The property is in an excellent location for activities in little five points. It was easily walkable. It was an older home. So it was really cool from that respect if you like that vibe. The mattress in our room seem to be very old with little support. Parking is very limited and tight but is common for this area. The communication with the owner was difficult with poor response, and a rather rude tone. I would stay there again just due to the location.

Always good. Have stayed at the host properties for years now

Really nice/walkable location, Scott answered all the questions I had during my stay

Older home but cute! Exactly how it was described. Worked for our big family.

The stay was good. It took awhile for Scott to respond. He had warned about knowing the House Manual backwards and forwards, so we were prepared for that; but the passwords were not where the Manual said; then he didn’t respond for 12 hours. That was inconvenient. We wanted to play games with our granddaughter and the ones there were not complete. We should have brought our own .

This house is in a wonderful area.
Short walk to many funky places to eat etc
The beds were clean and felt new which was great but everything else felt very used.
The shower door would not open.
Ants in kitchen
Couch smelled like dog
The porch was very dirty. I didn’t want to sit out there to absorb the awesome neighborhood.
Appliances old and kind of yucky
Overall if I was still 20 and didn’t care about cleanliness, things working properly, and wanted to stay in a cool old home in a great location (which I very much used to!) it’d be perfect!

s: Beautiful structure, High ceilings, nice furnishings.
Would certainly stay again.
So-sos: Railing on front sidewalk is loose,
Slightly dark in the hallway, a little tough to read the lockbox buttons.
During our stay, the city had a steel plate on the road; loud.
(But certainly not anything the owner could address.)

The unit was clean
, comfortable and affordable. It was only an eight minute walk from my planned venue ( Variety Playhouse) and several shops and places to dine.

Very good, washer dryer not working, lock box fell apart

Great location and very accommodating. Clean and comfortable.
Tub/shower difficult for older or mobility issues, the tub has shower doors that do not slide well..
Take a Firestick or Roku, if you want to watch any TV, the Chrome was locked by another user.

We scheduled as a stop off from our vacation in order to attend a concert in downtown Atlanta. It is a beautiful home located conveniently near numerous activity spots. We were a 10 minute Lyft ride to State Farm Arena. We had a family emergency after the concert and were unable to spend the night. However, this gorgeous home allowed us to shower, change and our yorkie to rest for a few hours. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE. This owner completely stopped responding to me or VRBO- and would not refund me even though we did not stay in his unit.
The unit does NOT have TV (local channels were pixelated) no cable tv. A broken chromecast with no instructions was on the wall that owner had no idea how to use. The temperature was 55 degrees inside (it was 35 outside). and would not warm even after 90 minutes. Floors were unkept and filthy especially in the kitchen and there was old food in the fridge. We had children and had to get to a warm place. The owner completely stopped responding on the VRBO app nor direct text so we left and had to rent a hotel. He was RUDE on the few times he did respond and completely UNRESPONSIVE once I complained and told him I had to leave.
I waited over 2 weeks to leave a rating to see if he would respond to vrbo and do the right thing. He did not. He kept my $500! THIS GUY IS A TOTAL SCAM!

House dark when drove up. Needs to be porch lights on. Back deck m front of back door - the wood is rotted. Porch is slippery when wet with rain. Just updating a little- would help place. Lamp in our room was broken when we got there - talk lamp. Place is Beautiful during the days- windows stunning- Just needs some TLC.

What a sweet, pet friendly find at a great value. The rental was very clean, comfortable and perfectly functional. The location is fantastic - close to shops, restaurants, and a great walking trail. So thankful for pet friendly, too. Would definitely stay here again. Positive experience.

Lovely old home, as advertised. Shower faucet needs to be replaced soon, but over all a great stay!

Very convenient location, close to Marta, Little Five, quiet neighborhood. May be haunted……which is kinda cool. Will book again!

