About this apartment rental
You will love our spcious vacation home with well stocked kitchen, 40" flat screen TV and full size washer and dryer. It's on the quiet side of the town where you can hear waves and see deer roaming at the front door! Gas fireplace in living room!
Our vacation home has 2 spacious bedrooms and 2 full size bathroom. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and the other bedroom has 2 twin size beds. The sofa in the living space can be easily pulled out and convert into a full size bed that sleeps 2. If you have a family with younger kids, we have a pack and play and high chair stored in the closet.
This is a unit on the 2nd floor and on the quiet side of the town. Walking distance to the best beach (in my humble opinion) in Ocean Shores (Damon Point).
In the evening, you can read by the cozy gas fireplace while listening to the waves.
Open kitchen has Kitchen Aid Stainless Steel Appliances and has all the essentials for you to make a gourmet meal.
Master bathroom has double vanity with shower. Master bedroom has a huge walk in closet. Guest bathroom has full size tub where you can enjoy a relaxing bath. We provide shampoo and body wash. Of course, clean sheets and towels too!
To keep our cleaning fees low, we do ask our guests to help with washing the sheets upon check out. Our washer and dryer are regular home size ones and takes a while to wash and dry. Please keep this in mind before you book as this home may not be right for you.

Very hard to reach the property using navigation

Overall, a wonderful place to stay. We had a great time, and loved having a clean, roomy place to stay. The kitchen is huge, and well-stocked. Plenty of bedding and towels. The master bed is very comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower is great. Good, strong wifi. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the condo, and the quiet, pleasant area. Oyhut Bay is an adorable community and we really enjoyed the little village, with shops and restaurants in walking distance.
The only complaints we had were that the furniture was a bit uncomfortable, and there was early morning construction noise right outside the window. We had planned to hang out in the condo and play games/do puzzles etc., and ended up not doing as much of that as we had hoped because the couch and chairs were just too uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time. The twin beds were also quite uncomfortable. One of them is just a thin mattress on top of a platform. No box spring. I guess that would be fine for a 4-year-old, but not for an adult.
We totally understand the construction noise was out of the hosts' hands, but it would have been nice to have a heads up.
We would stay here again in a second if we found out the furniture had been updated. If you don't plan on spending a lot of time sitting around in the condo, and have little kids who would use the twin beds, this is probably a great place for you.

Oyhut Bay Village is a relatively new development for Ocean Shores. It is a village of vacation rental houses and condos set in the southern part of Ocean Shores. It is a quiet setting with plenty of natural plant life surrounding the area. The Pacific Ocean is a mile drive to the east or a half mile walk through local vegetation to reach the beach at Damons Point.
For families, there is a nice play area equipped with swings, slides, a sand box, volleyball, horseshoes, and lawn bowling. A nice restaurant, general store and bakery and a beach wear store make up a small commercial area. Most rentals are pet friendly and my people had a dog with them.
There seemed to be many young couples with young kids. There was plenty of space for kids to run around and have fun. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and would go back again in the future.

While the condo was clean it wasn't in great shape. Linens and towels were old/thin. You wouldn't want to even sit on the chairs provided on the back patio for fear they dirt/rust would stain your clothes.
I was not provided a code to get into the condo and had to call the host after we arrived.

The site was very pleasant. Getting in was easy, and the facilities were very comfortable. This is in a nice little community with playgrounds and activities like cornhole, big chess, and bocce ball. There are a couple of shops and a restaurant. There is even a bike rental. Great weekend and very relaxing.

Being able to walk to a cafe that serves delicious food and then head to the ocean for a long walk on the beach was just what I needed.

This property could benefit from some TLC. Screen doors front and back broken. No coffee pot only a Keurig. We had to go buy pods as we had loose grounds. Broken Mr Coffee in a cabinet. Area rugs on top of the wall to wall carpet, a tripping hazard. Broken plastic vertical blinds blocking the view. Shower super slippery, need textured mat. Had no problem starting laundry for our bedding before leaving but unscented detergent should be used for people with allergies. No bedside clock. Tiny round dining room table which didn't work for our card games.

This is a lovely condo. It’s very nicely equipped, and very comfortable. We had an issue with the lock mechanism which was probably our fault, but we would have benefitted from some more instructions on how it worked.

Clamming excursion
Property was in immaculate condition and very clean. Very appreciative of all the nice touches to make it kid friendly: step stools, kid-size table and chairs, plastic cups/bowls, no breakable stuff within toddler reach that I have to relocate, etc. Condo looks to be in a fantastic location. We actually headed north to join friends so we didn't explore the immediate area all that much during our brief stay. Can't wait to go back a bit later in the year and enjoy the surroundings, though.

Will stay again :-)
Stayed here for a short Spring Break getaway and to do some clam digging. Communication with the owner was excellent. Needed to call her when the code wasn't working and we couldn't get in and she answered immediately. Still not sure what happened (thinking our 16 yr old son may have entered the code wrong the first time as he was first to the door). She was pleasant to deal with and we just needed to wait a few minutes for the door lock to reset. Everything was perfect. Would stay here again for sure.

Just had a nice quiet weekend while the kids were at their aunt's house. Just what we needed.

