Amazing

We have spend there only 2 night, but we were really more than happy! The place - the host was so friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend. The stunning beach front view even if there is the trees which make the place more private and super relaxed. Thanks a lot i will come back again for sure.

Exceptional

Angelina is fantastic host and this simple and comfortable room is the perfect beach getaway. We had a very late check-in, and Angelina was up in the middle of the night to show us the room. From the room, you can see the ocean and it's a minute walk to the nearest cafè and to the beach. I can only recommend it.

Don't come here. It's a waste of time and money.

Unfortunately, we didn't like anything.

To give you an idea of how good we felt, we paid for 5 nights and we stayed 2 nights. The reason for our departure was that the pictures on the booking do not correspond to reality. From the pictures it appears that the location is on the beach and the apartment is much bigger, instead the apartment was quite far from the beach and very, very small. The apartment was located in an area where other houses were being built, and from the window of the apartment I could see the construction materials, as well as from the terrace. The main reason why I chose the location was the view to the Ocean, but the Ocean was not visible from the trees that were grown in front of the house, which means that the booking pictures are old. The sun reached the terrace only from 13:00 PM, until 13:00 PM we could not sit on the terrace because it was in the shade and cold. When I entered the apartment, it smelled very bad, of old status wood. I didn't have any table in the apartment. The bed and the doors creaked with every movement I made. The bathroom was very small, the door hit the toilet. The price-quality ratio is completely disproportionate. Our stay was disastrous. I'm attaching some pictures for you to think about before staying here.

Grrat getaway on the ocean yet close to Lisbon and the action.

Loved that it was by the beach. Angelina was tremendous, helpful and friendly. Great restaurants and fun watching the surfers. Easy to get into Lisbon by car/ ferry. dropped right into the city center then back for a relaxing time by the ocean.

The room and bathroom was pretty tight but workable. Booking.com had bad directions to get there but we made it. It has happened before and Angelina was on the alert.

Close to the beach

The owner was friendly, giving us tips on what and where to eat. The loction is 2 min away from the beach, which was amazing. One could hear the waves when going to sleep or waking up in the morning. There's also a local caffee/ bakery place just in front of the property.

There is no sea view due to the trees that have grown tall - meaning the pictures one sees on Booking are quite old. This was some kind of disappointment to us, as it was one of the main reasons for picking this property. The bed was another disappointment - squeaking at every move. The mattress was also bigger than the bed frame, which led to one size of the bed being higher & one of us sleeping quite uncomfortably.

There is one thing above all that makes this place an experience not to be missed and that is the host, Angelina. That woman will make your stay a very special one, she is lovely, kind-hearted and really wants to make sure that you are having a great holiday in Fonte da Telha. Thank you again Angelina for all your kindness and lovely food!! The location is fabulous and the views gorgeous, the room itself is not that big as someone else wrote,but we had everything we needed including a fridge, microwave, dishes and a coffee machine. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend staying with Angelina.

Great little room for a short stay in a really laid back town.

Lovely room right opposite the beach and near to restaurants and bars. Lovely hostess Angelina who was very involved. She owns the much larger apartment next door to the room which would be even better but it was fully booked. Would definitely recommend the smaller room for a short stay though.

Such a cute charming place with ocean view. Angelina is very sweet and helpful.

The beach house is very charming. You can hear the ocean all day long. Host Angelina is super sweet and helpful.

Once you have booked, the Booking app gives you directions to a location which is about 400m from the actual place. Make sure that host Angelina sends you the right directions. Once you know it is very easy to find.
