good as the food was, the real treat was spending time with Alice every morning - a fascinating person who served as our unofficial tour guide, concierge, resident expert in all things Italian - providing valuable tips on each day’s planned excursions. She even helped direct one of our group to the villa on the phone - please heed her advice to use Google maps for driving directions - car GPS and Apple maps were not as accurate. Alice arranged a winery tour and lunch in Montepulciano and it is not to be missed - a memorable day.
You will not be disappointed in any way by staying at this villa - enjoy - and give Alice our best.

We had a group of 11 adults stay for a week earlier this month. The villa was very clean, close to the highway, and plenty of space for all of your guests. The villa has a nice washer and dryer to use. There is delicious and reasonably priced wine. If you want to use the pool opt to have it heated. Bathrooms are all updated and the water pressure is excellent. Instead of shopping and cooking ourselves we opted to have our meals cooked by the villa staff. The food and service was always great. Alice, the villa coordinator set up all of our tours. We visited wineries, Tuscan towns, and a wonderful sheep farm cheese tour. She also arranged our airport/ Train pickups and drop offs. If you want an easy carefree trip to Tuscany this is your place. I think for everything the Villa staff provided the prices were reasonable . Our group had a great time. Cant wait to go back.

Amazing villa . All bedrooms have new bathrooms w showers. Very close to highway and town. . Dinners prepared by villa staff were excellent but somewhat pricey. Pool was always clean and well kept. Only issue was lots of mosquitoes , especially near pool area. . Bring bug spray !!' and purchase some citronella candles for use near pool and outdoor dining tables. Lots of outdoor and pool seating available ... highly recommend this villa for big groups (20+)

This home is located in southern Tuscany, limiting with Umbria. Wonderfully upkept and extremely confortable, it has everything needed for a large group stay. We were 19 members of one family ranging in age from 6 to 76 years. The large indoor and outdoor tables allowed for unique family interactions. Thw swiming pool area was complemented by large umbrellas, many reclining chairs and tables and became the highlight to relief the very hot July summer. A ver large kitchen with 2 refrigerators helped us manage the cooking without problems. In addition, 14 rooms each with its own bathroom made getting ready for early trips, a cinch.
Closeby, the town if Chiusi had everything we needed, easy to obtain.
Most importantly, owner Jacoppo Baiocco and his associate Alice Pudda are truly wonderfully responsive, caring and professional. They organized and prepared a delightful birthday celebration dinner in the house, and in a separate day transfered some of our family members to the Rome airport before dawn. We cannot emphasize how well kept the property is and how everything advertised was real.
Our group had a magical week in this beautiful home and for this we thank Jacoppo and Alice.

Very well presented house with all facilities. lovely views of the area.
Impressed with the internet, available everywhere in the house and by the pool.
Not far from village and supermarket.

The Villa, its grounds and location far surpassed our expectations and was ideal for our family group of 18 adults. All bedrooms had air con and Wi-Fi and the villa is spacious enough for everyone to have their own privacy and alone time. We had three dinners with a diverse mix of dietary requirements that were all fully catered for and delicious. Jacopo and his team especially Alice are professional, friendly and extremely helpful. The location is quite secluded so cars are required but, many interesting towns and sights are an easy drive away. We had a memorable family week!

The Villa suited our needs perfectly . 12 adults and 3 children under 6 .
All rooms were en suite with air con and WiFi so the young adults loved their own privacy . The young children loved the pool ( they found it rather cool but adjusted to it )
Everything you need is provided and it’s so spacious for a group of 15 . We had a fabulous time just chilling in good weather and as a base to visit Florence , Viterbo and the lovely Perugia . Great rail links . The family loved the water park at lake Trasemino . Certona is just lovely .
Jacopo was friendly and professional . Thank you
A memorable week .

We are a group of family and friends who often travel together. We have stayed in beautiful villas all over the world but this villa was our absolute favorite. The pictures do not do the villa justice - our group must have looked at the photos a hundred times or more and still we were awe struck when we finally drove through the gate and stepped foot in the villa. Jacopo was very patient with our many questions and even gave us his code when we rented a car which got us a very nice discount. We had the Welcome dinner which featured lasagne with bechamel sauce which is a version none of us had ever had before and it was sort of life changing. The Traditional dinner was also very good. We cooked a lot and the kitchen is well equipped. We drank a ton of the white wine that was available at the villa - it is very good and affordable. Our loud, crazy, fun loving group agreed that our week long stay at the villa was the highlight of our vacation. None of us wanted to leave and several of our children have declared that they will be moving to Italy …permanently! If you are hesitant to book this villa, don’t be! You won’t regret it - I promise - and when you get there, tell Gino (the resident cat) that there’s a bunch of Chicagoans who miss him very much!
5.0
The Villa exceeded our expectations - with lovely surroundings and plenty of room for our five families to spread out. Its location is well suited for local outings as well as traveling north and south on the A1. Jacopo and his team are extremely professional, there to assist with all of our requests. And his home cooked dinners are not to be missed.

Really nice villa and the host was very helpful. It is quite secluded so you absolutely need a car. Suggest organising pool heating before arrival if in the colder months as it took a few days to get up to temperature. Everyone was happy with the villa.

