The staff was excellent. We had not been there before and we asked if they could recommend a place to eat. Their recommendation was excellent. Due to weather we had to extend our stay the staff worked this out no problems.
There was nothing that we didn't like. Differently on the list to stay on our next trip.

The manager and front desk staff worked with us for two hours to get the proper authorization from Booking.com. They ultimately gave us a room with the promise from Booking - who originally sent the information transposed so it was incorrect - that it would all be worked out in a few hours.
The front desk would not honor our Booking.com confirmation. They kept saying "we need to get paid before you get a room." That is not our problem. The issue was totally between booking.com and Marriott as they very obviously had sent them a transposed date for the payment. As a customer I should not have to suffer for the breakdown of the business dealing between booking.com and Marriott.
ADDITIONALLY, we first called Marriott directly and asked if there were any rooms at this hotel. We were told yes and the rate was $246 which we thought was outrageous. Given a traffic accident we needed to find a room fast before all the hotels filled up so we tried Booking.com and got a rate of $146. When we told the manager about the rate she said that was crazy as that was way more than their rooms ever went for. I am certain about the rate I was told and don't know who was at fault. I did call the hotel directly and believe someone at the front desk gave us that rate but can't be certain the call wasn't routed to the main Marriott reservation line. I have always been a huge Marriott fan and customer. This was a terrible situation that could have been way better handled. I believe the local team was following protocol. But the protocol is wrong. Customers should not have to contact the third party booking company (which I had to do as the front desk tried but had no luck connecting) and my credit card company in order to connect all the parties and work out a fix. Truly it was crazy and I really was close to just paying the rate the front desk was quoting - which was the same as Booking.com but $100 less then I got over the phone. Overall terrible Marriott customer service experience.

Breakfast was excellent, nicely displayed, with kitchen staff (nice, helpful , and professional) available and ready to assist.
The room and bathroom were totally clean. The room was very comfortable. And very important, the bathroom had a well functioning toilet which is not always the case in other hotels.
All the staff, whether in the reception, breakfast or housekeeping, were very friendly, helpful and professional.
There was nothing that we did not like.

I was charged $20.00) for incidentals which I had none of and was told would be returned at checkout. When I asked about it I was told it would be put back on my charge credit card. That was a week ago and I still haven’t gotten it. Not happy

Everything is well maintained and clean. Breakfast was great! Even had eggs, two types of sausage, and hot grits.
I loved the mattress, my wife thought it was a bit hard.

The breakfast was very good. Scrambled eggs, omelets, hard boiled eggs, bacon, oatmeal, cold cereals, waffle machine. Replenished by staff frequently.
The bed and pillows were comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly and quietly.

Extremely friendly staff. We were greeted at registration and offered bottled water and fresh cookies. The room was very clean and fresh.

The hotel is located in a very quiet area, but close to i95 highway. Beds were comfy and two soft pillows could be arranged in any suitable way. The breakfast was ample and tasty. We liked fried eggs with cheese. The waffle machines were in the good order and the ability to bake 4 separate small waffles instead of a single large one was very convenient. The breakfast room was very clean and well maintained and the stuff was very helpful and friendly. The speed of checkin and checkout was outstanding. We had a good rest after a long drive and will certainly book this hotel again in the nearest future.
The only minor improvement would be a refrigerator with the freezer. At least in some rooms with the option to select a room with the bigger refrigerator if necessary. Other than that we have no negative comments and even this is just a friendly opinion.
