Close to everything yet incredibly quiet. We’ve been visiting Cave Creek for decades. This abode reminds us of the Cave Creek of long ago.

A beautiful view through every window!
A spacious, relaxing, beautiful and quirky home with plenty of room for the entire family to be together and apart. We loved dining on the back deck and enjoying the cool mornings and evenings. This house embodies southwest aesthetics and has a fascinating history. Check out the books by and about the previous owners that are available in the home.
Close to hiking paths and a regional park, a great home for those who love to hike or ride horses amongst cacti!

Great Cave Creek Stay
Enjoyed the house and the location. Great hiking is just a few miles behind the house, bars and restaurants are around the corner, and golf at Rancho Manana is around the other
corner. Excellent communication. We would come back again.

Had a wonderful location in Cave Creek and we really enjoyed all three of the outdoor eating areas. The Yard was wonderful and it had a great fire pit

Our winter escape from Michigan
We thoroughly enjoyed the property, it's rich history, and everything we did while in Arizona. Be sure to visit the Jewel of the Creek, which is only a few minutes from the property.

Fabulous Christmas
I cannot recommend this house enough. With COVID happening, it was the perfect staycation for Christmas with lots to do without leaving the house itself and a very cozy and welcoming feel. Amazing breakfast views, brisk walks around the property and fires in the fire pit every night. I can’t wait to book this house again next year.

Cave Creek property
Plus: comfortable beds and outdoor seating
Minus: property seemed somewhat neglected - random cooking equipment, some unusable because of burned in food/grease. Main bedroom has no shades for privacy or darkness and nowhere to put clothes. The roof leaked while we were there and it was never addressed by the property manager. We still give it a 4 but someone needs to spend a couple of hours going through every cupboard and checking all the bedding.

We had such an amazing time here! The decor and art made it so inviting and comfy. Loved all the separate areas to gather in. We were outside on the patios all the time. The front courtyard was great at night with the fire pit. We loved the place.

Perfect fit
With three adult males on a golf excursion and with 3 BR's and 3 Baths it made for a very comfortable weekend. We played golf, came to the Turtle House to clean up and relax on the deck and then out on the town of Cave Creek. Good location and good layout makes me recommend to singles or couples. We may be back next year if luck prevails.
Thanks

Tranquil and magical!
When we walked in, we all wanted to give up our lives and houses in California and move to the Turtle House. The house itself is so charming with its high white walls, rough hewn wood ceiling, and Mexican tiles, but it’s the textiles and art on the walls that make it so special and beautiful. There’s so much attention to detail but it doesn’t feel at all stuffy. The beds and linens are comfortable and pristine. The little daybed by the front window is the perfect reading nook. We felt like we were in the home of someone we wanted to be friends with! There’s plenty of breathing room, and the back deck with its view of a giant saguaro and magnificent desert flora and fauna (I saw a dozen bird varieties in the time it took to have one morning coffee) with mountains in the distance was hard to leave. We didn’t even get to try out the fire pit ( next time!) and never turned on the TVs but they were there if we wanted them. A great home away from home; we can’t wait to go back. Desert heaven.

charming
Extremely Charming, certainly one of a kind. Everything one needs, even band aides, sissors and sewing stuff. Wish someone would organize my drawers the same.
