Lismore House & Vineyard

Lismore House is a luxury 5 bedroomed, 3500 sq.ft colonial styled property available for short-stay rental. Situated within the 14 acre grounds of Lismore estate you will find Lismore House to be a perfect place for vacations, family reunions, honeymoons, corporate events or as a wedding venue.

Overlooking the vineyard, Lismore house has been fully renovated & refurbished. The landscaped property boasts 12 acres of vines producing the highest quality Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris grapes.

You will find cloistered reading nooks, roaring fires, an outdoor heated spa overlooking the vines and many places on the property to relax and have "you time". In addition, you will also find a perfect deck for a BBQ, a fully equipped kitchen, formal dining room as well how a games room and swimming pool for "us time".

Lismore is owned and operated by Dan, Mary & Lucy whose family has lived and worked in the south Wairarapa for the last 4 generations.

Our big family were getting together for a girls weekend and this property was amazing! There were 12 of us and we fit very comfortably. The place was absolutely beautiful and we made good use of the pool and spa. Dan was fab at communicating with us before and during the trip, too! Definitely recommend staying here!

A stunning home which suited our group of 8 perfectly. The pool, spa and bonus games room all make for a very relaxing stay. Close to vineyards. Communication was excellent. Would highly reccomend and can't wait to go back

This is the most beautiful house perfect decor just what I love. We went with daughters and partners and grandsons and Clyde friends 10 in total. Every one throughly enjoy the stay. Totally recommend this house.

Our stay was wonderful. The Property is right on the edge of a vineyard that supplies one of the local wineries. Everyone was blown away by the beauty of the venue. The kids had a great time in the games room and pool. The kitchen is perfect for group cooking and the dining room looks out over the vineyards. Could not find a fault. A huge thankyou to Dan and Mary, our hosts, whom were increadibly helpful and kind.

Fabulous place, very well appointed, warm, clean and comfortable. Communication great. Location was walking distance from Poppies and Margrain so we enjoyed a refreshing stroll between spots. Was a perfect weekend. Thanks so much. Highly recommend

Wow. What an incredibly luxe place to stay for a long wedding weekend with our close friends and family. The bedrooms are gorgeous: the beds and linen so dreamy that I could have quite happily spent a whole afternoon lounging! Waking up and having a coffee in bed looking at the vines is fabulous. Great water pressure in the showers, a lovely pool and fab jacuzzi for gazing at the late night sky. The house has a very soothing French country chic vibe, and it literally has anything you could need. Plus, the games room was a hit with both our 10yr old and my 87yr old Nanna! Karan was so lovely and no question was too small which I loved and made us feel very welcome. We will be back!

This property was fantastic !! We were an extended family group of 12 from the moment we drove up the tree lined driveway we felt relaxed. The house was so well set out and up we had everything we needed the beds were so comfortable everybody had so much fun in the pool and the games room. My favourite part was waking up to the stunning view getting myself a coffee and sitting on the deck as the sun came up over the vineyard while all sorts of birds strutted around and the rabbits hopped amongst the vines. I could not have had a better break and would love to come back Thank you so much

What a fabulous place to stay to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. Plenty of room for the 10 of us. Lovely setting amongst the vines. Relaxing and peaceful but still close to town and wineries.

Perfect property for a family gathering. Very private with everything you need. Great touches like rugs for cool evenings gs sitting outside. The rooms are big with beautiful bathrooms. Large pool which we lived in. An amazing Birthday weekend. Thankyou.

This was truely an amazing place to stay. The decor, facilities, house layout, all the small the little touches combined with luxury was fantastic. A great property for a special occasion, and very comfy for couples all having own ensuite. Plenty of space, very well furnished & equipped. Shame no SKY TV or coffee machine (hence not quite 5 ⭐️). Would highly recommend.

We had an absolute blast at Lismore House. The whole place exceeded our expectation - there are not enough photos online to do it justice. The beds are comfy, the bathrooms beautiful, kitchen well equipped, warm and cosy fire and heating, multiple hang out rooms, warm spa and even a games room! Highly recommend. We were a group of 2 ladies - location perfect and Karen an awesome attentive host. We will be back!

The Lismore team made everything very easy to enjoy our stay. From the booking, to the correspondence, to the attention to detail in the rooms and grounds - everything was impeccable. We loved Lismore House. An immaculately presented, modern and spacious home surrounded by vineyards to either sit back and relax, have a swim in the heated pool or partake in the many provided activities - pool, air hockey, foosball, darts and board games. We were greeted upon arrival by Karen who was very welcoming and informative. Would certainly recommend it.