Should have booked a hotel
My husband, three boys, and dog stayed at this property for two days. My husband had an allergic reaction to the foreign pet dander as soon as we walked in. I swept quite a bit of fur and food particles from beneath the furniture before we felt comfortable staying. There were stains on the walls I didn't bother trying to clean myself. Everything in the apartment was worn out. If you have an oversized vehicle, you will not be able to park there. The house manual was written in a very offensive way that worked together with the all caps warnings written on the walls to make us feel like unwanted guests instead of paying clients. We reached out to the owners sharing this information in a respectful way and we're responded to very rudely and blamed for not being satisfied with the level of cleanliness. We will not be returning.

Needs improvement
Well, it is not often I give a negative review, but I have negative feedback for sure. First the pros-the apartment is roomy, with high ceilings and nice hardwood floors. The area is cute and walkable, with lots of restaurants nearby. It was clear the floors, countertops, etc. had been cleaned, and the owner thoughtfully left a few snacks like chips and granola bars. The cons far outweighed these pros for us, unfortunately. I messaged the owner when we arrived around 6:30 pm to let him know one of the beds was missing sheets. Apparently this message did not go through (although I see the time stamp on my end; there was disagreement about the timing of my communication), so I messaged again a little after 10pm to say we were making do with the bedding we had and going to bed, with the hopes we could obtain sheets the following day. The owner initially told me I was wrong and there were sheets on the bed (? we all know a mattress when we see one), and then came down from upstairs to provide me sheets. I know this was intended to be helpful, but the repeated knocking while I was getting in shower and my son was asleep had the opposite effect. It was discomforting, particularly as a woman traveler. The shower handle came off in my hand when I tried to turn it on, it had clearly been broken and set back on. While we could adjust the heat, it was only temporary, and it reverted back to 62 degrees every 2-3 hours over the night. We woke up cold several times and restarted the heat. The sheets we did have seemed clean, but the comforters and other bedding did not appear/smell recently washed. The towels were meager and old, and need to be replaced. The general tone of the communication was skeptical as opposed to hospitable. There is one email with all of the information regarding check in, house code, etc., this is not available on the VRBO website. We left cold and without a shower a day early, and felt clear that the owner was not going to make any concessions. It was a negative experience, and we would not stay again.

Great Location
Great location! Savage Pizza 5 minutes away is delicious. You will have to have the ac turned on remotely as the default is 77? Also the door handle might fall off the front door. Make sure to ask in advance if you want to use the washer or dryer. Again awesome location!

Bachelorette Party
We had a quiet bachelorette weekend and enjoyed our stay. Friendly owner and plenty of space.

The apt. was somewhat drafty. If we had small children it would have been too cold.
Okay place. Owner has tried to make stay as nice as possible.

Comfortable home in good location
The house is about 20 minutes drive from the airport, and gps brought us directly without issues.
We arrived before check-in time, buy the young lady preparing the rooms told use ours was ready, so we relaxed early.
The house reminds me of old boarding house in that there are maybe 5 living areas available, each with its own kitchen, bath etc.
The floors were pretty hardwood, and had old style tall ceilings.
The furniture was not elegant, but was comfortable and nice.
Because we only stayed 1 night, the cleaning fee caused our cost to be above average, but it was still comparable to a hotel, and much more comfortable.
We appreciated the use of the home, and would definitely stay there again.

Pleasant and roomy accommodation
Great location with parking.

old, but nice
This apartment is a divided part of an old house. Scott, the owner, lives across the hall and is working all the time on the house and his other properties. Everything worked well. The driveway is very narrow for modern cars and we were quite lucky that all the parking spaces were not used. Anyone who has trouble with stairs needs to reconsider this place. The place is in a great location being near little five points and Chandler Park. It is quite easy to find.

Perfect Atlanta vacation spot
We had a perfect time! The house is located near Little Five Points, which has everything anyone might need to enjoy their stay! Great food, great shopping, beautiful scenery... We will definitely stay here the next time we are "staycationing" in Atlanta!
