the house has huge potential. they need better local staff to maintain it.
huge space
a lot of items are broken and was never fixed. head office was going to send local staff to fix it but they never showed up till the day we left. After a few requests, head office gave us less than a hundred dollars credit. 1. toilet inside the bedroom: the chain inside the tank was missing. can’t flush the toilet. 2. TV ( during Super Bowl) : they don’t have the log in ID nor password to access dish network. we can’t watch the game as we checked in 30 mins before Super Bowl. 3. none of the fireplace worked. no pilot light. 4. hot tub: it worked in the beginning and then it just died. according to the sticker the last time it was professionally maintained was 6 months ago. there was a sign to ask us to put in chlorine after we use it. there was no chlorine. 5. window shades are broken in every room

Great location and comfortable
Seven adults stayed here. We used it as a home base for visiting Yellowstone. It’s a great location. Saw some wildlife (foxes). We liked the proximity to the town center for restaurants and groceries (warning that Roxies market is expensive, but great wine selection and to pick up specific items). We couldn’t find a cutting board so I messaged the property and they delivered a new one that same day.

Great location, roomy accommodations but moderately shabby and in dire need of attention.
The home is in an excellent location and in an upscale neighborhood about halfway between the Meadows and the resort. The interior is spacious, very roomy and a good size for a group of 8 to 10. The hot tub and the porte-cochere for loading/unloading out of the weather are probably its best features.
The home lacks basic maintenance and upkeep. Nearly everything is either broken or about to break. Torn cushions, busted chair arms, ripped screens, cracked dustpan, the silverware drawer bottom about to fall out, crumbling rugs, loose doorknobs, shaky sink faucets, missing smoke detector, other smoke detectors dangling by their wires, an ice dam on the roof that has created a pile of shingles behind the house. The pièce de ré·sis·tance? A HOLE in the living room floor in front of the fireplace! "ahh, just throw a rug over it. they'll never see it."

Overcharged in Big Sky
Big house in a great location.
We were seriously overcharged for this large house that had problem after problem after problem including the heating going out during a big and very cold storm. There were so many problems we reported to Vacasa and Booking.com that I needed a very long list. It is clear that the owners of this property have neglected the management and are only concerned about charging high fees for a low value. We we charged a 5-star price for Motel 6 style inside. Whether it was the cheap and scratched plastic plates and glasses, chipped cups, the cheap old and dirty plastic chairs, the old and filthy BBQ, ripped screen doors, animal poop on the patio, problematic heating, lights that didn’t work, cheapest possible bedding, garbage left in garage, junk piled in cabinets and garage, this house needs some serious TLC. It is the only dilapidated and rundown house in a neighborhood filled with gorgeous homes. We asked Booking.com and Vacasa for a partial refund based on what was a clear case of Bait and Switch. Avoid this house that should be removed from Booking.com until serious issues are addressed.
