The beauty of Palmižana is linked to the Meneghello family who for more than a century has been devoted to creating in this piece of island, originally only rocky and barren, a cultural paradise for tourism.

It is a paradise of flora and fauna, without cars or means of transport, except for boats, and is therefore the ideal place for those who love nature. You can go for long swims or walks to discover the numerous bays.
The island is easily accessible by taxi boat from the port of Hvar, in just 10-15 min. navigation you arrive already at the ACI MARINA of Palmižana. Once the reservation has been made, it is possible to request an optional transfer service Hvar / Palmižana / Hvar, the cost is
12 EUR / one way / person (0-8 years free) and is payable locally with cash or credit card (no Amex).

The closest airport is in Split.

The Orange villa is located in the Meneghello Resort, is surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean vegetation and has a wonderful view of the south bay.
The interiors are rich in colors of warm and vibrant shades of orange and outside the large terrace will allow you to enjoy the sunny summer days and romantic starry skies.
Inside you will find paintings and sculptures that are part of the owner's private collection who for 50 years has collected the works of the most famous Croatian artists as well as having created over the years the arboretum in which the entire resort is immersed.

The villa consists of a comfortable lounge with a sofa, ideal for 2 extra guests, preferably 2 children;
1 double room with comfortable double bed;
a kitchenette with small fridge + 1 electric kettle for tea and coffee;
An internal bathroom with shower and an external bathroom with shower;
Air conditioning / electric heating, independent entrance;
a large terrace with outdoor furniture (deck chairs, table with chairs and umbrella) overlooking the bay.

For security reasons, cooking is strictly prohibited, as the island is very lush and green, but our guests can eat at the renowned Meneghello restaurant, which is located less than 100 meters from the villa, with special treatment.
The restaurant is famous for its delicious Dalmatian specialties and fish dishes and its terraces are surrounded by beautiful vegetation and an enchanting view towards the bay.
Otherwise you can choose to eat in one of the different restaurants in the bay, we highly recommend Toto's.

Wi-fi is available at the Meneghello restaurant and the service is totally free.

You can opt for a breakfast service at the Meneghello restaurant, this includes e.g. excellent Italian coffee, yogurt, a wide variety of teas, jams, honey, fresh fruit, croissants, pâtés, spreadable cheese. Both cold breakfasts and hot dishes are served (crepes, omlette ..). The cost, excluding drinks, is:

Please note that in the high season, July-August, the renowned quiet of Palmižana is replaced with a higher number of visitors and yachts. It is possible, however, to find more peace in the surrounding bays, reachable on foot or by means of a boat that can be rented on site.

Nearly every yachtie sailing the Southern Adriatic comes back to enjoy the specialties of local cuisine and fine Island wines at the Meneghello restaurant on Palmižana with their stunning settings looking over the bay.

There are a variety of choices for breakfast; these include high-quality Italian coffee, yoghurts, a variety of fresh fruit, croissants, fresh white or whole bread, a variety of jam, honey, pâté, also a great selection of cooked breakfast. Please note that the breakfast is served daily at the Palmižana Meneghello Restaurant terrace from 08.00 am to 10. 30 am or on request a later time;

The Wi-fi is possible only at Meneghello's Restaurant and the service is free.

On Palmižana small beach you can use deckchairs and sun umbrellas for free. For the main beach the Meneghello guests have a discount;

Please note that during July and August, the island and
surrounding area have a much higher influx of day-trippers, yachts. For a few weeks, the peaceful vibe is replaced with a buzzing social scene.
Once on Palmizana, you can rent a small boat if you wish to reach
more distant and secluded beaches or one of the other tiny islands of the Hvar Archipelago, recommended during the high season when the main Palmizana bay gets crowded. It's a small motorboat (no nautical license required), the cost is 500, 00 kuna / day,
full tank gas included.

Taxi boats operate between Palmižana and the town of Hvar, day and night, according to their own schedule or on request. The taxis are leaving from the Yacht Marina on the north side of the island;

Hvar / Palmizana / Hvar. A member of our local team will pick up you at Hvar port with our private speedboat and in approx. 10 min you’ll get to Palmizana, where our team will help you with the luggage.
