Well located right on the edge of Vail Village, small back balcony overlooking Gore Creek and larger front terrace overlooking the mostly quiet street. Light and airy living/dining room area, plenty of comfortable seating. Well stocked but small kitchen, plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, etc. Despite the hot weather, at night we opened the windows for a lovely breeze and the sound of the creek. A great summer stay for my husband and me and our two adult kids. Also loved that it was connected with Christiana Lodge (swimming pool, daily housekeeping). Be aware that the main level is up a staircase, and the upstairs bedroom and 2nd bath is accessed by a VERY steep staircase. Minor negatives (TV was not HD, coffeemaker and toaster didn’t work well, other things could be updated) but we will definitely be returning.

Unit is somewhat outdated, but still comfortable, well-appointed and spacious. Location is fantastic. Check-in and out process was quick and easy.

Very comfortable and spacious property. Can't beat the location to vail village and the gondola

We loved the Christiania location and the stuff was friendly and helpful! Easy walk to everything in vail village, restaurants and lifts were mere minutes from our door. We will definitely stay again and continue to make memories with our family.

We rented this property based on location and space for family to have own rooms.
We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the entire facility-especially bathrooms and carpets. The bathrooms were unclean upon arrival. They said they would clean them while we were out in the morning but it’s clear they did the minimum. The carpets felt dirty to walk on and had clear build up of grime in the corners. There are books all over the shelves that seemed unnecessary and like they collected dust and germs. The toilet paper was the cheapest and did not match the price point and prime location.
It was nice to be close to everything but overall we were disgusted with the lack of cleanliness and years of grime built up. It seems with q few minor upgrades and deep cleaning it could have been a much better place.

Great location - needs updating
While we loved the location! However, I don’t understand why the owner doesn’t get the carpet cleaned…. It was very dirty. Also, the stairs to the upper bedroom are extremely steep! Hauling luggage up them is quite a challenge!

Best location
Amazing location. Back porch overlooking the creek is priceless. Front porch facing the street is great as well.

Great location
Ideal location just steps from Vail Village. It was perfect for the Vail Lacrosse Shootout with an easy walk to Ford Park. The back deck view of Gore Creek was serene.

Overall, this was a great spot for us and we really enjoyed our stay.
It worked well for our easy going and flexible party of 3 adults and 5 kids. The location was outstanding with easy & close access to mountain base/village. Also, the large shared common space, bright light and 8 person dining table made it ideal for our group to hang out for meals before and after skiing. For these reasons we would definitely stay again.
We didn't start off well, however, as we never received the welcome email with the access code for the rental. The front desk closes and staff go home at 8pm every night, which was before our arrival. There is no after hours phone number publicly listed, nor any after hours answering service - vm's get checked the next day.
Thankfully, after 10 or so calls, a staff member happened to still be there, retrieved our vm, and called us back. If not, myself and young children would have had to find a different place to stay for the night. Suggestion to Christiana is to confirm email receipt for guests before closing for the day - it was scary to arrive at 9pm in the cold/snow with young children and tons of luggage with no access, a closed lobby and no after hours phone number.
To help future guests, please refer to the pro's/con's below to see if this spot is right for you.
Pro's: outstanding location... walking distance to gondola and village, nice floorplan with plenty of open common space for kids/adults, 8 person kitchen table ideal for large breakfasts and dinners, nice big windows with open balcony looking onto Gore Creek drive, easy access to awesome Christiana hot pool right across the street. Christiana staff were very nice and helpful.
Con's:
-kitchen small (max 2 people, and only 1 if dishwasher is open)
-appliances very old but for the most part functional (dishwasher only worked on pots/pans cycle, oven took forever to cook a frozen pizza), washer/dryer was nice to have, the gas fireplace was not working properly (we couldn't turn it off)
-bathrooms and bedrooms a little cramped (except for master bedroom which was spacious).
-loft bedroom access/stairs very steep & narrow - best for kids and/or athletic adults.... really a hazard if you are older and/or not holding the hand rail.
overall, this spot could use a little TLC/updating, but for those who aren't too picky and value location/access to the village then this is the spot for you.

Wonderful location about 30 steps from the edge of the village, but still super quiet. Loved the quiet back deck overlooking Gore Creek as well as the sunny front patio. Spacious living spaces. Decor is a bit dated and shows some wear, and kitchen and baths are small, but space was More than adequate for our needs. A great value in the off-season!

This is a great place to stay! Close to everything and we never had to get back in the car once we arrived. The condo is well equipped. Could use some TLC in terms of the carpeting and screens but otherwise very comfortable

We loved our stay
We had a great time and the location was very convenient. We had our grandson with us and it was nice to be able to go out him down for naps. Our only complaint was that the steps to the second floor room are very steep. The view was gorgeous, we could sit on the front porch and see the mountains and there was a creek right behind the property that we could see and hear. We had a great time. There were 7 of us including a 9 month old baby. We could of had two more with us and there was still enough room for sleeping.

Perfect location
We couldn’t have asked for a better location and home to celebrate our friend this weekend. The home was a great space and central to all things Vail during our stay.
