As the sun goes down in the evening, take a dip in the luxurious hot tub. Enjoy the view from the deck, or wander down toward the creek for a closer look. The Arroyo backyard truly has something for everyone. Grill masters are encouraged to use the charcoal grill for a classic cookout, while other chefs may enjoy roasting s’mores over the firepit! We had the best quick get away for my husband and I. It was such a great location and the listing is exactly what you get. The owner was very communicative and helpful. Location was perfect, close to everything but also very secluded and private. We had the best time and can’t wait to get back, seriously!

Great space, love the backyard. Was underwhelmed with no coffee/tea available—that’s a hospitality standard. I thought it was really odd that none of the front facing windows had curtains or screens… made me uncomfortable

Nice, quiet spot. Lots of shade, creek would have been better if it was running, but it was August in Texas. Master bedroom, didn’t stay very cool, the rest of the house did.

We needed a healthy dose of nature to clear our minds of the everyday stressors and this place provided everything we needed and more. It was very peaceful and we had ample privacy. The hot tub was a nice touch to help us truly unwind and relax.

This property was very nice and in a super peaceful area. We stayed for 3 nights and for the most part, really enjoyed ourselves. The house itself was clean, had fresh linens, and overall had nicely appointed furniture. The property itself is beyond peaceful... the house is set back on a long driveway, with views of a creek behind the house along with oak trees providing a shaded little oasis. That all said, we did have problems with bugs... which we noticed almost as soon as we settled into the house for the first night. I couldn't figure out how they were getting into an otherwise clean and tidy house? Then I checked the doors that lead to the back deck and realized that there was gaps in them, specifically the master bedroom as well as the living area. These gaps were very noticeable, as in you can see daylight through them. And on the bottom door in the master bedroom, the door sweep was falling apart and not providing a good seal to the outside. When I came on here to leave my review, I read several people mention the bugs and door issues (in the past month or two)... this is an easy and relatively cheap fix that would prevent guests from having to play "exterminator" during their stay. As someone who lives in the deep south near wetlands, I know all about the need to properly seal the doors. It's a must. I hope this gets fixed soon, the place is otherwise lovely and a good value in my opinion!

We came to get away from the noise and stress of the city and didn’t want to leave!
The kitchen is great, queen bed uncomfortable, and the hair dryer needs replacing. The door to the porch from the master bedroom doesn’t seal completely. We enjoyed the reverse osmosis water and convenience to town!

It was just a 2 night getaway, but much needed. The location is great. Not in town but just a 10-15 min drive to town. It is very peaceful at night and has an amazing porch to relax in the morning. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Upon arrival we were SO excited about our little house in the Hill Country. The layout is great and we loved the deck with hot tub and backyard scene. The open concept kitchen and gathering space was great. However, we definitely had some issues during the week. Many supplies were limited like there were no hangers or lighter fluid and charcoal for the grill. The glass coffee pot cracked early in our stay and I had to follow up with that to finally get a new one. But what really mattered was the foul-smelling and discolored water especially coming out of the bathroom faucets and showers. This problem got progressively worse as the week went on and left a pink residue in the bathtub and sink and pink tint on some of our clothing in the wash. And finally the large insect which appeared on our bedroom carpet the morning before we left (which I won't name but is not one you want in your house) was pretty much the last straw. When we contacted the management company about the water and insect they were rather dismissive saying this is common in the Hill Country. We did notice the bedroom door to the deck does not make a tight fit so it could have easily come in there. They offered to come out and spray but we were leaving the next day so we declined. This is the first negative VRBO review we have ever left. We have had such great experiences with the ones we've rented and we always try to be respectful guests. For what we paid to stay here we really expected more than we got.

The only downfall was the communication between the property manager & us. We asked for an early check in but didn’t get a response until a day later. The house was in great proximity to various things we enjoyed. ATV riding, horseback riding, and zip lining.

Enjoyable stay. Close to town. Very comfortable bed. Very clean. Only complaint it’s located near a Hwy so a little noisy if you like enjoying your morning coffee on back porch. Saw several deer!! Loved the open concept kitchen/lvg room.

This is one of the cleanest houses I’ve stayed at, even the hot tub was very clean! My only complaint was the mattress in the secondary bedroom. It needs to be replaced as soon as possible. The house is perfect for couples or families, great location!!

We had 4 adults in our party, and this lovely home provided the perfect place to rekindle our 20+ year friendship. With 2 master suites, a super workable kitchen, and a great den area - this home provided the perfect setting. And the back deck overlooking the creek was so nice to walk out on. We even and an 8-point buck and a doe pay us company! Highly recommend!

The back of the house is pretty close to the highway, but the windows on the front side open out to beautiful creek-side views. I lived on the porch, it was a great way to be outdoors while working, and I lived FOR the hot tub! A great amenity. Just a note, there is a good filtered water tap in the kitchen, and I would recommend using that for brushing your teeth etc. because the well water has a pretty strong taste. I would love to come back some time!

Did a weekend girls trip with my best friend and we absolutely loved this house. It was so beautiful and the surroundings incredibly peaceful. It's a really short drive into Wimberley which was perfect. We saw a deer in the front one night which added to the beauty. I would totally stay here again.

My friend and I only stayed one night but we loved it. We very much appreciated the comfortable accomodations, lovely decor, and the serene environment, and the close proximity to the Wimberly square and the HEB.
The host thought of everything and the toiletry essentials provided were very much appreciated since we only stayed one night. It was so refreshing to actually have hand soaps at all the sinks! The only complaint we had is that the hot tub was set to 91 degrees and we really wanted to enjoy it during the cooler evening, but it wasn't warm enough. We tried letting it heat but I think it was just taking awhile. Overall, great stay and we will absolutely book this one again since we love coming to Wimberly.

The place was very welcoming. Loved the decor.
Just a couple things. The door was a struggle to get in. One wine glass. Only one kitchen towel. That’s it really.
Liked the the hot tub was ready. After a long drive in I was ready to get in and relax. Had a great time. Very relaxing

The house is very nice. There’s a hot tub which we did not use due to the fact that to keep a hot tub clean you have to use chlorine and my fiancé is allergic to chlorine so but it looked wonderful. It was very well kept love the fact that there was a grill outside, even though we didn’t use it Did not use the junior bedroom with queen bed, but it was very nice good shower, nice bathroom the master was great myand a nice shower did not use any of the accessories due to certain allergies, but they were a nice set ups for the guests.
We were not in the house much, but the house was very well air-conditioned. The appliances were very nice , the only thing lacking from a normal stay at a Vrbo was there was no coffee, but we were there only a short time and only a few minutes away from downtown Wimberley
All in all it was a five star property very easy to find very close to town and a beautiful setting, which I’m sure had not been the summer of hell in Texas probably would’ve had water in the creek behind.
We live in the neighborhood and had guest in town and had not done a VRBO but we would highly recommend this location and this property .
