About this house rental
Beautiful home, newly remodeled ready for your family. Perfect location (less than a mile from Parris Island) and centralized to all military bases, shops, restaurants and local beaches. Savannah International Airport is about 45 minutes away and Charleston Airport is about 90 minutes away. The home is pet friendly ($120 per pet fee) and we ask that you keep the pet crated while not at home. No cats are allowed, as I am highly allergic. 1 dog/animal max. No cats, birds, rodent, reptile. No animal on furniture! Any stains will require an additional fee paid by guests as a damaged fee. I live nearby as well so I am always just a phone call away. Late check-out fee: $50 per 30 minutes unless prior arrangements were made. No parking on grass! Blocking or disconnecting cameras or sensors is grounds for immediate removal without refund.

Overall the unit was clean for the most part, spacious and we loved having the large fenced in yard for our dogs. However, the dog bowls were dirty when we arrived (we brought and used our own) and there was a strong odor of cleaning products that seemed to be masking dog odors that lingered our entire trip. Our dogs are hypo-allergenic so dog odors may be more sensitive to us than other dog owners.

Great location, close to a majority of shops and restaurants. We loved being able to use the porch on the breezy evenings while utlizing the grill. People in the neighborhood were friendly and helped when our dog dashed out the front door. The property manager was great to work with and answered any questions we had. I will recommend to others I know that visit the area to stay here.

We loved renting this home. It was just what we needed for our short stay. Clarissa was very helpful whenever we needed her. The only thing the home needs is a TV in the 2 guest bedrooms. Other than that we will definitely be staying again ❤️

Great location for Marine gradusation
Perfect location for Graduation. Being from the dry climate all the green growing on everything was different for us.
The house is older than most, but everything works well.

A great place for Marine families
This property is only about 15-20 min from Parris Island, making it perfect for families who are coming to see their Marines graduate from boot camp! It’s very close to major stores. It’s equipped with all the kitchen amenities you need as well as an outdoor grill and fire pit if the weather is nice. Two spacious bedrooms for two couples and a room with two twin beds for the kids. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Family time
This property is perfect for family. We travel down from New Jersey a lot as our daughter lives locally. The property is a great location and very spacious. Clarissa was very prompt in responding and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Grandson's graduation stay
The house was just what we needed. We were a party of 8, ranging in age from 65 to 13. There was plenty room for everyone. Books, games and puzzles were available for our use.A wonderful time was had by all. Communications with our host was exceptional. Thanks for everything.

Happily comfortable and spacious
My family spent a few nights to attend my nephews graduation. It was a perfect size for us all to have our own space and get ready without too much waiting. The space and primary bedroom was perfect for my two aging parents. I had to find a home that didn’t have stairs, a step in shower, and space to move around. The kitchen was great too. We were a coffee drinking group so we bought a box of Keurig and left a bowl of a array of sugars for the next group :). The only issues I could give feedback would be the shower water pressure was weak and the smaller bedroom beds, sheets, and pillows were not comfortable and worn out and oldest than the other rooms. But the other beds were great and new pillows, sheets, and mattresses would fix that easily so not too big and for the price it was a great deal.

The space was perfect for our needs. There were some concerns that I made the owner aware of. Hopefully they were taken care of. Needs a thorough cleaning and some TLC.

We enjoyed staying at this house. It was clean and very nice area for animals and kids. I do feel as if it is a little overpriced for a weekend stay. Over all rating is a 4.

Good experience
The house was nice and newly remodeled, the backyard was nice and larger than expected. I have to agree with another reviewer that the house was not as clean as I’d hoped. A little sandy, counter tops not wiped down. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I’d recommend to others.

Absolutely perfect; just what we were looking for!
The house was amazing! Our family was visiting the Island for our 3rd son’s graduation, not only was the house/amenities absolutely wonderful, communicating with Clarissa was almost like speaking with a long-time friend. She always made herself available & immediately replied to any message I may have sent.
The location of her home was extremely convention, only being a few miles from base. There will be another USMC graduation in our future and I WILL be reaching out for Clarissa’s property again!

Great for dogs
If you are having trouble finding a place that welcomes your furry friends this is a great one. My dog loved the yard and there were food/water dishes already out. There were towels available too to clean off my pups paws before letting her back inside.