We were 21 people for a family reunion in Villa Febea. Now we all seem to be suffering from Tuscany Withdrawal Syndrome. Our stay was perfect in every way. The house is spacious, the pool area outstanding, the vast grounds affording good walks and magnificent views. We had a silent memorial in the lovely chapel, enjoyed yoga classes in a zen-like circled area , danced and sang in the moonlit courtyard, and spent magical moments together. Some of us visited nearby places and went wine tasting in neighboring vineyards. When our week ended, there wasn’t a dry eye at the farewell banquet. Jacopo, our host, was always available for help and advice. David, our chef , regaled us every day with Tuscan treats and homemade bread. How many times did we sneak into the kitchen, where he always left a big bowl of fruit and plates of cookies and cakes? We drove off in cars loaded with picnic bags, wine, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and memories we will cherish . Thank you, Villa Febea, for working magic on our family.

We were a group of family and friends including 14 adults and an 18-month-old toddler, who spent the week of August 7 at the villa. At the end of the week, no one wanted to leave! Over the past 25 years, we have rented numerous villas in Tuscany, Umbria, Sicily, and the south of France, and Villa Fabea is the best yet. Before and during the trip, Jacopo Baiocco was great to work with, quickly answering all of our inquiries. He even provided a crib and bedding for the toddler.
Driving up the long, beautiful tree-lined drive, we arrived at the villa and were greeted by a Jacopo and a fluent English-speaking colleague who toured us throughout the villa, pool and neighboring building.
Jacopo has thought of so many things that make this villa work for large parties. The kitchen has two electric drip coffee pots (not normally found in Italy) and two large refrigerator/freezer combinations. The ground floor bedroom and its bath are handicapped accessible (again, not normally found in Italy). The handsome, spacious bedrooms all have en suite bathrooms with hair driers. All windows have screens. In addition to the inside dining room, there are two outside dining areas and a grill, which was cleaned every morning. The beautiful pool with its numerous lounge chairs is shaded in the morning and the late afternoon, making it a great place to gather on hot August days. Our first few days topped 100 degrees, so we were grateful for the air conditioning in the villa as well.
Set on a large acreage with walking paths to explore, the villa is very private. That said, it is convenient to so many things. The entrance to the A1 is only a few minutes away. We explored both the well-known hill towns of Cortona, Assisi, Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino, but also smaller, less-known towns such as Panicale. Chiusi itself was a charming surprise.
Other reviews have mentioned the PAM grocery store. We also liked the Simply grocery store near the train station in Chiusi. Although smaller than the PAM, it is easier to get around and is very well stocked with a good butcher and cheese counter. The markets in Chiusi, on Monday in the new town and Tuesday in the old town, offer fresh vegetables and meat and cheese vendors. One evening we arranged through Jacopo for a cooking class to be presented at the villa. We had a pasta-making demonstration, and were able roll some of the local “pici” pasta noodles ourselves.
We are planning our return.

Staying in this property was like a dream! can't say enough good things about the house, the grounds, the location, the views! We had the Tuscan dinner as a welcome dinner and it was awesome! Quick and easy to get to train station and to Chiusi. Make sure you have or rent a car! Also easy drive to many cities in Tuscany.

Party of 20, stayed for 2 weeks. Had an incredible time. So much space in the villa, plenty of room, pool is beautiful- stocked with rafts. Exceptionally clean. changed out linens after first week. Pool and grill cleaned every morning. Gated driveway, very secure. Church on grounds is beautiful. We made arrangements for a private Mass one Sunday. Air conditioning throughout villa, each bedroom has own thermostat and bathroom. Two huge refrigerators in kitchen. Covered long table outside with plenty of seating for all of us to eat dinners. We arranged to have two meals prepared: Welcome Dinner and Tuscan Dinner. They were absolutely delicious! Highly recommend.
Train station is 10 min away in Chiusi, very convenient. Also, 10 min in other direction is a large grocery store called PAM.
Great location as we did several day trips to Montepulciano, Orvieto, Arezzo, Siena, Assisi, Perugia, Florence, Rome, Monteverdi (for Jazz music performance located beautiful hilltop in boutique hotel.)
Short hike to Hot Springs in Bagni di San Filippo.
Jacopo and his staff are super friendly and run a tight ship from cooking the meals, cleaning, scheduling etc. He was always available whenever I texted and quickly replied.
The Villa grounds are so private and great to walk around and explore, the kids especially liked the paths on hillside behind villa leading to a little cave.
Villa has 10 bedrooms. One couple stayed in Annex which is bldg behind pool for another bedroom.
I cant say enough about this beautiful Villa and what a wonderful stay we had. Highly recommend for large party.

We had a wonderful week at Villa Febea and would come back anytime. The villa is incredibly beautiful, well equipped and quiet. We celebrated our wedding in the small private church, which is perfect for a small intimate and romantic wedding! Jacopo's team cooked an excellent dinner and was very helpful during the whole planning process! We would love to come back for another holiday! Thank you for everything!

Our extended family (19 persons) was allowed to spend 7 unforgettable days in this beautiful, very well maintained and spacious property. In the very tastefully and really perfectly furnished house nothing was missing. The landlord Jacopo arranged everything perfectly and thought of everything. The house is very clean, state-of-the-art and very spacious. The luxurious property is very picturesque and always opens new impressions. It is Tuscany as one imagines it and wishes. We enjoyed it very much and will come back again.

We very much enjoyed our family gathering at the villa. The service was excellent and the staff very attentive. The grounds are beautiful and the villa is very nice and comfortable.

We had a wonderful family celebration at Villa Febea, in a group of up to 20 persons. Jacopo and his staff were very professional and helpful in anything we needed and even arranged for a mass in the charming capela inside the Villa.Facilities are fully updated in a historic building, very comfortable and cozy. Every room has its private bath, so large groups can do things together and still retain privacy. Region nearby has plenty of small historic towns, most off beaten paths, but worth visiting for those who love Toscana countryside.
