It's set within the heart of the New Forest in a rural location and it offers a unique home from home experience. The house is the perfect base for exploring the New Forest

Living

The cosy living room has a comfortable corner sofa and a fabulous hot pink chesterfield sofa. There is also a 50” Smart Tv with Netflix. For those rainy days there is a
selection of board games, books and colouring in for the kids and adults too!
There is a modern wood burner set in a beautiful French surround. The room also has underfloor heating. The living room leads into the kitchen through pocket doors.

Eating

This house is designed for socialising.
The living room leads into the kitchen through pocket doors which can be open to create a large open plan area with the living room and kitchen or closed if the kids want to watch TV. There is huge bi-fold doors that completely opens up so you can have an indoor outdoor area which leads onto a beautiful secluded patio and garden.
In the kitchen there is an amazing 300 year old oak slab table which seats 9-10 and a breakfast bar with further seating. There also is two comfy sofas and a 43” Tv with Netflix . There is a fully equipped modern minimalist kitchen with beautiful Corian worktops and a built in copper sink.
All appliances are integrated and they include a massive fridge and freezer, smeg induction hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, large wine cooler, two ovens, warming drawer and best of all a built-in coffee machine.

Sleeping

All five bedrooms are modern and minimalist in design. All with king size beds,
luxurious mattresses and Egyptian cotton bedding. They all have floor to ceiling mirrored wardrobes with internal drawers. Three of the bedrooms have beautiful en suites.
Two bedrooms have Juliet balconies that open up to look over the garden and patio area.

Bedroom 1 King size bed with en suite, 43”Tv and Juliet balcony.
Bedroom 2 King size bed and sofa bed, en suite, 43”Tv and Juliet balcony.
Bedroom 3 King size bed, bunk beds.
Bedroom 4 Super king bed or this can be separated into 2 twins and cot.
Bedroom 5 King size bed with en suite, and french doors.

Bathing

There are three en suites with walk-in showers, beautiful Corian sinks and underfloor heating.
The downstairs en ensuite is wheelchair accessible. In the family bathroom there's a freestanding bath, shower enclosure and beautiful views over the countryside.
On the ground floor there is also a cloakroom toilet and sink.

Outside

There is a huge patio area that wraps around the side of the house with steps leading down into the beautiful south facing garden. And set within the old stable courtyard there is a raised decking area which has a luxurious south facing hot tub that seats 6. There is an outdoor dining table and a big corner sofa.There is also a BBQ. We also have a kids climbing frame to keep the little ones busy while you relax.
The property has a gated drive which can fit four cars.
As we're in the heart of the forest you usually get donkeys looking over the gate.

We had a lovely long weekend with all our family for our Golden Wedding Anniversary. Jackie was brilliant, explained everything to us and was very helpful. The house was perfect, very comfortable and in a great location. The children had a great time in the garden with the trampoline and so much space for running around. Lots of pubs close by and one within walking distance of the house. We wished we had stayed for longer we had a brilliant time.

We had a lovely stay at the house as two families with young children. The position of the kitchen with open access to the garden was great for keeping an eye on the kids playing during the sunny days. The house itself is very clean and modern with all mod cons. Jackie was an excellent host and very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Jackie.

The whole family thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here . Jackie gave us a lovely welcome and also an amazing welcome pack . The house was spotlessly clean , very well equipped and nice and warm . We had fantastic weather for October and enjoyed the hot tub , and all the forest walks which start just minutes from the house. It was a very quiet and peaceful location and we definitely recharged our batteries . We should love to return sometime . Thankyou .

Great property in a great location!

We only stayed for 3 nights but would highly recommend this property. Lovely hosts and showed us how to work everything in the house. They gave us some really good tips on what to do in the area which we did nearly all of them! House is lovely, hot tub was a nice touch and we would stay again for sure. Pub is an easy walk up the hill, even easier on way back ;-) thank you for everything. The Jane's.

We had a fabulous experience at this place, Jackie has thought of everything from a welcome hamper to beautiful decor and facilities. Our only snags were a few cobwebs in the bathrooms and the bbq was a bit dirty so we ended up using our own disposables. Other than that the place was really nice and modern, it is exactly as the pictures show it to be and more. Would return here in a heartbeat

Would recommend to everyone. House is spotless & couldn’t fault anything. Jackie was a great host leaving an amazing basket of luxurious for our arrival. Only 25 mins to Bournemouth & less then 5 mins to the nearest shops/takeaways.... Thanks for a great week!!!

Lovely break

Lovely break

We had a wonderful week here and enjoyed some time away from our usual surroundings! The house is beautiful, location good (within walking distance of pubs and local walks) and the owner was very helpful. The house has everything you could need. We would also highly recommend hiring Richie from Fabulous Private Dining for the evening. He came to the house and cooked us a three course meal (all socially distanced of course!) A lovely house with lovely donkeys at the bottom of the drive!

This is a great property; modern, spacious and with lots of facilities. The location is good, being a combination of within the new forest, but also not too far to get to a bigger road to get places. We very much enjoyed our stay there.

Meets all expectations and beyond... We had the most fantastic weekend at ivy house! A real couples retreat to the new forest, with hot tub, fab rooms and amazing surroundings. The decor is well chosen and really oozes quality! The horses that come up to the fence are so cute and friendly and the little wooded area out the back has a great tree swing! The hot tub was always on and the kitchen was to such a high spec, we easily catered for 10 ppl. The rooms were so comfy and clean, and the showers were delightful. The old school front of the farmers house soon turns into a modern dream! Would 100% come and stay again! The hosts were fab, couldn’t do enough for you and really helped with tips and hints on where to go in the local area!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was amazing, clean and spacious. The gardens and hot tub were truly spectacular, The kitchen had everything one could need for cooking, and everything else was pretty well stocked. The beds were luxurious and comfortable and plenty of room for our large family get together. The location is great within the New Forest, and very secluded and peaceful. Jackie, the owner, was friendly and easy to communicate with, and even provided a basket of welcome goodies. We'd highly recommend this property

Excellent !!!

We had a wonderful stay here with friends and family. The house was fabulous with everything you need to have a home from home experience. We loved the open-plan layout downstairs and the huge doors leading out onto the patio and garden. The hot tub was amazing and big enough for the kids to have a little swim in. The kids loved all the outdoor toys and there was plenty of room for them to run around. It was set in a rural location in the New Forest and close to all the attractions and beaches. Just a 5 minute walk and your in miles of opened forest. We are definitely coming back to stay in the summer.
