This apartment is spacious, comfortable, and well-lit with natural light. It offers an amazing and uninterrupted view of the ocean through a wall of east-facing windows. The photographs on display are actual views captured from the property. The perfect place to witness the annual whale migration, you can enjoy the sightings from the comfort of the living area or the deck.
A short drive or walk to the beach and popular swimming spot at Kianniny Bay.
The View is located on a peaceful street that provides a serene environment with direct access to the coastal reserve and stunning clifftop ocean walks. The View is an excellent holiday retreat that is only a short walk away from Tathra Beach, a safe and sheltered spot for swimming at Kianinny Bay, and a variety of local shops, cafes, and restaurants.
The apartment features a spacious deck, a generously sized open-plan living area, two bedrooms, and a bathroom equipped with laundry facilities. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, while the second one comes with bunk beds.
Parking is available on the property, and you can access it by taking four steps down from the carpark. From there, you'll need to take three more steps to enter the apartment.
The View is a perfect retreat for vacationers who want to relax in a cosy lounge while enjoying the beautiful view of the rolling waves, and bird and animal life even during a rainy day. Tathra, a small coastal village, is conveniently located between Eden and Bermagui and is surrounded by National Parks, making it an ideal spot to unwind.

A beautiful clean, bright & spacious accomodation. Full view of ocean & a whale! Delightful host. Advertisement says private wilderness however the owners were living above. The noise level from same was huge. Had we been informed of same we would have considered our options. Open disclosure would have been great.

Excellent location and excellent hosts. The dining / living area is the length of the house, facing east, with more than 50% window coverage while still being private. Great mix of ocean (with the odd whale) and vegetation (birds) to take in while sitting and doing nothing. Hope to visit again soon!

This is a lovely property in all respects. Light-filled, clean and very comfortable, set in beautiful gardens, in a quiet and peaceful location - and with an absolutely mesmerising view.

We had such a lovely relaxing stay at “the View”. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed looking out over the ocean and watching the weather change. We also enjoyed the walk along the cliff tops bush track from the backyard. I dare say we will come again! Thank you 😊

Property was all it promised, was presented beautifully and was well located with just a 15min walk to the Tathra Pub (with its own brewery and live entertainment), the wharf and the shops. The sea view was excellent making it a pleasant spot and we had spectacular electrical storms over the sea. Owners were helpful and pleasant. Undercover parking for our vehicle as well. Very happy with our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The View in Tathra. Paul and Lee were friendly and considerate hosts who gave us space to enjoy our family holiday. The property was spotless and thoughtfully appointed, and the view from the living areas was just gorgeous. We saw Sea Eagles flying over the water and other birdlife in the garden. It would be an amazing location during whale migration seasons! We hope to visit again and happily recommend it to others.

Peaceful stay in a lovely place
We really enjoyed our stay in Tathra. The village is a great family holiday destination - safe and beautiful beach, excellent bike trails, good cafes. The home itself was just as advertised - well fit out and lovely touches like the blankets, beautiful view and gardens, very tranquil. The hosts were there when needed but otherwise very discreet. Only thing to note re location is that it is quite a walk/ride down to the beach - this was fine for us but might be challenging for older guests or those with young children. We hope to return.

This is a beautiful apartment with nice view. Very clean and fresh and well presented. Lovely garden and pleasant walk behind the property. Nice hosts and quiet good dogs. Reception is a bit weak, but really enjoyed the sea, back garden and nature surrounding.

Lovely place, great location on headland
Agree with other happy holidayers- this apartment is lovely for it's view, comfort and cleanliness. We especially loved the full glass East-facing view. About 10 minutes walk up and down to the main beach, and very close to clifftop walks and shops. Hosts are both very friendly, and the dogs were very sweet and quiet.

Spectacular is an overused word but it most definitely applies to "The View". Linen and towels perfectly clean and fresh. Immaculate presentation and fully equipped including tasty condiments in the pantry. A comprehensive Compendium added to our enjoyment. Hosts Paul and Lee most accommodating with genuine friendliness that is always appreciated when staying in a new venue. We had a beautiful weekend at the view. The views are incredible and it’s located in a fantastic spot... great walking tracks along the coastline from the front of the property and walking distance to the Tathra pub. We had an incredibly relaxing weekend & would definitely stay again.

Summer stay
My husband, son and I had a lovely 5 night stay at The View in Tathra. We were 10 minutes walk away from a swim in the beautiful protected waters of Kianinny and 10 minutes walk in the other direction to magnificent Tathra Beach. Tathra is a hidden gem with so many walks, beaches, inlets, bird watching and the list goes on.
The accommodation was spotless, well equipped and very comfortable and the owners are delightful. There is a lovely little deck where you can sit any time of the day and enjoy the sounds and view of the sapphire waters of the South Coast. Dinner at the Tathra Hotel is a must!

Wow it certainly is the view
Lovely feel from the moment we walked in the door. Immaculately clean is under stating how impeccably clean every nook and cranny was, we've never stayed anywhere like it. The unit was tastefully decorated and the kitchen was really well stocked. It was lovely sitting on the deck outside for breakfast or an afternoon beverage. The bed was really comfortable too and we slept very well. It was a comfortable short walk to the local pub which was excellent. The unit is very well located and close to everything you'd need. Overall highly recommended, a really beautiful spot to recharge.

The View Experience
Hosts of the property were so accommodating and helpful. The property itself was faultless - clean, tidy and comfortable. All essentials were there, all we had to do was unpack!! Love the view of the ocean from the balcony. Lee & Paul were very hospitable and kind.
