An apartment for 2 Person. The view directly in front of the apartment is just unbelieveble. The Host is very friendly, helping and professionell. Camara de Lobos is also an "Place to be". We hope we will came back again. To Funchal in 30 minutes with bus (round 3€). Same Way with Taxi round 45€.

Excellent seafront location in Camara de Lobos. Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of work going on around the village and the coastline (no access to beach). Nice view on the Ocean and only 5 minutes walk to the centre of the very pleasant village. The apartment was very nicely furnished, with lovely wood antique pieces, and the flat was very well maintained. It was useful to have a washing machine.
The flat was comfortable, well appointed, and easy to live in. It was good to have a bedroom separate from the lounge.
Kitchen utensils and crockery were very limited, for this type of generally well-equipped flat (e.g. only one small frying pan, could hardly take more than a slice of fish; only 3 spoons and 4 tinny knives and forks; no colander,…). A small expense of less than €100 would make a nice difference in the kitchen.
It would have been useful to have a second set of keys.
The beach we were recommended (Praia Formosa) is a serious walk away — 30-40 minutes.

The location is great, and the house is beautiful on both the outside and inside. People even stop to take pictures with the house sometimes!
Free parking outside, although not always available (but very cheap parking close by!).
The company taking care of check in and checking that our stay went okay were always available in case something happened (even late at night).
Ventilation isn't great, can get hot as there are no windows. Can only open the front doors for fresh air. But there is a fan and an AC if needed, so not too bad.

Superb terrace view and location (good all-round supermarket just up the hill). Helpful staff on WhatsApp. Characterful interior.
Could be a little tight for space with 2 people and luggage. For a solo traveller, fine.

Our stay at Casa de Praia was beautiful! Waking up to the ocean and enjoying the balcony was second to none. The location was perfect, as it was an easy walk into the town center.
The kitchen was small, so it was hard to cook when we wanted to. The weather is also mild year-round, but heads up that there is no air conditioner.

The location is phenomenal. Small historic fishing village with walking distance to a beautiful coastal path and restaurants. Good mix of locals and tourists. Property management was nice and easy to get ahold of.
One very minor thing which could have made it more comfortable is a light cotton blanket. One on the bed was synthetic and made it a little uncomfortable to sleep on a hot summer night.

I stayed on the apt on the 2nd floor, and it's a charming and cozy apartment right in front of the sea with tasteful furnishings. Host and team were always helpful and prompt in responding, big thanks to them in addressing my needs, big and small. When I stayed there, I could see the building always catching passers-by attention as it's strategically located painted with an attractive yellow color. Yes, there are some cars passing by but it's not a busy street so it shouldn't be a concern. Slept well in the night. Being able to hear the sound of waves and see locals fishing out in the big rocks is a plus. Camara do Lobos is a charming village to stay with a few good restaurants in proximity.
Nothing really, maybe the kitchen sink is a bit hard to drain all the water as it's bit flat. No major issue.

The apartments was in perfect place in front of the sea, 200m from beach. Seaview was amazing, big private balcony, in front of new space place. Very good equipment of kitchen, everything what you need. In room or bathroom not many space but enough for 2 persons. Very recommend this place and apartments.

The apartment was very beautifully decorated and so clean it felt we were the first guests ever. Amazing! Both hosts we came in contact with were very professional and friendly.
BUT - I didn't see from the posting on booking.com that we were in the ground floor apartment, which isn't that bad, as it is a small quiet residential street, but there is no chance to open any windows at night, as the apartment only has doors, to the street. I slept very badly as I had to get up every night to air out everything. In summer it would have been unbearable.

The decor was enchanting and having the balcony was a real bonus. The location was great, good views, parking nearby. Washing machine helpful. Very clean and tidy.
Lack of space for food preparation, leaking coffee machine.
Plastic mattress protector was terrible; why not use the usual thick cotton protectors.

Nice interior
Excellent shower
General appearance felt worthy and attention to detail
The location just across the ocean, amazing sunsets just out the door
Close local market and suoermercado 10 minutes walk
Super quick communication to staff via WhatsApp
Hands on cleaning team very reliable
Fruit basket and fresh flowers, very nice!
Ridiculous concept of fresh ocean breeze.. impossible to open windows at night without opening doors to the public..especially on hot nights; listening to sound of waves while falling asleep is simply not possible due to missing windows:-(
Big minus to us.. sry we suggest at least small OPENABLE windows within the wooden doors in the bedroom..
Any small road has speed bumps, but not the road in front of that door.. cars, motorcycles speeding near by in the hour of dawn.. very unfortunate:-(
Speaking of attention to detail, shouldn't there be a small shelf within the shower? We put our shower stuff on the bathroom floor.. complentary supplements would be a nice benefit..
The bed is little too small for two..

This appartment was one of our best accommodation of our abroad travelling tours. We loved this place especially the view to the sea !!! We really like the design of all rooms. Location was very good close to the town centre and to the beach. Everything was excellent therefore we didn´t want to leave ...
Sometimes there was a problem with parking. Fortunatelly we always find some place !

It’s decor is so tasteful, mixing old and new in just the right way. Whoever remodeled it and decorated it, has faultless taste.
It sits on a little road overlooking the sea with a beautiful bay to the left filled with picturesque painted fishing boats and to the right, a longer pebble beach. It’s close to cafes and the supermarket, but still carries a little village feel.
It has been thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed to make the stay comfortable.
Really there was nothing to dislike at all. They understandably put a plastic undersheet on the bed, which I’m not a huge fan of. And the bedding could have been a bit higher quality... but I am nitpicking. It was AWESOME to stay there and I’d return in a heartbeat.

The flat was lovely and the view was amazing. Beatriz was so amazing and helpful. However the constant noise forced us to leave the flat as early as 7 and just stay out as you couldn't sit on the balcony due to the constant noise from the flat behind.
The issue was casa da praia is the constant noise from the neighbouring flat. They have a dog that barked constantly for 6 days, anywhere from 5 to 8 hours a day.