The owner need to update decor and towels. I have never stayed at a rental that was that poorly furnished. It did not even have a coffee table it was 2 end tables put together with a plastic table cloth put on top. I guess you get what you pay for. Guess I will go thru the official website for this vacation development. I have before and the condo was beautiful. The cleaning job was mediocre at best. Sticky counters and hair in the fridge.

Peaceful get away
Very clean, comfortable, easy to relax.
We enjoyed seeing the ocean, deer wandering around, relaxing in the nice open living room and well-appointed kitchen. Would definitely return.

I was really pleasantly surprised at the location. We were .5 mile from the beach, and there were so many amenities right in the neighborhood - a restaurant, bars, market, coffee, yoga studio, games. We definitely want to come back again!

Great location
Nice condo in Oyhut Bay Village. Quiet, secure, has great amenities in walking distance. We love Oyhut Bay grill and walked there daily. Reliable internet and loved the hot water pot for tea. Bldg. has an elevator which was great to use. Nicely stocked kitchen.

Almost perfect
Loved having the elevator! Easy to talk with the owner. Great location with a tiny “village” nearby. The only downside for us was there were no lamps in the livingroom for reading and we are big readers so only had the bed and side lamps.

Three day get away, with family
A very pleasant stay. Well kept location, and a great place for my little granddaughter to play. Also, there were adult activities as well. Beach was farther than expected, but a doable walk. The place pretty much met all our needs.

Cozy Stay & Cute Community
For the location and size of this rental, you cannot beat the price. Cheaper than some hotel rooms, this condo is large and updated. It's nestled in a charming little community of Oyhut Bay cottages and condos, which is a huge plus. People are out riding bikes, walking dogs, and hanging at the local restaurant. The beach path is conveniently located in the community and you can walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes on a beautiful, lush trail. The beach is clean and seems almost private as not many people head that way. The condo is located on the second floor but there are elevators for your luggage if you do not want to take the stairs. I do suggest making sure that you have the numbers to the key pad on the door before setting out on your road trip. This unit is not associated with the rental office on site and cannot help you, should you have questions. The owner of the condo is reachable by cell and vrbo email. We loved this location and will stay in Oyhut Bay again.

Excellent location and community for a family get away
Wow, what a great place and location. Just a few minutes drive from some very beautiful rustic beaches. The Oyhut Bay community is very nice too: lot's of room for the kids to run around outside, a bar/grill and a well stocked market onsite.

Oyhut Bay is a charming little community!
I’m so glad I chose the OB condos vs. a larger more expensive house I was considering. I fell in love with this community right away it is so peaceful and quaint! I wish the grill was open as the menu looked amazing, but our kids enjoyed the playground, chess board, and cornhole. The amenities at Oyhut bay are underrated, friendly neighborhood, and there’s a little bakery and market to shop at for any last minute grocery needs in an easy stroll from your condos. Beach is a 5 minute drive. The condos were immaculate and so spacious. Plenty of room for our family of 4, and the kitchen had dishes for kids. The little high chair was very helpful for our 23mo. And the red tables were perfect height for kids eating space. Tv is streaming services only, so being your PW or borrow an account! Comfy beds too and I have back problems. Five stars and so affordable.

Lots of space
The check in process was super simple. This place has a large kitchen and beautiful matching appliances. 2 large bathrooms and a large balcony. Very nice place for the price, cannot beat it.

Very nice and clean - huge kitchen
Travels with my wife and two kids and this place was great. One room has a queen bed with a private bath. The other room has two twins and is next to the other full bathroom. The kitchen is really large and great for families that are looking to cook some while there. The host was great with communication and all went very smooth. We would be happy to stay at this location with this host again.

Wished we had a better experience staying here.
I had confirmed this stay in April for 2 days in June, paid the trip in full. The day before our arrival the homeowner had messaged me that she was unaware of my 5 guests and asked for more money, I was very confused by this because the trip was confirmed and I had spoke to her shortly after to confirm of how many guests were staying to begin with, she said if I didn't like the extra charge then she would just cancel my trip for me at full refund. This happened before we even got to Ocean shores which was very upsetting how the owner made me feel. This trip was planned for my 9 year old daughter so canceling was not an option. Once we got there the kitchen cabinets, counters had a sticky residue so I wiped everything down again, the dryer had lint all over it and the floor and the carpets weren't vacuumed there was an onion skin by the slider door. I was a little surprised by the cleaning and host fee I had to pay when I still had to clean the unit, also in order to leave you have to start a wash and then throw in the dryer, I understand to help in cleaning time but the place wasn't even very clean. Sadly I won't visit again, but I will stay in one of the rental homes through the Oyhut Bay rental houses their very nice and cute.

Great time at condo
It seemed the owner might've been new to the rental world (scarce furnishings, things still in boxes), but it was everything we needed. I would suggest a larger tv in the living room if possible for families to watch movies. The wifi signal is really BAD. We had to reset the modem at least 4 times to maintain a useable signal. Overall, the condo was nice, great location, kids had a wonderful time and we appreciated the opportunity to stay.

Quiet condo
So after so many months of stress and turmoil, decided to book this condo for part of my healing. I am so glad I did. Super quiet area with a restaurant steps away. Ok it was a block but Still close enough . My daughter loved the playground. Only a few minutes to beach and other shops . Will visit again
