The location was great. 5 minute walk to cable car. 10 minute walk to Old Town. Steps to Banje Beach were across the street. Market was next door. A bit slim pickings at the market but made due. The house was nice and very accurate to description in booking. It is an older Croatian home. The air conditioning was newly replaced and worked well. This was great since it was extremely hot during our stay. The view is amazing. Our host, Dube was great and very helpful whenever we had questions. She also provided us with a list of restaurants and other attractions.

Ideally located with a beautiful view and a quick walk to both the city and beach.
Fits 8 (4 couples or 2 families) very comfortably with a bathroom in each bedroom. Spacious floor plan with an extra bathroom downstairs near kitchen and living room. The outdoor areas are lovely.
Owner and property manager are very responsive.
Easy check in process.
We enjoyed our stay!

This property and the hosts are amazing! We had a group of 2 couples and 2 single 30s-40s year olds. The location couldn't be better, a short walk into old town (7 minutes to Restaurant 360 / Club Revel / tram / city walls / restaurants / harbor) and directly above Banje beach which was perfect for a swim on hot afternoons (house comes with beach towels and lots of other linens), it is only 3 doors away from a grocery/liquor store and a cafe! The property was spotless and there are several places to hang both inside and out with panoramic views. Bedrooms and baths are large and the independently controlled air conditioning in each bedrooms worked great! The street out front is busy but not too loud, we didn't have to use ear plugs. The hosts were so attentive and sweet, they responded quickly to requests, helping us throughout our stay, and even after when we forgot some items! The neighborhood is safe to walk in, even late at night. The dishwasher and clothes washer work, brand new fridge. Please note that the property is on a hill and the bedrooms are on the second floor, so you must navigate many steps, bring good shoes. Thank you for having us, we loved Dubrovnik and the convenience of this property!

If I could give more stars I would! We were in Croatia for 2 weeks and stayed at various rentals and this place was by far, the best place we stayed!
The unit is spotless and the rooms are also amazing. There was 5 of us and we all had are own room and bathroom. The views from the 2 rooms and living room are amazing. We loved to wake up and have our coffee in front of the large window that looked over the town of Dubrovinik and the ocean.
You will love this place They had an abundance of supplies and towels! Everywhere else we stayed only gave us limited amounts of supplies and one towel per person but at this beautiful home, you could stay a month!

This Villa was a lovely place to stay - super close to the old town (a 5 minute walk), plenty of bedrooms / bathrooms, a grocery store next door, Katherine was excellent with communication. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the city!

This is a beautiful home with a beautiful view of the city! A well appointed home with the travelers needs in mind. Comfortable beds, nice furnishings, and a great host! Our family of 8 adults had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for everything Kathy!!!

3 couples(60's) stayed here for 4 nights in Sept 2023. The property was magnificent! The views amazing! There are 4 bedrooms, each with a seperate bath. Lovely courtyard with a large stone table with a view of the water. Great place for morning coffee/ breakfast.
Steps to Banje beach are literally across the street. Only a few blocks away is the steps to Ploce gate. A small but ample market is only a few minute walk.
We couldn't have picked a better spot for our first trip to Dubrovnik!
Our host was excellent at communicating since day one and booked our transportation needs for us.
Highly recommend!!

This is a great location, large living space. We had 6 adults in the property comfortably. Close to old town, with some stairs. Would definitely go back again.
On a side note, a lot of stairs in Dubrovnik, so just be prepared for your daily workout.

My family of 6, all over age of 21, stayed here for 5 nights and loved it! It was roomy enough for all of us and plenty of bathrooms too.. Just a short walk to Old Town and the beaches..yes the stairs are plentiful but definitely doable and helps work off all that delicious gelato we were eating. We enjoyed the outdoor terraces as well. Nice grocery store 2 minutes away. Great views of Old Town and the islands. Recommend this wonderful property to anyone going to Dubrovnik! Owner was great to work with and appreciated her recommendations.

Very nice property. The street it's on is a bit busy and you can hear cars go by at all hours. Bring earplugs if that bothers you. Otherwise, a very nice place to stay.

Terrific rental just a few minutes outside the city walls. Lots of positives:
--incredible views
--great location--close to the Ploce gate (8 minute walk), the cable car (8 minutes), Banje Beach (5 minutes). Grocery store on the left as you walk out (1 minute).
--powerful air conditioning in every bedroom and AC on the main level
--en suite bathrooms for every bedroom, and there's even an extra bathroom on the first level
--so much space! This home is huge and allows everyone room to spread out.
--lots of nice extras--beach towels, liquid hand soap in every bathroom, washing machine, outdoor dining area, grocery staples on arrival if requested
--very responsive and considerate owner
--responsible and helpful property manager and drivers
On the con side, I prefer hard beds so I found my bed a little soft, but that was nothing compared to all the wonderful attributes of this property and the attentive owner and her team. We sincerely hope to return!

