Unsurpassed combination of charm and location, this legendary cottage will create an experience long remembered.
It’s no wonder this bustling location earns a Walk Score® of 86. It is at the crossroads of all things going on in the center of Bend.
You are situated just a block from the Galveston Bridge overlooking the final yards of the Deschutes River float trip from the Old Mill to downtown. Keep that in mind as you plan your own leisurely cruise on your watercraft of choice. The vibrant Galveston corridor is home to a plethora of brew pubs, restaurants, food carts, and coffee shops.
Across the street is Drake Park. Catch a free Munch ‘n Music event on a postcard summer evening, or a year-round saunter along the river. Next to the park is downtown Bend, with endless choices for dinner, shopping, people-watching, refreshing craft beers, or a cup of locally roasted coffee. Street festivals, art fairs, live music and Tower Theater events dot the calendar all year. In the summer, you will be first in line at the downtown farmer’s market.
Bring your bikes and easily extend your touring experience through the historic neighborhoods to the Box Factory, Whitewater Park, and The Old Mill where you can spend the afternoon shopping, movie-going, trekking on numerous river trails, and wine tasting. When you return, lock the two-wheelers in our shed for safekeeping.
The 473 is a wonderful study in 'tiny living'. At about 400 sqft, it has everything you need and nothing you don't! Updated from top to bottom with fun and creative use of spaces, you'll love this space.
Your home features a comfy pillowtop queen bed. The sleeping area is on the outside corner of the apartment and does not have any shared walls.
If you need to take a breather inside, hunker down in the love seat and enjoy the infra-red fireplace, HD SmartTV, BluRay, read a book, or enjoy what WiFi can offer.
The efficient kitchen is fully stocked with utensils for virtually anything you want to put on the menu. There is cold water filtration at the kitchen sink, so fill the flask before setting out in the morning. Take a seat in the eating nook to relax with your cup of coffee, plan your day, or to enjoy whatever you whipped up.
You also have the option of firing up the gas grill on the patio and enjoying your favorite homemade alfresco dinner.
The bathroom is tastefully done and provides a combo tub and shower.

Convenient location to downtown Bend. Trouble with air conditioning. Loud clicking noise made sleeping with AC on at night impossible. Reported to iTrip including video and sound they requested. ITrip sent message they will send a “team” over to fix, mesaage followed the “team” said AC was “ defrosting” and “fixed” temp on ac was set at 70 so I didn’t understand “defrosting” comment. Returned in the evening and problem still exists reported again no response until 3rd day when response was “will talk to mgmt” Four days wo air conditioning at night during heat wave and smoke warnings. Over priced mini house with poor mgmt and response. Very good at automated texts asking for 5 stars reviews.

Perfect place for my husband and I to stay. It had everything we needed. 😊

We struggled in the beginning to get the off street parking sorted out as another tenant was taking up multiple parking spots (normally not a problem but this location is in the pickup zone for river floaters, experiences at Drake Park, so street parking is a premium), but once that was sorted out, great place to stay. Loved the proximity to everything. The unit was well appointed and would definitely stay here again. Chris @ iTrip NW was great to deal with.

The Drake college is located right at the end of Drake Park. What a beautiful spot and an easy walk into the downtown area.
The cottage is small, but very comfortable, with a nice functioning little kitchen.
Everything was beautifully maintained. And nicely decorated.
On an additional note, one day after checking out, I discovered I had left several articles of clothing behind. I contacted Leanne and explain to her. By the next morning she had verified that the articles were still there, and I could pick them up, fortunately, I was still in Bend at the time.
We’ve all had this experience before, inadvertently, leaving something behind. Often times those things, just mysteriously disappear, at least that’s been my experience. The Leanne and her team save the day.

It is important to note that it was very difficult to find the property due to the address being incorrect. We love the comfort and the design and the location of Drake cottage 473. After returning back to the cottage late last night, we discovered water on the floor in the kitchen. We were able to turn the water off to prevent water damage.

The home was next to the Deschutes River trail, and really close to everything, but still a quiet neighborhood.

A perfect central location to be able to explore Bend. The only speed bump was the code that was first given for check in was incorrect but it was quickly resolved by staff.

This was a great location, and while the cottage is tiny, it had everything we needed. The fireplace sitting area with the view of the park was really nice in the evening, and the bed was very comfortable. If you want a fancy place where you spend your whole vacation, this place is not that and would become claustrophobic pretty quick. And if you want a place to sleep and keep your stuff and cook an occasional meal, within walking distance to explore Bend, at an affordable price, this place is great.

It was a perfect stay!!! We were attending the Bend Film Festival, and most of the films were downtown and we could just walk to them... The bed was comfortable (well, the pillows were too thick for my husband, but there were others in the closet!!! Thanks for that!) The kitchen is very well supplied, with lots of basics, like cooking oil, salt and pepper, spices, good coffee and decent tea bags!!! What a treat for this tea drinker to have green tea bags supplied! The patio looked amazing, but we were so involved with the film fest that we didn't take time to enjoy it! Thanks for a great stay... we are already thinking of possibly coming next year!

We absolutely loved our time here! Great location, right across the street from the river and really close to all the fun local attractions Bend has to offer. We were able to walk pretty much everywhere and felt completely safe doing so. The place was exactly as described in the listing and we had access to everything we needed.

Great location, smaller interior than expected. Steps from River path and all local spots, but you have to like to walk. Be aware you’re on corner of busy intersection. Overall, very comfortable with everything you need if cooking in. Great location one more time.

This property is in the perfect location for anyone wanting to explore Bend and the surrounding areas. It was so relaxing to enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio while looking at the river which is literally across the street. The people watching on the weekend is fun as well. It is located on a busy corner of a main road so there is some daytime traffic noise, but inside you can barely hear it and is very light in the evening. We walked easily to the Old Mill District and saw a couple of shows at the amphitheater. Not having to drive and find parking was clutch! You're also close to downtown Bend where there is a lot of fun shopping. The property was very clean and the bed was super comfy! I'm already looking forward to my next trip up. : )

Clean cottage very close to downtown Bend. Very much enjoyed staying in the unit.

Comfy and perfectly located! Great for a short visit of a week or less, since there’s not tons of storage space for lots of luggage, and no washer/dryer. We stayed five nights and it was perfect. Just enough kitchen to have a few breakfasts in, and make some picnic lunches to take out, and close enough to great bars and restaurants for evenings out!

This is a a great location!! The home is perfect for a two people. We enjoyed the easy access to floating, biking. dining, and the music/vendors in the park on Thursday evening. It got a bit warm, even with the A/C on, but there was a fan in the closet that came in handy. We loved sitting outside, drinking coffee and playing scrabble with the beautiful view of the river. The owner was very responsive and check-in was very easy. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Cute as a bug. Well equipped. Beautiful landscaping. We sat in the Adirondack chairs every morning and every night watching people float down the Deschutes river through Drake Park. 2-3 blocks down the street there are plenty of great places to eat and drink.

Ideal Location
My husband and I stayed for five nights while visiting family in Bend. The location is wonderful. Great for morning walks, access to Mirror Pond, wandering downtown for a leisurely coffee, poking around in shops, walking to dinner or taking an evening walk and stopping gelato.
This is a very busy area during the day but completely quiet at night.
As clearly stated in the description, the house is tiny, which was perfect for us as when didn't spend much time inside. Renters should be sure they understand it is small, though it provides everything one needs.
