We had a great week in Sayulita. The pool in our casita was great and the king size beds were fantastic. Would stay again.

My family had an amazing visit to Sayulita. One reason for such a positive experience was our stay at Casita 4. This casita is so clean and comfortable. When a rental is clean, it’s easier for me to relax. I really appreciate the attention given to creating such a neat, fresh environment. The kitchen made it very convenient to prepare some meals when we didn’t feel like going out to eat. During our stay, we rarely needed the air conditioner because the ceiling fans and breezes kept us cool. We all slept very well. I especially appreciated the locally sourced furnishings and décor of the casita.
The location is ideal. It’s quiet, safe, and peaceful but with easy access to three beaches and the town center. My family felt they really got a good sense of the Sayulita community as opposed to being isolated at a generic resort.
Excellent communication with Jamie and Tony was also key to our awesome visit.
All of us are already dreaming and planning when we can return.

Really nice place. Loved the layout and setup of the casita. The location was just ok for our family with young kids. We were glad to have our golf cart to get around. Would recommend this place still!

Really nice and convenient. 10 minute walk to dt or 2 minute golf cart ride. Would stay again.

The water pressure in the left bedroom shower was the only painpoint. I think they can easily fix this to match the pressure on the other 2 showers. Great stay. Beautiful and memorable vacation

The walk is not too long and away from the center which you’ll appreciate to sleep. My only regret was that we would have like to used the living room more but it was too hot and only the bedrooms had AC. We knew this, so it wasn’t a surprise but the living room was so lovely, it would have been nice to enjoy it more.
Communication from Tony was prompt. We had a little issue with the dunk pool in Casita 4 and he dealt with it promptly.

Our expectations were fully met when we walked through the front gate!
Exactly as pictured!
Was the perfect place for old friends to meet up and catch up.
Would recommend highly!

We visited in the middle of February and had an amazing stay! Very clean unit that is well stocked with everything you need. Extremely responsive and friendly staff. Perfect location just a quick walk away from the centre, and also a very quick walk to Playa De Los Muertos which is our favourite beach. The bedrooms got nice and cold in the night even without turning on the AC (we just used the ceiling fan). Would highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back!

Jamie was a great host. Excellent communication and very friendly. Our casita looked exactly like the pictures and we really enjoyed our time. Just far enough away from the city center to enjoy the peace and quiet at night but still only took us about 7 minutes to walk everywhere. I definitely recommend this property.

This property provided a great space for two couples to share for two week vacation. Over all wonderful setting, located on top of hill overlooking town & jungle. Plunge pool was added bonus, after hot walk back from beach. With only 4 casita's, the place feels quiet and peaceful. "Sayulita Days" provided a variety of entertainment and culture. Met a few fellow guests at the main pool, they were very approachable and space did not feel crowded. The main pool small but sufficient for aquafit or swimming short lengths. Pool area, & gardens received some loving maintenance and new furniture while were were there. Differences were noted & care of owner reflected. Love the new location for the Buddha!
We did have a few disappointing challenges, but Tony and Maria were able to respond to most of our requests. Maria did a great job cleaning casita mid-vacation.
We would like to make some suggestions that would have elevated our experience to one that this space inspires.
1) Be a little more generous with Linens - Week one: two tea towels no dish cloths, or second week: two dish cloths no tea towels is not sufficient . One hand towel per couple for a week is not sufficient. Replace pillows: 'clean' pillows replaced at end of first week, had been left in washer and smelled offensive. Maria and Tony did replace pillows in a timely manner.
2) Be consistent with enough items to cook for 4 people for two weeks. Blender, stove & coffee maker were great. Replace old or lost items: only one pot to cook in, found second pot lid but no 2nd pot, 4 frying pans, no lids. One knife. Toaster oven took 15 minutes to make toast.
3) Provide Equipment in good condition: 2 Rusted rotted 'Tommy Bahama' Beach Chairs were on offer. 2 replaced with simpler folding chairs. Patio umbrella was faded and broken.
3) Provide access to a Grill.
I struggled to write this review due to the mixed nature of our experience. Although I never said more than 'Hello' to Jamie and Gord, speaking with their staff and friends that stayed at this property, I have the impression that they care deeply about this property and the quality of experience for their guests. It is unfortunate that we had our challenges but it does not deter me from recommending this property for future vacations. I am confident that they will review these suggestions with constructive intent.

My family and I stayed in Casita 4 and had a great time. The kitchen and living area were perfect for our family and the beds were cozy. Loved being so close to the beach.

Pleasant place to stay about a ten minute walk from town. Good workout up the hill each time...burns off some of those margaritas. ;) Very responsive house manager. Would be nice to have a full-size fridge and an AC unit in the main living area. Plunge pool is great. Nice walk the back route to Playa de Los Muertos.

Relaxing vacation
This is a wonderful property with great jungle views and our own personal mini pool. Our entire family really enjoyed our stay and the town of Sayulita. Property was very clean, modern , and artful. It was wonderful to listen to the birds and feel the ocean breezes while relaxing at the pool.

Good spot for Four!
Sayulita is growing like crazy and this spot is outside the busy downtown party area… but not for long- you can see the edges of the village pushing outward!
We stayed in Casita 4. We are a couple with two teenagers and we had our second kid sleep in the kitchen/lounge area, on the couch, while the first teen took one of the two bedrooms. It was perfect.
The manager, Tony, took care of us via text.
The property manager, Jamie, was constantly in touch.
Echo Jamie’s recommendation to rent a golf cart. Wish everyone in Sayulita did!

Great Spot!
This location was so great for our first visit to Sayulita! Jamie and his on site team were more responsive than any other place I've stayed, and Jamie's recs for food, golf cart rentals, and airport transportation were all spot on. Would definitely recommend renting a golf cart for the week if you want to get around with ease. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was amazing at the end of the day. The only thing I would improve is adding an A/C to the main space. It sounds like the electricity in Sayulita is expensive but I wish we had the choice to have a shared space be air conditioned for a game night or dinner at the casita. All in all though this was an amazing stay and we are so grateful to our host!

Casita #4
We stayed in Casita #4.
Tony was wonderful! He was very responsive, helpful, and friendly!
The dunk pool is a great feature to have right outside the door.
Location was nice, not too far but far enough from downtown that you can get rest. We liked that it was closer to a couple of the less frequented beaches which we ended up going to a lot.

Wonderful casita
We stayed with another couple for six nights and it was perfect! Location is just quick 8 minute walk to town or 5 minutes if you rent a golf cart. So peaceful! Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back! Thank you Jamie and team!

We enjoyed Cassita #4 with two bedrooms/baths along with a living room area and outdoor patio!! Everything was wonderful and cozy!! Tony (property manager) was very helpful and available! I definitely recommend this property!