Location was excellent and view was tremendous. Very clean and well equipped with everything you need including kitchen essentials. Short walk to Old Walled City and port. Market very close for food and drinks. Only issue may be spiral staircase for some people but not an issue for our group. Would Rent again and hope we can in the future. Thanks Katherine the owner she was easy to work with and very responsive.

Amazing Stay
We spent the last two months staying at this property in Dubrovnik. The owner and property manager were so kind, helpful and accommodating. The property is in perfect proximity to walk to old town. The views from the house on both terraces and out the front bedrooms are spectacular. The home is spacious and well kept, and as a bonus each bedroom has it’s own bathroom. It is also, so convenient with a bakery down the street in one direction and a small grocery store in the other. It was the perfect home to stay in for an extended time.

Outstanding views and location!
This was our first trip to Dubrovnik. This Villa Branko house was perfect for our trip. 6 adults were comfortably accommodated by the property, with plenty of supplies for all of us. Communication with local property manager and owner were timely and helpful, and the views were simply outstanding. There was a supermarket less than a block away, which we found helpful, and the old town area is full of restaurants and shops. We did get our exercise with the steps up / down to old town - but we needed it after the excellent meals! Highly recommended, we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Loved this apartment!
The location of this apartment couldn’t be better if you want to explore Old Town Dubrovnik! It is a 5 minute walk to the South Gate. The views are gorgeous! There is a little grocery store a few doors down and Kathy had recommendations for several great tour guides and vans for day trips in the area. We were a group of three couples and it was perfect for us!
We would definitely stay there again on our next visit to Dubrovnik ! I would recommend the off season - (October for us). It was crowded, but apparently not even close to the summer crowds. Loved it!!

Dubrovnik Villa
A beautiful property with a wonderful view! It was 7 of us and we spacious for all of us....walkable to town (some steps which is to be expected), but the check in was smooth. Wonderful spot - would love to visit again!

Location, Location, Location!
Dream come true for a family of 7! We visited Croatia for the first time and had an amazing time. We stayed for 4 nights and the house certainly didn’t disappoint. The view of Old Town Dubrovnik from both balconies was spectacular. The house was located less than a 10 minute walk to the Old Town and 5 minutes to the beautiful Banji Beach. There was a store only a minute walk away. After spending the days exploring the Old Town we spent our evenings enjoying the outside dining area and relaxing on the upper balcony. That view was a highlight of our trip...memories to last a lifetime! We had a minor issue with the AC but the problem was addressed in a very timely manner. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Location, Location, Location
South side of town and away from tourist areas. Great place for four couples. Got sausages and pork collar steaks from Taj's Butcheraj and rest of food stuffs from Pemo's for bbq and alfresco dining on the terrace with a view of the Old Town and Walls. Sveti Jakov Beach is easy 20 min walk and has great restaurant and service. Better view than Banje beach and quieter

Great stay!
Villa Branko is a very nice house with a great view and good location, we very much enjoyed our stay! The house was appointed as expected from the listing and the views are hard to describe, just stunning. Those views come at a bit of a price, with the hike back from the beach and town a bit steep, but great for working off a big dinner and well worth it in our book.
Loneta, the local property manager, was amazing as well. I ended up having a bit of a medical emergency during our stay and she went far above and beyond what should be expected to help.
All in all, we'd definitely recommend staying here!

Comfortable Stay in a Beautiful Location
Villa Branko is located in the best area for walking to Old Town Dubrovnik. The view from the balcony is just as it is pictured--it is breath-taking. All of the mattresses and bedding are new. The beds were very comfortable. It is amazing to find a place with 41/2 baths. It made it so easy to get ready in the morning for our adventures. In some of the reviews it is mentioned that the place is not updated. I found that to be part of the charm. The side yard with table was great. The house was very clean. There is a grocery store just up the road. The area is full of restaurants, bars, etc..
The owner was extremely easy to work with and responded quickly to all of our questions. This is a great location to explore Dubrovnik from. I would strongly recommend Villa Branko.

October 17 - 20
The location and view of this property are fantastic and it is very close to the Old City. We also enjoyed the spaciousness (4 bedrooms/4 bathrooms).
While we enjoyed the superb view and convenient location, we did not enjoy the beds. All of us found the beds to be lumpy, bumpy and uncomfortable, likely very old and long past replacement date.
Also we would rate the cleanliness of the bathrooms were barely passable. One of the ensuite bathrooms contains a tub/shower combo with a shower curtain that should be replaced as it is very dirty and gross.
Also beware that there is no available parking. We arrived with a rental car and needed a spot for the night only. Our hostess was vague with parking recommendations and it took us an hour to find a parking spot. As it was late and dark, and we were tired after a long travel day it was frustrating to have little help. We would have appreciated more specifics in terms of parking options (such as: "there is hourly parking available close by near the Old City; here's how to find it" instead of "maybe up the street by the market" ).

