About this apartment rental
The foot just a quarter of an hour from central Solingen preferred Hofschaft Meigen among one of the oldest of its kind. The newly renovated and newly furnished apartment is located on the edge of the nature reserve and offers a wonderful view of the Wupper mountains and still the center of Solingen is within walking distance in 10 minutes. By car, it is only a few minutes. Also located in the immediate vicinity of all major supermarkets or Bakeries. The apartment itself: Exclusive modern facilities, completely new kitchen with dishwasher, coffee machine (coffee provided), toaster, microwave, crockery, cutlery and glasses available for 12 people, new pots and pans. The apartment is ideal for 2 people (large double bed), but it can stay 4 people (sofa bed in the living room). Ideal for visitors (close to Dusseldorf and Cologne) or for leisure, z. B. Walking holidays in Bergisch Land. The 2 large roof terraces invite in sunshine for breakfast outdoors. Both terraces are equipped with comfortable furniture. Final cleaning is included in the price, as well as towels and sheets. A parking lot next to the house is also available.

Tremendous value to be near Köln and surrounding area, with also Solingen being special in its own right. Wonderful hosts. Would look to stay there again!

Christa and Jochen were the consummate hosts. The cottage was, well decorated, comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. We cannot more heavily recommend this space. Likely the best shower in all of Germany and very well appointed. Everything you could want has been supplied and you couldn’t find more gracious hosts. A large deck off the back with a beautiful view, tops it off. Beds are extremely comfortable and a full size, refrigerator and washer, dryer come with it. Parking is a plus and WiFi is fast. Book this adorable place before it is rented for your time.

Der Prozess zum Mieten war einfach, die Kommunikation mit der Familie Klemens super. Schnelle Antworten auf Fragen, und die beiden sind wirklich die herzlichsten Gastgeber, die man sich wünschen kann.
Die Wohnung ist ein Traum, und genau wie auf den Bildern. Sehr stilvoll, sauber, und noch viel größer als gedacht. Der Blick von dem Balkon in die Natur ist unbeschreiblich schön. Parkplatz ist auch vorhanden.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen, und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben unsere Zeit bei Fam. Klemens sehr genossen. Sie sind sehr herzliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Die Wohnung ist genau so schön hell und offen wie auf den Bildern zu sehen ist. Mooie en schone inrichting
Super net en schoon appartement, van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijk dakterras. Prima keuken en badkamer. Mooi ingericht. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren, die ook tips geven om de omgeving te verkennen.
Mooi gebied om te wandelen, maar ook Keulen en Dusseldorf zijn dichtbij. Er is genoeg te doen in de omgeving.

Heerlijk verblijf
We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in het appartement, het is super groot en mooi. Het dakterras aan de achterkant is heerlijk met een prachtig uitzicht over de weilanden en het bergachtige, beboste gebied. Op het andere terras kan je later in de middag/begin van de avond nog heerlijk genieten van het zonnetje. Solingen zelf is een niet al te mooie stad, op het kleine oude stadscentrum na, maar over de korkenziehertrasse kan je wel leuk wandelen en zo te voet naar het oude stadscentrum gaan. Verder loop je vanaf het appartement zo de natuur in over allerlei leuke wandelroutes. De eigenaren zijn super vriendelijk en heel erg bereid om tips te geven. Al met al dus een topweek!

Wir haben uns diese wunderschöne Wohnung für eine Übernachtung vor unserer Hochzeit gebucht und hätten schwer etwas traumhafteres finden können.

Idyllische Ferienwohnung zum entspannen
Eine sehr moderne und schön eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mit einem fantastischen Ausblick. Wir haben uns direkt heimisch und sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeberin hat uns herzlichst empfangen und uns alles gezeigt. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Wir würden sehr gerne wieder kommen.

Beautiful
The apartment is so spacious and clean with everything you could ever need. It’s in a beautiful setting. Look out the back and see pastures with cows and it is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. There’s a walking trail from the neighborhood that goes up past the pastures to a little look out area. The town of Soligen is nice and so is neighboring Wuppertal. Many restaurants and stores. Easy to get to surrounding cities like Dusseldorf and Cologne. We would love to stay here again if we are back in the area.

It is clean, very spacious and well equipped including dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.
The outlook is gorgeous and a very peaceful and relaxing setting.
We had a 7 night stay and would love to have stayed longer.
I usually take a while making the decision as to which apartment to book, reading through all the available reviews. I would advise anyone ,dont hesitate to make this choice! It is fabulous

Peaceful and charming location!!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely apartment! Our hosts were very charming people making sure we were well acquainted with the features of the apartment, even leaving us a little treat basket. It was VERY helpful having a washer and dryer there!!! The bed was very comfortable and welcoming after a day of exploring. The kitchen was very modern and convenient. Would definitely recommend!!

Their dinner recommendation (koffeehaus) was amazing...very authentic. We woke up to absolutely stunning views from the back deck. Our morning was spent hiking to the highest crane bridge in the world and onto the schloss castle nearby (both recommended by our hosts). A hidden gem!!
