Great Location, very convenient for tram, nice area, shopping nearby
Staff doesn’t speak English, it is very difficult for communication. Staff mainly work for senior residence, they don’t care about hotel customers.

Great location, close to city centre - very helpful, friendly staff
Could have done with a couple of comfy chairs to sit on, the only options were to sit on the bed or at the table, also WiFi was very unreliable
4.3
The most comfortable beds we have found in a long time. Very quiet, great facility.
The garage access is not well managed particularly on the way out. There should be an access code, rather than having to phone the reception....

Location is good and the room was clean and nice.
I walked too much for parking because of there wasn't any place to park our car.
4.3
Nice and friendly staff. Very good windows keeping the noise out. Relatively hard beds which I like. Nice, modern bath room. Very spacious room.
The room could use more furniture / a couch to make the stay a bit more comfortable.

The staff is very friendly in this hotel. They were happy that I spoke some French, but mainly discussed in English. The room/apartment is very spacious and new, the sheets were washed with non-fragrant detergent, which was a dream for me! Beds are comfortable, also the sofa bed for my teenagers. Kitchenette is equipped with all the needed dishware and utensils, there is also a washing machine. there is an effective air conditioning which can be controlled from the room -a dream as well! and still, the doors can be opened to a french balcony.
The hotel is a 15 min walk from the Strasbourg old town, there is a small shop in the opposite side of the street and a mall nearby. Parking available at 10 eur a night.
Great hotel, money's worth, excellent, attentive staff. Will definitely come back if ever visiting Strasbourg again.
not really anything, loved it!

Rezeptionists can't speak nothing but french

the location.
It was a bit hard to communicate with one or two of the staff. and it seems they weren’t sure about the property rules.

Location is good
They can offer for breakfast in good price

The apartment was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Spacious bathroom.
The reception service we received was not very friendly. Also the organisation for leaving the car in the parking could be improved.

clean
The dishwasher was out of order. They have changed it on the 3rd day. It worked 1 day, then it got broken once again... we had to wash the dishes with our hands.

Staff and cleaning lady were very helpful in providing extra linens when needed
Room furnishing Was not complete

The property is a short tram ride away from central station. It is very clean and comfortable, with plenty of restaurants and bars along the river to choose from.
The one thing I didn't realise, was that this accommodation is mostly inhabited by elderly residents, so we felt like we needed to tip toe around a bit and so it wasn't 100% comfortable.
4.3
The apartment was big, nicely furnished and equipped with the basics. Very well positioned, could get to the centre by foot or tram. The parking was free and close (just across a small street). Getting the remote from the reception to open and close it was not difficult.
Maybe a dishwasher will be added in the future and a few more plates and glasses.

The place was very clean and spacious. The staff helpful and courteous. The hotel is next to a Tram stop and city center can be easily reached on foot.
Plenty of cafes and restaurants around including a shopping mall and theater. The area is surrounded by canals and is very pleasant in the evening. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils and the sofa bed was as comfortable as the main bed (which was a pleasant surprise). The wi-fi connectivity is good and the Passcode needs to be picked up from the front desk when checking in.
The hotel has no parking of its own. You will have to park in either the nearby Mall's parking area or in another public parking space called ZenPark. Availability in these areas can be tricky so it is best to reserve in advance through their apps.

The size of apartment was large and the decor nice. The public areas are well maintained and there are not many apartments per floor. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
It would be good to have a washing machine in the apartment for longer stays.

Medicis is in the new part of the city and therefore quite a distance by foot to all the historic landmarks. There are some restaurants and cafes close to the apartment but most of the action was in the historic district (Petite France, etc.). The apartments (we rented 2 units) were large and well maintained.
Medicis Home is actually a Seniors residence with a couple of apartments used as hotel style rentals. We were not aware that this was primarily a senior residence when we made this booking and it was not ideal for our family. Especially during this current wave of covid and with teenagers in the mix, I felt uncomfortable exposing the elderly residents to our germs. Also the car park is accessed by one FOB that is kept at the front desk. If you need your vehicle you have to wait for another guest to bring it back the FOB to the front desk. Not very efficient. The AC in one of the apartments was not working and it took over 24hrs for a staff member to bring a portable unit to us, which also did not work. This was not a convenient scenario considering how hot it was these last few days in Strasbourg. The staff is very focused on the Senior residents at Medicis Home, as they should be and only one member of the staff spoke English. I think there's a tendency to not put as much care into their hotel guests, but that could have been just my experience

The room was absolutely beautiful, very recently renovated and very well cleaned. The little kitchen was convenient, too. The location is great, too. It's in a hip area, and within short walking distances there are tram stop, supermarket, bakery, wonderful cinema complex, big shopping mall, and many restaurants.
Arrival and parking were slightly tricky for us. From Rue Edmond Michelet, you turn into Rue Alice Guy (it's not really a street, it's more like a little loading/unloading space). Temporarily park in front of the hotel front door (VILLA MEDICIS sign in gold), ring the bell, and receive the parking remote from front desk. The parking entrance is right in front of hotel doors, and the parking is clean and seems very safe.

I had a very spacious apartment with a bedroom and living room/kitchen, large bathroom, large separate toilet. The kitchen corner was well equipped, even with dishwasher. Everything was clean and new. The ladies of reception were very friendly and kind. I would definitely come back to the same hotel again. The location is perfect as well, central, but still quiet.

Huge appartment with living area, dining table with four chairs, tv, kitchen corner, sofa; separate bedroom with comfy bed, huge bathroom. Mini balcony. Heating is possible to set individually for each room + towel radiator in bathroom also setable. Kitchen with basic utensils (pan etc.), microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, fridge, dishwasher (yes, the machine :-)). Some basic staff, like teabags, sugar, kitchentowel, washing liquid, welcome cookies. Good underground parking. Nice salad restaurant next door. Very kind staff. Would come back any time.