Stunning views and access to Old City & amenities are priceless!
Three terraces make this home memorable and us wishing to return. Excellent air conditioning in all rooms and good WiFi top our list of amenities. Fully equipped kitchen (sans an American size coffee pot!) has all you can ask for and more. The washing machine and outdoor drying are a plus. Every bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. Beds are a bit lumpy, but adequate. Booking was efficient with Katherine through VRBO/Home Away and she even offers to have her manager stock the fridge! Daniel greeted us upon arrival to the property. He provided not only great restaurant and city tips, but a history lesson as well. I would love to spend a month here to putter in the outdoor gardens. The home may be dated, but the simply spectacular views, the 6 minute walk to the Old City gates and easy access to groceries etc. make it 5 stars in our well traveled book.

Fantastic!
My family of eight stayed 3 nights at Villa Branko on our first visit to Dubrovnik. It was absolutely wonderful! House and location are perfect, Lonetta (the house manager) was very helpful, market, bakery, beach, old town all within easy walking distance.
Highly recommend!!

Fabulous view and location for a family visit
Our family of four adults had a wonderful 5 days at Villa Branko - a great location for exploring the city and beaches of Dubrovnik. The views are spectacular. The house is very comfortable, with lots of space and amenities. There is a grocery store just up the street and a bakery just down, near the cable car (making it easy to go up to see the amazing panorama). We walked everywhere and never had to take a cab - just walked home in the lovely summer evening air. But be prepared to walk up and down lots of stairs, as Dubrovnik is very vertical so Villa Branko is too. Also, some in our group would have liked stronger air conditioning as we visited in August (note that the back rooms have fans, while the front rooms -- which get direct sun -- have AC), but otherwise we had all we needed for a wonderful time in Dubrovnik. It's 5 minutes to the beach, 10 minutes to the city sights - I recommend Villa Branko highly!

Couldn't ask for more!
I cannot praise the Villa Branko enough. We had an AMAZING stay there while in Dubrovnik. It really was perfect. It was everything I had envisioned and wanted - walking distance to the old town, walking distance to the beach, and great views and lots of space to hang out as a group. Seriously, the view of the old town alone was worth every euro. We jokingly called it the million dollar view. We were 4 different couples, so each of us had our own bedroom with bathroom. Also, we did not take advantage of the outdoor barbecue, as we went out every night, but highlighting it because knowing it was an option was also a plus. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking of visiting Dubrovnik. Consider it your home away from home.

Perfect Villa for our family!
Villa Branko was perfect for our family of four - a beautiful home with plenty of space for all of us - and the perfect location for exploring Dubrovnik and the surrounding area. We couldn't have appreciated how ideal the location was until we arrived. Villa Branko is a short walk outside the walled city, which made it convenient to explore the Old Town everyday without having to deal with the noise, crowds and endless stairs of living inside Old Town. The views were amazing, we didn't want to leave. The nearby grocery, cafe and bakery were very convenient; we found everything we needed within walking distance. The A/C was a welcomed respite after a day of exploring in the August heat. Finally, the owner was very responsive and helpful with local advice; she met us upon our arrival and made sure we were comfortable during the week. We highly recommend Villa Branko.

Great place to stay while visiting Dubrovnik
Villa Branko was very well set up for our family while we visited Dubrovnik. Having been there I can now say that it is in the most desirable part of town to stay. It is walking distance to the old town, and to the beach, and there is a grocery store and a cafe a few doors up. The back two bedrooms do not have a/c, which I did not realize before booking, and while we were there it was very hot. The outdoor sitting area is lovely, and the whole house is decorated very nicely and the bathrooms are all very new. It has the most incredible view of the walled city! I would stay there again the next time I am in Dubrovnik and I would recommend it to my friends.

A Croatian Gem
Villa Branko is the perfect home away from home in beautiful Dubrovnik. Everything was as advertised and described. There was more than ample room for six of us in the very comfortable bedrooms and plenty of living space in the family / living room where we enjoyed a panoramic view of the old town and the Island of Lokrum. Four couples would still have plenty of space.
A friendly neighborhood with local grocery store and bakery nearby. A bus stop directly across the road was an easy link to the rest of town. The owner Katherine in the US was easy to work with and her Manager Lonetta in Croatia was so helpful and concerned for our enjoyment and satisfaction. We had some great meals and BBQ's at the house and also enjoyed some of the local restaurants. The sunsets along with Maro and Baro the pet turtles provided entertainment while we had evening drinks on the patio. We would not hesitate at a chance to return to Dubrovnik and Villa Branko.
