About this house rental

4300+ square feet, two-story home adjacent to the forested green belt area (no rear neighbors) only one block from the water.
Rents Sat to Sat only for $2,800 per week; security deposit is $1,000 and cleaning fee is $200. Enjoy more than 150 feet of wrap around deck to relax as you appreciate the great outdoors. We are half a mile to Rec 1 and the boat launch. The main floor has the kitchen with breakfast nook, great room, dining table for 10, and three bedrooms. Five sliding glass doors on this level bring ample light and outdoor feel. The master has a CA king bed and futon, second room has a queen size bed, third room a CA king. Two bathrooms upstairs (one in the master), one large restroom downstairs.

Downstairs is the 'play area', complete with three bedrooms, a pool table with ping pong top, full bar area, foosball coffee table, and living area to relax and enjoy the festivities. The bedrooms are very large. Bedroom #1 has two queen beds, #2 two queens, #3 one queen. Five queen beds downstairs where 10 can sleep comfortably and not be crammed into tight spaces. Bedrooms all have new mattresses with a variety of soft and firm for you to choose from.

House includes plenty of boat trailer parking, BBQ grill, picnic tables, etc.

Lake Almanor Country Club offers great amenities for the entire family. Golf course (two others outside the country club), two recreation areas, organized events for the kids, jogging areas, etc. Rec 1 amenities include:
Swimming cove with sandy beach & boat launch

Pleasant stay

Pleasant stay

We had two little kids, ages 4 1/2 and 3. They loved it hear and had a great time with the space they had. As long as the kids had a great time that all that matters to me. If I had to grumble about something it would be having to use stairs to get to the main level, from outside, and not having drapes in some of the bedrooms. Other then that everyone enjoyed their stay, thank you Bert and Christie.

Great home for big family vacation. Very comfortable, large rooms, close to tennis courts, recreation area, golf courses. Deer wandered on the lawns daily, huge balcony, plenty of parking. Large Living room w/ tv, great room downstairs w/ pool table, ping pong, tv, jacuzzi and bar. Very comfortable and allowed everyone space without feeling they were tripping over each other. Hosts were accommodating and responsive. For big families with kids, this is an excellent choice.

The location of this property is EXCELLENT! A public lake entrance is just down the street and was perfect for boat pickup, jet ski switches and kayak entrance. The house has beds for everyone, tons of things for kids to do and most all of the kitchen stuff you'd want for a meal. OH yea and so much seating for everyone at dinner. We would love to stay here again next time!!

Great time again!

This was our second time staying at this property, and we had a fantastic time again. The large house caters to all the different activities we like to do, and the having the rec center so close made for some awesome relaxing games. I would love to stay here again, and will continue to do so.

Great house for groups with plenty of fun activities!!

We had a great time during our long weekend at this property. There was plenty of space upstairs and downstairs. The open space upstairs was great for relaxing as a family and the kids really enjoyed all the activities downstairs. The ping pong table was fun and the hot tub was a great bonus. One of the best features had to be the wrap-around deck, which was great taking in the lovely mornings and hanging with friends. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Plenty of room to roam, with lots of activities for all to keep entertained! Great deck, with relaxing view, with lots of open space. Short walk to the beach, tennis, etc.

Very nice for multiple families.

The owners are very nice to work with and the home is great for multiple families. One note; all beds are queen or king so bunking up for kids is necessary unless they want a couch, floor, or a really large bean bag (yes the kids did like to sleep on this!). Wonderful deck space and eating areas, with good appliances for use in the kitchen and plenty of chairs for the deck. The basement playroom is great and all the kids had a great time playing ping pong, billiards and the Wii. We would definately stay here again.

Family Gathering at Lake Almanor

We had a great time during our Lake Almanor family gathering. The house was very comfortable and spacious & easily accommodated our crowd of twelve with room to spare. There were plenty of games and activities provided in the recreation room to keep the kids happy and occupied and the adults really enjoyed the large full wet bar which we stocked during our stay and made good use of. The property is located about a block from the lake and there is lake access at the end of Dyer View which provided a launching point for our fishing canoe. The home is also located a short distance from the large recreation areas and beach which made it very convenient to take the kids to the lake for a swim. There were a couple of items that were not in proper working order during our stay. These included the indoor spa (which the owners informed us about prior to our arrival and which they attempted to have serviced but the service man was not able to complete repairs during our stay); and the bar refrigerator which never seemed to cool or freeze adequately even when set at the highest settings. However, we considered these to be minor inconveniences. Overall, we consider the home a great place to stay with a large crowd (16 or less) and we would consider renting it again if we are vacationing at the lake in the future with a similar sized group of people. Excellent property for a large group

The house is fantastic. Large rooms with lots of beds, a huge dining/living area, and the largest deck I have ever seen on a house. Then there is the downstairs. More huge rooms and a rec area with pool table and a bar, plus a hot tub. And another huge deck. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed to prepare meals and host friends on the deck. The owners were gracious and very attentive to our needs. Everything in the house worked and was exactly as expected when we arrived. Check out was easy. I will be staying here again when I return to Lake Almanor.
