About this house rental
This house is about 500 ft from the beach with a gorgeous view of the ocean. It is approximately 1750 sq ft. Open concept with comfortable seating for your group of 12 to relax after a day of fun and sun! There is a fully equipped kitchen with all large and small appliances, cookware and serving dishes. We also supply household essentials so pack light!
The master bedroom has a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom has a walk in shower.
Bedroom #2 offers a king size bed. Bedroom #3 has a king size bed.
The 4th room has a queen size bed and 2 sets of twin bunks. It is perfect for one large family or up to 3 small families! The downstairs has a large concrete area with a charcoal grill, picinic table, and outdoor shower. The large yard has a fire pit with adirondack chairs and a horse shoe pit. This house is made for family beach fun! All the beds are made and towels are provided for your stay. We also provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry soap. etc.

Beach house for 3 familys and 3 kiddos. Beach was really close and easy acces. The beach house was equipped with all our needs. It was a perfect stay.

We stayed with family and friends. Absolutely loved the house and it had everything we needed already there which was amazing. This truly was the BEST Little Shore-house with room for everyone! The 4 bedrooms were comfy and beautifully decorated. The bathrooms were great. I loved all of the windows in the kitchen/dining room. Kitchen was beautiful and made meal time fun. The deck is covered with ample seating and the lower deck has a fire pit and swings. We all did not want to leave. Beautiful home. We will be staying here again.

Ocean, sand, and surf for days!
My husband, SIL, her husband, and our herd of children needed a beach vacation like, yesterday, so we began our search for the perfect beach house. We instantly fell for "the best little shore house" due to its charm, immediate location in Crystal Beach to the very beach we craved, and the ability to fit all of us more than comfortably. The kids loved that we could literally walk to the beach, and the large wraparound deck had amazing views of the water. I highly recommend this rental, and working with Carinn was a breeze.

Perfect sleeping arrangements
We had 4 families with 4 children. Everyone had a comfy bed. The walk to the beach was close. The views from all the windows in the living room was perfect!!!

Thanksgiving Escape
This house is so much better than the pictures portray. It has everything you need for a perfect stay/getaway. We had everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. The host, Carrin, was very responsive with pre-arrival questions and information. We would definitely rent again.

Such a beautiful cabin with a view of the beach ! Very clean and had everything you need to cook with . Loved all the natural lighting in the living room . Any time I had a question about the cabin the property owner answered back immediately. Will definitely rent again in the future !

Beautiful home for a perfect beach stay!
This home is clean and beautiful inside with lots of outdoor seating to enjoy our time at the beach. It had everything we needed, including wood and roasting sticks and a lovely firepit (although we took our fire down to the beach, which was lots of fun). The only odd thing was that they only provided 1 extra roll of toilet paper per bathroom, which with 10 women we ran out of within 24 hours of our 3-day stay. A small annoyance to have to run to the store to save the owner $5. We also had to have the towels washed and dried and put away before we left, which meant showering and cleaning the night before we left, which was slightly annoying. We just used paper towels as hand towels in the bathroom and washcloths in the kitchen that morning. Would have been much nicer if we could have just started the washer when we left and let the cleaners dry and put away towels. But these small nuisances aside, it was a perfect rental!

THE HOUSE WAS VERY CLEAN. THE HOUSE HAD PLENTY OF SPACE TO ACCOMMODATE OUR STAY. THE OWNERS ACCOMMODATE US WITH A REQUEST TO HELP US THAT TRAVELED FROM A FAR. THE WALK TO THE BEACH WAS VERY SHORT. THE HOUSE IS IN THE PERFECT LOCATION. EATING BREAKFAST OUTSIDE ON THE TABLE ON THE DECK WAS AWESOME. THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING US TO STAY IN YOUR BEAUTIFUL HOME.

We loved our stay at this house. Extremely relaxing. The house was clean and had all the necessities. The beach was very close. You can drive on the beach! It took a little adjusting to the beach crowd - adult party crowd. Everyone was very nice! Southern hospitality.

We had an amazing time at the beach house. The accessibility to the beach was a huge selling point and it did not disappoint. The house was very clean and it had everything we needed for our stay. It was a great stay.

The house was great. Close to the beach and plenty of room outside and in. Kids and adults had fun. Only recommendation is bring bug spray. The mosquitoes are bad under the house and walking to the beach.

We absolutely enjoyed our time here! This house was perfect for us! We loved how close it was to the beach and our favorite part was the outdoor area; great chairs on the deck to take in the view, picnic tables for us to sit around and talk, and the swings down stairs were nice to swing in and listen to the sounds of the ocean!