Home away from home.
We couldn't of ask for a better place!! It was like being home except Not! The place had everything we needed including a dog crate and bowls for our dogs!! It was so clean and comfortable!! The back yard was great for my kids and dogs to run around! There was even a swing which my kids loved!! If we ever head to south Carolina again we will definitely be staying here! Clarissa was great about getting right back to me with any questions I may have had. I can not even begin to put into words just how happy we were with this place! Not very many places allow you to bring your pets so this was a plus!

Excellent!
Very clean, spacious and updated home. Very close to Parris Island and local restaurants. No issues and we plan to rent the home again when we go back to the Island. March 2018.

Like home away from home!
We were looking for something close to Parris Island as we were here for a USMC Graduation. This home had everything we could have asked for. It was very neat and clean, nicely decorated, and many amenities I was not expecting. I could not have expected anything more. The owner was very helpful to us and very accommodating. We also had plenty of room in this home. The area is very nice and very close to the base, shopping and restaurants. We had no issues at all renting this home. I was very happy after hearing some of the not so good stories about some of the motels in the area. You will not be sorry you stayed here!! Thank you Ms. Wills!

BEWARE of fees and noise...
While the house was clean, this was NOT a good experience. Beware of deceptive pricing. The home is listed as an occupancy of 8 but you will be charged an extra amount per person, per night for any over the 6th person. If that is the desired occupancy, then that should be listed. Additionally, there was a very large mandatory deposit OR the purchase of an insurance policy. Add that on top of a cleaning fee, and service fee and the pricing that is listed is quite different than what you pay. In conversations with the owner, she agreed TWICE to refund me for the seventh person (a six year old child) but later refused claiming that she didn't know how to do it.
The house is very noisy as well. Anything that one person does will wake up the whole house. The pipes vibrate in the guest shower and the water comes out in spurts. The toilet in the master runs and spurts, and the outlets in all of the bathrooms and some of the bedrooms didn't work. There is a pull out cot, and the springs were all broken when we arrived - something we were blamed for as well. We asked for a late check out as we were leaving right after our son graduated from Parris Island, to which she agreed to letting us stay an extra 45 minutes. She then used this as an additional reason to not refund money that she had already agreed to refund. Marine families, BEWARE. We were in a rush to make sure to have a place to stay so we booked even with the extra fees, but given an opportunity to do it again, I certainly would not.

Not what I expected.
Our weekend started with the owner not sending us the code to get in the front door. She then failed to respond to my multiple messages. Check-in time was 4:00PM. And while I told her it would be after 7:00PM before I arrived, it was actually 7:45PM before she finally called me with the code stating she had "computer issues". As this was a fairly new rental, I expected it to be clean. I was sadly disappointed. I wish there was a way to attach the pictures I took. The grass in the front yard was over a foot tall, and the front porch was covered in leaves. It actually looked like an abandoned house from the outside. I'm not sure the inside of the house had been cleaned recently either. The bathroom rugs were filthy. I was glad there was a washing machine, because I immediately laundered them. There was dust on the surfaces of most of the furniture, and food (popcorn and chips) on the rug in the den area. I had to vacuum as we had a toddler who wanted to eat the leftover "treats". When I went to fix breakfast the first morning, I found the frying pan covered in rust. I have stayed in multiple VRBO rentals (including one in Beaufort) and have never been disappointed. I'm sorry to say that I will not recommend this rental to anyone.

Beautiful home and wonderful location!
I would highly recommend staying here to anyone! The home owner had everything ready for us early, supplied everything we needed as well. The beds were also very comfortable and looked to be recently renovated. I will be staying here again whenever we travel back to Beaufort. I wish I could rate the place 10 stars, thank you Clarissa!!

Great property to stay at in the Beaufort/Port Royal area
The property was more than we had hoped for. It was in excellent shape, nice and clean. The owners were prompt in answering any questions or addressing any issues that we had. Was perfect for us attending the Marine Corps graduation. Would definitely recommend it if you are planning on spending time in the area.

We stayed for two nights to attend Family Day and Graduation on Parris Island. The house was the perfect distance between Parris Island and Beaufort. It was clean and had everything we needed for an easy trip.

Great house...feels like home. Spacious, clean, modern amenities
The house is approximately 15 minutes from Parris Island. It is a very easy commute. This house was great for our family. We had 8 guests...some older and several teenagers. All the family members had what they needed to make this a wonderful stay. The owners were more than accommodating to our needs.
