About this house rental
You really are at the beach! Your beach house is 2 short flat blocks from Rio Del Mar beach, restaurants, coffee shops, pizza, night club, market and the amazing Pixie's Deli. We welcome everyone including pets. Your house has a beachy/nautical feel with plenty of warm blankets and two electric fireplaces for chilly nights. Large, luxurious king-sized bed with high-end linens for your ultimate comfort. King bed in the bedroom and Sofa bed in the living room. We, as the owners are so happy to share our bit of paradise with you to make your life-long memories.
Your place is upstairs with private entrance, all to yourself, there is nothing shared.

We loved visiting this home for the fourth of July weekend with our young children and dog. The location could not be beat and made for easy daily walks to the beach. We loved all the beach decor around the home, which made it truly feel like a beach getaway. The loft and kids toys were loved by our children, and the house was well outfitted with everything we need. Thank you to Teresa and Jules, for opening your home to us and making it available for such a lovely getaway!

Great clean and safe place to stay. Short walk to Rio Del Mar beach. I love the outdoor shower before going in so you can rinse off the sand. There are steep stairs to get in and to get to the loft so if you have mobility issues that is something to consider.

Such a cute place and conveniently a few blocks from the beach. Took a short trip and wished it were longer but we will definitely be back! Aptos has our hearts always! My daughter loved the loft as she could see the stars at night out of her window, my son loved his morning walks/run around the beach… and mom and dad loved just being away from work!

This was a quaint stay in a quiet beach town. We enjoyed walking the beach and neighborhood and had everything we needed to stay comfortably. No climate control aside from heaters which was a bit cumbersome but worked out fine for us. Overall great stay!

The house was well equipped clean, and a great location. A dishwasher would be nice for sanitation purposes.

1. First things first, Teresa and Jule’s home was immaculate. Loved all of the art and the loft for the kids. Our daughter lived on the bean bag.
2. The home is so close to the beach you can hear and smell it. It’s amazing place to walk the dogs early in the morning. The kids loved it and we spent a lot of time just beachcombing and taking in the scenery.
3. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. We met some truly wonderful people. Aptos is also set easy to navigate and you can get everything you need. Santa Cruz is just a short ride away!
4. Teresa and Jules are warm and welcoming. We had no issues getting in touch with them and they truly take pride in this home. The only thing to keep in mind is home entrance is on the second floor.
We loved staying here and will be back!! Thank you Teresa and Jules for a wonderful get away!

Once I found this place, I immediately booked it for me and my two granddaughters for their spring break. It was exactly what we were looking for and was so pleased it matched the description perfectly. Walking distance to the beach was close enough for the 4 year old. Two restaurants also within walking distance and a small market! The home was beautifully decorated, had enough games and toys to keep everyone busy. The loft area will win over kids of all ages. Would definitely book again!

The property was cute and well appointed. We had a couple of small issues and the owner responded quickly and was very accommodating with making the issues right. Great little place to stay!

Only a few minutes from the beach. A bit chilly when we arrived but the electric heaters got things warmed in short order. Dogs loved it!

The prop gave immediate beach cottage vibes especially after walking through the door! The deco was spot on and the amenities were great!! Definitely a place to return to when back in Aptos!!

I loved Teresa & Jules place, it is darling! They have beach chairs and towels, even a telescope on the upstairs loft. Awesome location, 2 minute walk to Pixies Deli and Rio beach. Near all the other beaches as well. Very clean. Loved it - will be back.

This is a great little apartment! It was just right for 2 adults, 2 kids, and a dog. The unit was clean and an easy walk to the beach. Communication with Teresa was easy. We would be happy to stay there again.

We stayed for 3 nights. The location was terrific. Just minutes from the beach. The house was clean. The bedding was great, especially the pillows! The bathroom was awesome. We fell in love with the dual recliners...Would definitely recommend this place. Owners were very quick on cmmunication. We'd love to return.

Great location to both Santa Cruz and Capitola. House was 2 blocks from the beach with a great coffee shop. Loved how dog friendly it was!

We stayed at the property for two nights and three days and it was lovely. Great location, very clean and Jules and Teresa were very attentive. We had a couple of small issues and they helped us out immediately. The place was very well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Teresa and Jules we awesome hosts!

We’ve stayed here before. The apartment is very clean; well decorated with coastal accents. We knew what to expect. Clean, nice kitchen well equipped with any utensil you need.

Can’t say enough about this place. It was amazing. The kitchen is fully stocked and the loft was a really fun place for the kiddos. Located in the heart of a beautifully landscaped are right next to the beach. Couldn’t ask for more.

There were three of us plus one pup in this sweet apt so close to the beach. Very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and appreciated the coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Easy check in and out. Highly recommend.

I needed a larger space to celebrate Christmas with my adult daughters and their partners. The space worked out nicely. The kitchen had the necessary accouterments to pull it all together. Location was perfect for an afternoon walk to the beach. Both fireplaces kept us warm and added a special ambiance. I had one challenging moment getting the TV to function, I reached out to Jules and Teresa. The issue was resolved promptly via quick response. Thank you!

The location was great with a short walk to the beach. The apartment was on the small side. The living space was nice with 2 reclining chairs right in front of the TV. The kitchen was well stocked with pot and pans, plates, glasses etc. It is also stocked with Peet’s coffee which is our favorite. Only thing missing was a dishwasher. The bedroom was small, but the bed was comfortable with top notch linens and pillows. We brought our dogs with us and they settled in quite well. Just be aware that there is no yard access if you choose to bring your dogs. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The Aptos townhouse is a great spot for two adults and perhaps one little kid or a couple little kids. Our 6'2" son had a little trouble with the loft, the bed was a bit short and the ceiling a bit low. The linens and towels were top notch.
The pillows were abundant which has not been our experience with other rentals on VRBO There are a lot of Pros with the location, amenities and the ease of getting in and out. We were a little surprised that the kitchen did not have a dishwasher as in the description claimed to have "everything" you needed in the kitchen. There really is not a place to eat as a family, but the tv trays were a great addition and it was fun watching a movie while we ate take out. We really enjoyed the restaurants in the area, Perry's Deli and Venus Distillery. All in all it was a nice get away.

We loved staying at this beach bungalow two blocks from the ocean. We could hear the ocean from here! The dogs immediately felt at home and we had everything we needed for our stay. I highly recommend this place. Great hosts too!

Location is perfect if you want easy beach access. House is small, but the space is used very well. It worked well for two adults and two small kids. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware, coffee, tea. It would have been even better if there were a dishwasher.