Beautiful, Clean and Close to Beach
This home is beautiful and well stocked with everything you need. We have stayed at tons of VRBOs and this one was by far the cleanest. You can see the ocean from the living room and balcony. It’s a very short and easy walk to the water. The beach is very clean. The outside shower and hoses at the home were great for getting sand off Before retiring upstairs. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. There’s enough room to park more than three cars In the shade comfortably, we only had 2. The beds were comfortable and a lot to choose from. We had 5 adults, 2 big teens and one 10 yr old and all had plenty of space. Our host was very responsive. We had a power outage the first night, it was out for the entire area, our host communicated throughout. I have stayed in Galveston many times and have to say I prefer this area now. The beach seems cleaner and more private/less crowded. If you want to visit Galveston the ferry is a short distance away. We would definitely rent here again.

Really is the best little shore house
Perfect for our family with teenagers. Wouldn’t change a thing. Location is nice short walk to public entry, fire pit, swings under house, horseshoes, outdoor shower, bedrooms are large, bunk room roomy and perfect for the teenagers, comfortable beds, soft sheets, plenty of linens. Loved all the extra special touches - individual toiletries including oatmeal soaps, beautiful decor, every kitchen utensil you could need and more, positive quotes, cable tv. We will be back for sure.

Only problem was the online listing said there would be a Keurig so all we brought was k-cups. Otherwise everything was great and hope to go back again!

As a family of 5, we find that renting houses is a great way to vacation. We've rented many over the years and this one was very nice. My number one concern was cleanliness and it was extremely clean. I was very happy about that. We had a group of 8 for a few days and it didn't feel crowded. There was plenty of comfortable seating. The beds were comfortable too. There were extra blankets, enough towels and extra pillows.The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beach. The neighborhood was fairly quiet and felt safe. The outside spaces were very nice. Besides the outdoor shower, there was also a place to wash your feet at the bottom of the stairs. We were a little weirded out with the video camera in the carport area but I suppose that's the age we live in. We did have a few issues. First of all, the listing said there was a keurig coffee maker. We don't normally use a keurig, but because the listing said that's what the house had, we went out and bought a box of keurig pods. When we got to the house there were coffee filters and two regular coffee makers, no keurig. I emailed the property manager to see if maybe I had overlooked it, and she responded, "No, sorry, it broke." Since we have no keurig at home we ended up just cutting each pod open and dumping the coffee into a regular filter. Not a huge deal, but it was annoying because I had regular coffee at home that I could have brought. We also found that the salt shaker was completely empty, the kitchen soap dispenser was empty, the dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash were empty in both bathrooms and the batteries for the shades in the living room were low, so we just left the shades open for the last half of our stay. We always bring sample size toiletries and we got the rest of what we needed at the store. There were extra things like toothbrushes and little soaps, so it seems like whoever was responsible for refilling things just didn't do a good job this time. There were also only a couple regular sized spoons. We had to keep rewashing the same 3 or use giant spoons,These things were a little annoying, but didn't keep us from having a really great time. I always appreciate a detailed review, so I try to write them too. Would definitely stay again! Oh, and the wifi password in the book is incorrect. Use the one on the fridge!

Our happy place
The beach is a place we grew up going to and staying at when we were kids. And this would be my second house to rent. This houses location was fantastic. Great breezes!! I will say that there wasn't a whole lot of cabinet/counter space, closet space to put things but, I read a review before our stay and I prepared with my Rubbermaid to keep stuff off the counters. Overall we had a wonderful time. Definitely a great beach house for family time!!

Annual Family Vacation
We loved the location, the house is really clean and accessible. There’s plenty of towels, kitchen wares, linens. Nice showers, great parking. There was only one drawback - there are not any accessible closets, so all bedrooms, except the Master - were filled with our suitcases. If you advertise a space for 10 to 15 people, then there needs to be closet space. Even- maybe- the downstairs garage could be unlocked for storing suitcases. Pictures are accurate in the listing, but everyone should note it’s only 1750 square feet. Kitchen was great, every appliance, dish, imaginable- but again, only one shelf for putting food. So the cabinet tops held our food and made meal prep difficult. It’s a great house, just keep in mind there’s limited space for putting away your things.

AMAZING TIME
This was a special Thanksgiving weekend. Grandpa is in his late 80's and you never know. ALL of the grandchildren came to love on him. The home was absolutely amazing. We all loved the home. It was beautiful, great location and had an amazing time. We will definitely come again to rent. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your special home!
