1000 feet from the beach .

This property is perfect for any family vacation or getaway weekend! Check the surf by looking out the window! Ocean views from the deck; first floor living room and second floor bedroom!

Our attached guest house on the “Beach View” property has an open floor plan and is completely air conditioned. It offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The unit comfortably sleeps 8 adults in beds. The master is on the first floor and is an extremely comfortable king bed.

The ocean view bedroom on the second floor is very large. It has 2 queen beds with plenty of space for air mattress. Crib available in that room as well. This room also offers 2 sitting areas for games or reading a book. Our third bedroom is tucked on the back side of the property with beautiful garden views from the queen bed.

The first floor living and dining areas are spacious and allow for dining (table seats 8; island seats 3) playing games, chatting or watching a movie. A spacious deck located off the living area is perfect for your morning coffee or breakfast.

The yard offers something for everyone. It has plenty of space for the kids to play while you sit under the giant white oak tree reading a book. Or after the beach, enjoy the outdoor shower and head over to the shuffleboard court where you can join in on a game or sit on the couch and enjoy a glass of wine by the fire table as it warms your toes.

However you want to enjoy the outdoors, Hadley Cottage is a conveniently located spot to call home while in Narragansett. We are located across the street from beautiful Narragansett Town Beach. You can enjoy yoga on the beach in the morning and a surf lesson in the afternoon. We offer a fully stocked beach closet with chairs; umbrellas; towels; coolers; water jugs; beach wagon, sand toys and boogie boards. We are also walking distance to the famous “Sea Wall” and the historic Pier Marketplace with shops & restaurants. Or on Saturday morning, take a short drive down the road and stop by the farmers market at Casey Farm and enjoy some of Rhode Island’s finest fisheries; growers, bakeries and artist.

If you are looking to explore more of Rhode Island’s coastline check out Newport just 20 mins away. Spend the day walking the cobblestone streets where you’ll find plenty of restaurants, shops, historic mansions, polo, tennis, sailing and much more. Or take a trip to Galilee, a real New England fishing town. While there you can join a fishing charter or take the ferry to Block Island. And during High season the Fast Ferry in Quonset will take you to Martha’s Vineyard in 90mins

2024 Bookings June 1, 2024 to September 7, 2024 are Saturday to Saturday; 7 day minimum. Off street parking is available for approximately 6 standard size vehicles or 4 large truck/suv sized vehicles. Should you have any special needs or requirements, please feel free to email us. Sorry no pets allowed. We have a five year old mini golden doodle on the property. NO events or large gatherings of any kind without owner approval. No smoking indoors or outdoors on the property. As of May 2024 commercial properties (rentals) do not qualify for season beach passes. Daily passes can be purchased at the entrance.

What a wonderful weekend we had here! First off, the home is beautiful, very clean, loaded with all the essentials right down to the coffee bar! The ability to walk right down the street to the beach was important to us and it was a very short walk! The backyard is an oasis with beautiful flowers, comfy seating areas and dining areas too. Kathy it was a pleasure to meet you! We are definitely going to stay again.

I have been going to Narragansett for years and that is the best rental yet. The place is immaculate and quiet and well supplied so you don't have to bring linens. Very easy and close walk to the beach. The owner is very responsive.

An ideal place for our family to enjoy getting ready for our daughter’s wedding. Lovely rooms, comfortable beds, Kathy is friendly and helpful and has the house well equipped with everything we needed. Especially beautiful are the grounds. Loved every minute of our time there!

Beautiful & spacious open living room, kitchen and dinning room area. All 3 bedrooms are on the larger size. With one extra large bedroom that has 2 queen beds and a baby crib. The outdoor patio is perfect for sitting in the mornings & afternoons. It’s only about 100 yards to the beach!!! You can feel and smell the ocean breeze and hear the waves rolling in.

We stayed at this property while visiting family at Christmas. The property was warm and welcoming. The location is excellent, particularly if you are visiting in the summer months, with easy access to the beach and nearby restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay!

Super close to beach...walkable. Very close to where our son got married--at the Towers. Narragansett is beautiful and this home is very nice. We had one small electrical issue but it was taken care of immediately. Kathy was fantastic with communication!!

We attended a family wedding and stayed at Hadley Seaside Cottage situated near The Towers. The accommodation were clean, beautiful and comfortable with all the amenities for a home away from home. The bedrooms are spacious and plenty of space for family time together. The location was in walking distance to the wedding venue. A safe and secure neighborhood. I would highly recommend HSC if you’re looking to stay in the area.

My family had a wonderful stay at the Hadley cottage. There was enough space for my large family to eat together and play board games. We had more than enough space for 5 adults and 2 tweens to sleep. There was room for additional people to sleep if needed. The house was warm and cozy and contained all the small and big amenities including first aid kit, various glassware and plateware, coffee bar, and dishwasher. It was a great location, within walking distance to the be ach and local restaurants. We were there in mid-November, so all of the outdoor furniture, fire table, gas grill and hot tub were put away for the winter. We would stay there again.

The Hadley Seaside Cottage was top notch to fit our family of 10 attending a local weekend wedding! The inside was so inviting and pleasant and had everything we needed. The outside grounds were simply beautiful and we really enjoyed relaxing on the deck and playing shuffle board! We will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay in Narragansett! A great house in a great spot! We enjoyed the backyard and outdoor shower, wonderful adds to the character of the home. We stayed in one night and cooked so it was great to have everything we needed to cook right there. Would definitely recommend

My wife, two young children, and I stayed at the cottage for a week and had a great time. It’s a short walk to the beach and several restaurants. The cottage was very well stocked and had a thick binder full of info on the area which was helpful. It was especially nice that there was beach stuff, i.e. wagon, chairs, umbrella, etc. We would recommend this place to other families looking for a place to stay for beach vacation.

I've been wanting to test the Narragansett waters for some time now and was finally able to convince the family to try something new. We were quite pleased with the easygoing vibe of the town - not too crowded and plenty to do. The house was wonderfully located just across from the beach and with easy walking to local shops, restaurants and cafes. The endless bike trail was just up the street as were tennis courts and the 174 acre Canonchet Farm preserve. The house was lovely - tastefully decorated and maintained and had everything you could need while still leaving room for us to unpack and to store food. The yard was expansive and beautifully manicured. The hosts were very responsive. We'd happily return!

Hadley Seaside Cottage far exceeded our expectations! In town for a winter wedding, we were beyond pleased with its ideal location, homey and welcoming feel, and thoughtful amenities. We lucked out having a sunny, 60 degree day in February and got the taste of the beach life, lounging in beach chairs on the back patio. I imagine this rental is the perfect ‘Gansett summer house for family and friends. Kathy was also a very friendly and quick communicator. I would rent again.

We were so fortunate to have booked this property while in town for our daughter’s wedding. The home is lovely and so well appointed. The location couldn’t be better, centrally located and a short walk to the beach. The yard was beautiful…even in November! My daughter and her fiancé were able to have their “first look” photos in the garden. Kathy was wonderful to communicate with. We highly recommend this property!

This was the perfect place to "refill" our empty nest this Thanksgiving. We had lots of room for our three college boys to reconnect with each other and with us. I highly recommend this property for a stay in Narragansett, RI. I grew up lifeguarding at the beach, and lived on the same street in 2008. Since then, most of the properties have been rebuilt and enhanced. You can’t beat the location. The property itself is gorgeous. Absolutely massive backyard and enjoyed the layout inside. The hosts are wonderful and responsive. It was hard to leave, and we will most definitely be back soon!
